I purchased my dream car from Rami.

I purchased my dream car from Rami. I am in Arizona so needed to have the car shipped. Rami was very good to work with. Rami made the entire process smooth and professional. Within 48hrs I had seen pics of the car-purchased-and it was on the trailer being shipped. Thank you Rami!!

I'll begin by saying that I made several mistakes myself

I'll begin by saying that I made several mistakes myself prior to my experience with this dealership. I was naive to think that not buying certified pre-owned is a risky venture. After a kid ran into me, totaling my 2017 MINI JCW I sought another of that exact year, make, and model. I was also naive to think that Carfax would be accurate. NESCO had a 2017 like mine but with different paint, which I felt I had to have since I couldnt find any others nationwide. It had twice the miles of mine and had 3 previous owners. For most those would be major red flags, but for those like myself who really know MINIs we know that a lot of people buy them because they're "cute", not realizing what they're really buying, so high turnover isn't unusual. It doesn't always mean there are problems with the car. So I was willing to take a gamble, putting it on hold for a non-refundable amount of $1000 since there were no reported crashes or problems. When I spoke with Rami by phone (since I live 3.5 hours away) he was very kind in offering to hold it for me, but had what seemed like a tone of hesitation, and he expressed concern over my holding it without having driven it. He told me the car had no problems, but I got the impression he wasn't telling me everything. Granted, that's an impression, and he could've very well been sincere. People buy cars all the time online without driving them, so I wasn't that reticent about it. When I got to the dealership to test drive it I was disappointed to find a major chunk taken out of one of the wheels, which after the purchase I learned was contributing to the tire not holding air, major scratches on a side panel in the back, and several dings on the body, none of which were photographed or mentioned online. When looking under the hood everything was very clean and obviously had been detailed. I looked for all the obvious problems that MINIs are notorious for, but there are some things that no one would know about unless looked at on a lift and/or driven for a month or so. The actual value of the car on Carfax, Autotrader, Blue Book was $13,000 but they asked $18,000. I tried to talk them down but they'd only knock $600 off of it. After finalizing the purchase I drove it from Arlington to Austin without any problems, but I noticed that firmware was glitchy. Worse, only a couple weeks after owning it I discovered low coolant and oil in the coolant reservoir. A VERY bad sign. It's lucky that I check it on MINIs every few days because if I hadnt I could've easily blown the head, rendering the car useless. When I took it to my regular MINI service center (independent, NOT a dealership) they found numerous problems with it, including cracked oil cooler housing (which ended up costing me $2500 to fix), 2 cracked motormounts, problems with the shocks and the brakes, and mismatched tires (THIS, I admit, I should've caught). I knew when doing the paperwork for the purchase it was "as is', but Rami explicitly said "if you have any problems with it I just ask you call us first and give us a chance to make it right before taking further action", so I did. But he was very dismissive, saying "you can't expect us to go over every little detail of a vehichle", and when I asked if they had even checked and changed the oil he said they don't do that. When I listed details of my mechanic's findings he pointed out that the parts were marked up a lot, but what he didn't acknowledge was labor costs: even if you find cheap parts for a MINI most repairs require taking apart the entire front end of the car, which is very time-consuming. I've done many MINI repairs myself. The third party warranty included was useless, not covering any of it. After repairs I ended up paying what amounted to $23,000 for a car that was valued at $13,000, even doing some of the repairs myself. I feel completely ripped off. Before all of this, I did read mixed reviews, but thought I'd get lucky and be one of the happy customers. I was wrong.

Ripped me off out of altogether &14000 cash!

Ripped me off out of altogether &14000 cash! 90 day warranty TRASH! 10/10 I do NOT recommend! check engine light has came on at least 7 times in less than 90 days. This nice looking car causes me more stress than having no car. The mechanic they have is shade tree rude & disrespectful. I recorded the seller telling me about the warranty before I gave him my money.. now it limitation’s on the warranty! I’m stuck with a cute raggedy vehicle

I was skeptical of purchasing a vehicle across the country sight unseen but Rami did a great job providing video walkthroughs and pointing out any imperfections. Rami was quick to reply to text messages and phone calls making the process seamless. The vehicle was shipped across country and dropped off in my driveway within three day. The entire process and the condition of the vehicle exceeded my expectation.

We are sorry to hear about your experience with us. We did our best to be as transparent as possible about the condition of the vehicle prior to the sale by sending additional pictures and walk around videos of the vehicle. We strongly stress the importance of completing a 3rd party inspection prior to the sale especially when looking to purchase the vehicle sit unseen but that offer was declined by the customer. We would have been more understanding if the vehicle had any major issues but the vehicle having a few door dings and an aftermarket exhaust system, which was disclosed ahead of time, did not seem fair to justify returning the vehicle. We were reached out 3 months later regarding an issues with the clutch throw out bearing making noise but unfortunately it was not covered on the warranty provided. It was made very clear in the policy of the warranty that it would not be a covered item.
