Most recent visit I purchased an extended warranty thru Assurant Vehicle Care and was assisted by Robert/Finance Manager. Since I've always purchased an extended warranty with all of the used vehicles I have owned I was elated to find out GMC offers them on vehicles over 100K, too... Who knew?! I love my truck! Reasonably priced and added piece of mind while traveling sold me. Kudos to Robert for helping me as a walk-in and answering all my questions!

UPDATE: Mr. Price personally helped out with my issue and resolved it accordingly. I really appreciate that my second experience was way better!! Scheduled an appointment over a month out for service. My vehicles back window is leaking. GMC Sierra 1500. Dropped off my vehicle at 8am for what I thought was an 8:30 appointment. I was sadly mistaken. I didn’t not receive any communication from the service department. Once the time hit about 2:30 in the afternoon, my wife and I were nearby so I stopped in. I asked about an update and was told that they had not even looked at my truck yet. I proceeded to leave to await a phone call. I got that phone call about 30 minutes later. I was then told that they had window assembly would need to be resealed (something that was fairly obvious when I made the appointment over a month ago). Unfortunately they ran out of sealant/solvent because “we have had to do a few of these in the past few weeks.” So not only was I out an entire day at work for absolutely nothing to be done, I now have to take it back in on Monday for it to be fixed because after they didn’t look at it all day and didn’t have the parts to fix it, they made a phone call to another store to source the parts. Something that could have/should have been done in the morning after they should have looked at my truck at the prescribed appointment time. To say I’m disappointed is underselling it. I honestly wanted to trade in that truck right then and go buy another Ford like I had before. Thanks for not much David Carter and whoever the service manager is. I will not be recommending that anyone do business with this dealership. This is my Ted Talk, a disgruntled veteran.

On a 14 hour road trip our Chevy Cruz broke down in Valdosta and we barely made it to Prince Chevrolet at 11 a.m. on a Friday. The service team immediately took our car in to investigate. Tim Wauhop was exceptional and kept us updated as they determined the coil pack had to be replaced. They had a busy day with non-stop customers but still had our car repaired In 3 hours and we were on our way! What a blessing in a distressing situation. These guys rock!

Mr. Watlington, I finally was able to research your complaint and thought I should respond to you. I would be more than welcome to discuss over the phone if that works for you but here is our side of the story. Your vehicle was brought to us for check engine light, traction control light, oil leak, black smoke coming from exhaust and coolant bottle being empty. Your vehicle was not driveable which caused us to have to push your vehicle into a stall for diagnosis. Upon doing so and placing on a lift, our certified technician found a hole in the side of your engine block. We could not have known that simply by looking at the truck in the parking lot. We determined that your vehicle needed an engine. We quoted you $20,657 for a remanufactured engine which included a significant core charge of $5000 that GM charges us for your core since yours had a hole in the block and couldn't use yours. So $5000 of our quote was for the core. We even suggested that you purchase a used core from a junkyard for $500 which could be returned to GM saving you $4500. Our quote of $15657 was for a remanufactured engine from GM, not a used one with no telling what miles that you ended up purchasing from Ray's Automotive. In addition, our reman engine would come with a 3 year/100,000 mile warranty which your used engine would not have. So in closing, I do believe that our 1 hour diagnosis is a fair charge for our services. I do agree that we should reimburse the shop fee which I will be glad to do. Not The Type of Service I was hopping for
My family and I were eating dinner this afternoon, On the way home my 2021 GMC started running rough and engine light came on, It only had 26,500 miles on it so I stopped by the dealership and talked to Javn Guadalupe who treated myself and my family wonderfull. We were going to leave the truck there to get fixed, Then the manager David Cater came out and asked if we bought the truck from Prince, I said no it was bought in TN but I have had it serviced here. Then he said , you can leave it and it could take 2 to 3 weeks for us to even look at it and do not call Monday or Tuesday to ask about it. When you spend $115,000 for a GMC truck it should not matter were you bought it. I called GMC and they were happy to help me, even coming to my house to pick the truck up tonight. David Cater needs to be more understanding to his guest, He is not doing a great job setting the example for his team. I would tell him to see how service is when his eating out with his family, Shopping and ask himself would he go back to do business with them if he was treated like us. I know things are tough trying to find help at business but please remember its not the guest fault.

Mr. Cruz, I apologize for you feeling that we treated you unfairly. I spoke with Mr. Carter about your review this morning. When we asked if you purchased the truck from us, it was because we did not see your VIN in our system and were confused since you lived close by. We were under the impression you had purchased it from us so we were just trying to get some clarity. It wasn't intended to insult you so I apologize for that. If you leave your truck with us, we most likely could diagnose it sooner than 2 weeks however by the time we order parts, the total repair may be up to 3 weeks. GM will only pay for a rental vehicle once the diagnosis has been made. Please let us know if you would like to return so that we can properly diagnose your vehicle under warranty.
