BUYER BEWARE!! Don't be fooled! My son was in the market for a 6 cyl Subaru Legacy. Very hard to find vehicle in the SE. This dealer had one that looked in good shape (pictures can be deceiving) so we went to check it out. Car was close to what it looked like in pics. So far so good. Then came the test drive. Went out with the owner and he couldn't stop bragging about the car and how we could rely on its outstanding condition due to it having gone thru 2 independent inspections out of the auction and a third at his dealership and that any problems are identified and repaired prior to the vehicle hitting his lot. Then I asked him about the noise coming from the front drivers side that was obviously the wheel bearing. He said he thought he heard it but that it shouldn't be a big deal. Told him that since he offers a 90 day warranty that if we purchased it that we'd have it checked out and repaired under the warranty. NOT! We should have known that a warranty will not cover pre-existing conditions and the dealer FOR SURE should have known and told us that it would not be covered but he didn't. So we get back to the dealership and he agrees to put it up on rack to check out the belly and no real problems identified. We were numerous times reminded of the inspections done before being put on lot. There is NOWAY the wheel bearing growl could have been missed so that testament wound up being meaningless. Don't fall for it. He also said he was very committed to customer satisfaction and didn't want to bump into a customer at Walmart and not be able to say hi without harsh feelings due to a bad car deal. That won't happen. Wound up purchasing the vehicle under the impression that we'd be able to file the warranty claim. Took it to Firestone to have bearing replaced and warranty company said not only no due to it being pre-existing but also said that wheel bearings are not covered. Called the dealership for assistance and spoke with owner's wife as he was at the auction buying more cars. She asked me to FAX her a copy of the bill from Firestone which I did. Follow-up phone calls when unanswered. Imagine that! $400+ lesson learned! Gave up trying to reach them as I knew they'd dodge my calls and messages as they did. Bottomline, BUYER BEWARE and don't fall for the its been inspected 3 times before it hits the lot, line that he would want to be able to bump into you at Walmart and be able to speak to you, and the line about the lady that's working on a home refinance and is very interested in purchasing it so if you want it it may not be here when you come back. My wife needs a new vehicle soon and I assure you there is no way I'd go back to this dealer! Will tell everybody I know about this. Hope it helps you!

This is a great place to buy a vehicle . This place will do everything they can to get you into the vehicle you desire to buy and afterwards show you how everything works on the vehicle you have questions about . Everyone from the workers to Ed Cummings & wife are friendly and ensure you are happy with your purchase . Also , they service the vehicles there and every Saturday , between 10am - 2pm they wash your car/SUV/truck .....once a week !!!! What other car dealerships do that ?? FEW TO NONE !!! I sub-contracted picking up vehicles for a GM/Buick/Chevrolet/Pontiac dealership for almost 10 years going to many hundred if not over a thousand other dealerships and Auctions to most states East of the Mississippi river and i only remember 5 or 6 that did something similar . I just cannot say enough for this dealership , Auto Depot in Franklin , NC but this is one in a million .... that treats customers RIGHT .. BEFORE , DURING AND AFTER THE SALE ! I give them 5 stars in every aspect of service there ! yes , i bought a vehicle from them, but if i had gotten a bad vehicle , bad service etc., i would say so or even if they did one thing wrong , i would mention it in this review ... but they DID ALL THE RIGHT WAYS to sale , treat the customer and appreciate just coming by to look . If you are in Franklin , NC 28734 or reasonable driving distance and looking for a vehicle , call them or drive to Auto Depot and check their vehicles out ... Thank you Auto Depot , Ed & Susan Cummings , the owners , James , the nice salesman with 50 years experience ( 30 plus years owning a dealership himself but retired and helps Ed Cummings now ) and the vehicle service worker there ( i'm having my 1st almost SENIOR moment .....i''m 51 yrs old , not quite a senor citizen yet ..lol... i cannot remember his name , but he is retired Marine and wears his Marine cap proudly !!! I''m going to give him a great cap to wear though .. US ARMY ..LOL i''m retired Army ) for selling me a great used vehicle and treating me right in the process of buying it and telling me everything they knew of the SUV ! Truth is everything ! The salesman I spoke to was very friendly, and Not pushy. However, when I did a history check on the car I had inquired about, I found that it would not be a reliable car, not to mention a poor family car! ALWAYS get a background check on any car!

Had fretted over buying another car as it had been years and who looks forward to interacting with a car salesman Ed and Suzy made my day though and in just a few hours I was waving goodbye while driving a car I felt as if it was made just for me plus had made a pair of friends that would be there for us if needing help in.future. It was a great experience and smile whenever I think about it.

Brought a dodge crew cab pick up from this dealership, great buying experience, no pushy salesmen, excellent deal, I applied for credit and they explained it very clearly.....made me feel at ease through the whole transaction.....plus they offer free car washes every Saturday!!

I have purchased 3 cars from Auto Depot & have loved them all! Ed (the owner) has been great to work with & the cars and customer service will keep me coming back! Highly recommend!
