A very disappointing experience.

I will NEVER go back here for anything. Was sold a car with numerous safety violations but with a valid inspection sticker. After a real inspection on the car failed in five different areas for safety violations. The dealer was more than reluctant to fix the violations and has kept the car for more than 10 days, so far, with no repairs. Double check the fine prints since they try to pull something over you at every turn. They do not do what they say they will and will use fine print to cheat you every chance they get. It was terrible to deal with Maureen and awful to have to fight for everything that should be done legally.

The vehicle had passed MA. safety inspection. The purchasers attempt to negotiate a check back from the dealer after he purchased the vehicle was unethical and unreasonable. We provide our customers with certified vehicles that pass rigorous safety inspections and provide extended warranty a no charge for peace of mind.

Be very careful with this dealership (scammers)

6/24/18 So as far as the car goes ..its running good seemingly..rotars wasnt replaced but I'll take care of that . Had to edit my last posts as I had left out details that help understand my overall review...and that's all these are.. I received a letter from Maureen..herself.. the salesperson ..or owner..that's says they want me to stay away or rather "notice to not trespass".. my family member whom was with me also got one also..and that a copy of the incident was sent to police..i assume because of a post I made that never mentioned me..myself or anyone doing anything physically harming anyone employee at Martin's or any property.nor did I threaten her at her office..I may have swore once by saying f**ng bull***t..and I did slam my own cell phone in her little waiting area while turned away from ...but she told me I threatened her in a post.....I threatened to not stop in seeking retribution if I get shafted on the car..I threatened to hit news centers..review boards..ect...not her ..or anyone.. I simply exposed the bad business practices in a public post and referenced the worlds violence problems and why they happen as result of people scamming and taking advantage of others, possibly becasue im a afro- american she already had me stereotyped and figured id be easy to get over on..well to her dismay im no thug and i am not an uneducated black man as she seems to thinks, i however made the mistake to put a little trust in a woman that clearly has ego problems and in my opinion,practices bad business in order to scam customer out of their money.. As if I'd ever buy or visit there again ..I'd give car back if I can reverse deal and get money back even though I like it through all this.. Now Martin's has made repairs.after i had to open up complaints to get her to simply say , bring it back to me as she should have in the beginning...I ..myself a paying customer..whom maybe now just over a month ago purchased a suv from you after you preach your a certified lot and you point out the faults of other mechanics from other dealerships near you..See I was test driving a SUV when I saw Martin's and stopped to look and Maureen came out and pointed out some fault in the truck I was test driving..so I wound up trusting n buying from her..now I understand auto sales..the business..trust no one....but I...the consumer has rights regardless and shouldn't be subjected to dealership cutting corners to just sell car which I know alot do so it's no huge surprise but i will not let someone try to make me look bad or accuse me of making threats nor of doing anything i didn't do no matter how you yourself want to twistingly perceive it because your business practices were wrong from the beginning by trying to temporarily patch things in a car to sell...point being any pro mechanic that check the car which a dealer lot should do at inventory...should see obvious things..like leaks...busted radiator..tranny line...power steering hose leaks...ect.. not push off car .. try to make customer deal with it through warranty company within first 30 days of sales which is your responsibility..and you the very owner or salesperson is the one that says what to fix or not fix during inventory..machanics do as told..so for you say you didnt know is very questionable and reflects business practices. Now we finally agree you will fix suv..tell me come at 9am..a day I need to be work at 8am..you show up 945am ..I have family member with me because I had feeling I would be stuck out there and didnt want to be alone. You walk in and ask..is that your hitman? I dismiss your statement...long story short you seemingly didnt care about why I was uspset.. 1. You sold me car and you knew of repairs that needed to be done.multiple.. 2. Finally agree to bring yo u to fix..you come in late without care. 3. I just needed help with transportationfor one day....even tho u hit me with warranty company would pay back for rental.which they wouldn't have you know it

2011 Toyota RAV4

I bought a car on monday 3/5/18 and supposed to get registration same day by dealer that they told me but I get registration on Saturday and they didn't do inspection for sticker that they promised. Customer dealing is very poor.

We are sorry you you were dismayed. The inspection station had closed by the time you came in. Had you arrived on the friday of your appointment the inspection would have been performed.

Extremely personable, friendly & quickly efficient

I came in to look at a car and they had it washed and ready to look at when I showed up. Julie gave me the overview and the ride along, which was smooth and without a hitch. She was very professional and polite. While I only looked at one car in their lot, the rest appeared to be of the same quality as the one I ended up buying, which was top-of-the line for certified pre-owned vehicles. The rest of the staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable throughout the entire process and made sure I knew about every option and step that we encountered. I don't buy cars often, but I would definitely consider them again when the time comes, and I also will recommend them to anyone I meet.

Best car purchase ever!

I spoke with the owner, Maureen Foley, and gave her some parameters about what I was looking for. She found me the perfect car at the right price! I have a busy schedule and she was kind enough to stay late so I could come after work to sign the paperwork. Usually I find this process very overwhelming but Maureen was prepared. All the paperwork was ready for me to sign when I arrived. She carefully reviewed each documen with me (including the manufacturers warranty as well as an extended warranty )and walked me through the process in no time at all. The office is easy to find and very welcoming. I LOVE my new car and would definitely buy another car in the future and strongly recommend making a trip to Martin's Preowned Auto Center if you're in the market for a car. Maureen and her staff are very knowledgeable and the inventory of cars is great.
