Below I have paste the my original post. February 14 This car was in my possession for several weeks before it became useless for my teen son who has Asperger and worked really hard to have a method of transportation to get to school. Once I exposed Atlantic Auto Sales online within 10 mins the owner called to try to make amends after ignoring all my previous efforts prior to the reviews. He gave me his “personal cell number” ( I was blocked, not once did he pick up my calls and messages) they are very good at ghosting. In making amends, he had me toll the car back to his lot at my expense and kept the car for about two months. When I called the dealer to inquire about the status of the car they were always rude to me and made it uncomfortable. The owner wanted to charge me again over a thousand dollars when during making “amends” he said that the problem with the car was very cheap to fix and therefore they would take care of it. But I was being hopeful, borrowed the money and pay them more money. After several months he finally returned the car and as my son was driving it off the lot, all the lights came back on again. We took it back to the dealer and we waited several more weeks this again. Ultimately, for the third time, we get the car that was supposedly an “easy and quick” fix. 3 days later all the engine lights , mcs and many other related to engine issues are back on. The car is as reliable as the dealer has been. My son doesn’t have a way to get around to school and his therapies. It is really sad that he saw a woman who trusted them because I don’t know about cars and they saw my son who really didn’t understand that we were both being taken by these money hungry sharks. K a r m a First post on February 14, THEY SELL GARBAGE!!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE SCAMMERS! Their good rating is base on people who give them good rating soon after doing business with them but a few weeks or months later, who knows how they really feel. With limited resources and as a single mom I bought a car from Atlantic Auto for my autistic son who earned it with his hard work and needed it because he was starting at school at Wake Tech. I bought this car ONLY 7 WEEKS AGO!! THEY assured me to pick the car that I purchased from them because it was going to last him some more years to come. (Silly me, forgetting that these used car sales people are SHARKS) I took their word of reassurance. ONLY 4 months and the car's transmission is broken. A used one would cost me about $3,500. I called them and spoke to receptionist several times to see if they can help me in any way possible and they ignored my calls. Never returning my calls. I am very upset because THEY JUST DON'T CARE that I spent everything that we were able to borrow to be able to get my son this car out of necessity. #HEARTLESS. #SCAMMERS. #DISHONEST

Sales people were attentive and polite. Concerned about customer safety during pandemic even inquired about family. Variety of cars but nothing in my price range yet.

OUTSTANDING SERVICE!

**IF YOU’RE SHOPPING FOR USED CARS IN THE GARNER/RALEIGH AREA, IM ABOUT TO SAVE YOU A LOT OF TIME! ** Best experience ever! Mike, the owner and his staff, knew every car we asked about inside and out! We didn’t even have to ask about any issues because Mike went out of his way to point out little minor defects we may not have noticed otherwise... talk about honesty! He also offered a solution fo each minor cosmetic flaw. He and his staff graciously pulled out half a dozen cars for us to drive, telling us to take as long as we needed with each one. He bent over backwards to help, giving us his personal cell phone number to use should we have any further follow up questions. Absolutely amazing! I would’ve left this review even if we hadn’t purchased a car from him, but we did! He gave us an incredible deal and I got my dream car! I HIGHLY recommend this dealership if you’re shopping for quality on a budget. So happy!

Exceptional service

My car buying experience was great. The staff knew the cars in and out. And if there was an issue with the car they let you know right off the back. They are honest, reliable, and look out for you.

Atlantic Auto Dealers

The staff was congenial and very knowledgeable. The cars on the lot are very clean and there was multiple choses of the make and model that I was looking for. they are honest and upfront with pricing.

Great dealership . would highly recommend

Mother purchase a 2007 Honda odeysey . It had a minor issue that was quickly resolved by the dealership . My mother is disable and loves her van . She is considering another car purchase.

I chose to trust my young salesman Joe who would need to be as transparent as possible because I was buying from long distance. Joe didn't attempt to hide any of my prospective vehicles flaws rather, he took pictures of the entire vehicle so that I could make an informed decision. I flew in, was picked up at the airport, the deal was expedited, and the atlantic owners and sales people exceeded my expectations. Honesty is a rare priority and this group chooses not to attempt to deceive. I recommend this dealership; go ahead and ask the tough questions they'll work to satisfy your need to know.
