STG Auto Group of Montclair

I live in Las Vegas. After being lowballed by multiple dealerships in Vegas, I decided to try my luck with selling my car privately. Omar from STG reached out and offered me the private party value for my vehicle, as a trade-in to STG. He said STG could pick the car up for a small fee or I could drive it down to their location in Montclair, CA. I was very hesitant on working with STG, as there are so many horror stories about crooked used car dealers. I felt I would be in a vulnerable position if I were to drive the car there and they were to lowball me. I decided the risk was worth it to me for the extra money, and I drove it down. Immediately, Danny greeted me and started the inspection process. I had been upfront and honest with them about small imperfections the vehicle had, so there were no surprises. After inspecting the car, Danny confirmed that they would purchase the vehicle from me for the previously agreed-upon price. This is a standup dealership with great customer service. I feel I was treated very fairly and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking to get top dollar when trading their vehicle. They even gave me a ride to the airport after the deal was completed. Thank you for making the process so easy!

I went to look at a car that was on their website and had made an appointment but when I got there “it had been sold.” Old trick. I agreed though to look at the same model and year but in a different color. It was being “serviced”. After an hour waiting it had not shown up, I left the lot then.

Please read all the negative reviews because they are 100% accurate. These are a bunch of dishonest individuals falsifying information about cars online until they get you in and try to sell you a different vehicle.

Told then to "Lose my info!" This dealership had me pay for packages that were never delivered. The manager made promises to me that he never kept. We purchased a truck from STG before my car but we will never do business with this company again and warn anyone who's looking for a vehicle. I was given the run around for months and decided this company wasn't worth me wasting my time anymore! It's pretty sad for them since I have enormous amount of friends and family who look for referrals and advice since I'm also in the Transportation industry.

absolute garbage experience. they have listed prices and supposed sale price. Lowest price in the area xxxxxxxx. they're just trying to trap you in their sales office until you break. if you can't even come to a tentative deal online before a test drive don't bother going.

The last November we bought a 2021 toyota rav4 and the sales person charge us 454.00 dollars for California plates even that we told him we live in Las Vegas and we don't have California drivers license and he said to us that we will receive a credit on the Nevada dmv for the plates,IS a big LIER,the person at the Nevada dmv tell us that is a LIE,they don't give credit from a different state and we only needed a moving permit,we had to pay 405.00 dollars MORE for the nevada plates,we call the sales person and he said they will give us a refund for the money and for the tint windows that the car had not tinted windows and I take it to a shop and I PAID FOR IT and he also said will give us that refund too and now we call to the sales person,the manager,the person that is supposedly in charge of the refunds and nobody answer the phone and we haven't received any refunds,I hope the ceo Ryan Bacily see this BAD REVIEW and do something about it because this people are stealing money from customers and they think not answering the phone calls will solve the problem,I'll contact the California DMV investigator and email to the chairman and to the BBB,if they going to steal my money I'll let everyone know.

The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and never pushy. They answered all my questions and made the entire car-buying process seamless.

I wish we would’ve never set foot in this place. I bought a truck that supposedly had a tow package without the receiver on the back. I’ve asked him for three weeks now to order it and put it on and they have not done it. Do not buy a car from this place. They are liars. also, they make you buy low jack which I did not want but they made me buy it for $ 1495 because the stupid salesman says they needed to make up some money too. It’s a scam. This is what your insurance is for. Do not go to this place ever.
