Even though the staff was friendly, they took 6 days to

Even though the staff was friendly, they took 6 days to even look at the car and when the repair to radiator was finally completed (17 days later)they didn’t contact us. They also didn’t clean the engine of the coolant that is all over it. The time it took wasn’t all the dealers fault, just lack of communication. The only reason I am giving a 2 rating is because the service staff seemed nice.

Drove almost an hour to this dealership for my scheduled

Drove almost an hour to this dealership for my scheduled appointment. I had explained when I scheduled online just what the issues I was having with my Palisade. Upon checking in I was told that there are 88 tickets behind and that the only way to get in line and have a ticket written was to leave my vehicle for 4 weeks because they were behind and only had 2 technicians working on vehicles. I understand places get behind but to have not informed me of their procedure ahead of time, and that they were so far behind, was ridiculous. I was told that their phone operator was not providing this information to customers, and it sounded that if one signed up online there was no way to be informed. There were many, many cars parked around the service center. My assumption is that many of them must be part of the 88 cars backlogged. If you don't mind being without your car for 4 weeks, then leave your car. This may be decent place, but I wasn't willing to wait that long to find out.

Honesty & Integrity is alive at Greenway Hyundai

The entire sales staff from the top down abide by "old school" values ... Honesty & Integrity !!!! It was like a blast from the past ... we ended up at this dealer by accident because there are 6 or 7 GREENWAY Hyundai dealers in the area .. we went to the wrong one but it was a blessing in disguise! Brian was a pleasure to work with as well as his 2 managers above him who worked with us to make a deal that was a win /win !!!! Low pressure, no endless rounds of "manager approval" to put up with !!! Good old fashion negotiations with a true goal to sell a car !!!! I recommend this dealer to EVERYONE who is tired of the high pressure, leisure suit sales people out there who are a pain to work with !!!! You won't find anyone like that at this dealer !!!!

Wonderful time with my service!

I have purchased multiple vehicles from there and it is always fast and easy! The service department is also wonderful! They are timely and always have snacks and beverages available. Once when my car was in for a repair, they gave me a rental until mine was done! I highly recommend Greenway Hyundai of Decatur!

Best place in North Alabama

Had a great buying experience! Shortest time in a dealership. Stress free. I was in & out in an hour. Understood my needs. Not pushy! My needs was always top priority. Will definitely be back.

My 2 year old Palisade is making noise that is described

My 2 year old Palisade is making noise that is described in service bulletin 22-SS-001H. I tell them this before I bring the car in and to have the parts on hand per the bulletin. They confirm my diagnoses and say they have to order the parts. I come back 2 weeks later and they say they can only replace one side despite the service bulletin clearly saying replace both sides. They end up replacing the wrong side and I pick up the car and it's not fixed. Took me less than 10 second to bounce on the back of the car to hear it clunk Totally incompetent and very slow. Been dealing with this since 11/18/22. They have totally wasted my time going back and forth multiple times.

Yeah.. I had a in person meeting with Barry before leaving. He couldn't do a SINGLE thing to help me other than tell me to bring my car back yet again in 3 months.... because I guess they couldn't fix it on the first two times even after I tell them exactly what is wrong and how to reproduce the problem. They claim they replace these "all the time" Barry blamed everything on everyone except his own facility. The customer after me left as well not so happy with the service as they told them to goto Bentley in huntsville. A little hint... they are not much better.

Keep an eye on them.

I'm writing this review because we traded in my wife's car on the 1st of February and gave the dealership a 10 day payoff on that vehicle from the leinholder and here it is 18 days later and the dealership still hasn't paid off that car and the amount of payoff has gone up since they neglected to pay it off within the 10 day payoff window., And I've got news for them I am not paying the amount that it has gone up. They can either pay it since it's their fault or they just won't receive the title. Not my problem anymore it stopped being my problem the day we signed the papers to trade it in.. And if it goes to many days more and they report to the credit companies I will be speaking to my lawyer. So a word of advice to anyone trading their vehicle in make sure you watch out for this so it doesn't happen to you.

Being that we had to re-sign the deal with a co-signer and different bank due to difficulties with paystubs provided, the payoff process was ultimately delayed despite our best efforts.
