Fowler Auto Group has been locally owned and operated in Norman Oklahoma for almost 40 years. From its start as a small shop located in historic downtown Norman the family business has grown to a five-store operation across Oklahoma and Colorado that employs over 400 people. The family has now seen three generations work to continue its success in the auto industry.

What's with the new found douchery attitude among your

What's with the new found douchery attitude among your staff members? Since when the meaning of Volkswagen changed to, "we think we are too good for you?" I own a 14 years old VW that I've been planning to upgrade for a while, but after been treated like I'm underserving of owning a newer one and disrepected by some dismissive jerk, I think I'm done with you. Idiots who can't or don't want to explain what's included in a quote and others who think they can push excessive mark ups if you accept their lunch bribes, it is too much for ne. I don't like dealing with drifters and liars and seems to me all you have for staff. Made me drive 80 some miles to waste my time. I would not recommend this place to anyone!!!

Don’t waste your time with this dealer.

Don’t waste your time with this dealer. Made an appointment to test drive two vehicles. I live 30 mins away (hour round trip). I get there and they do not let you test drive unless you agree to their OTD price, prior to even being able to drive the car. Oh and ask them about their $2k+ in dealer addons. This isn’t 2020-2023 anymore. These dealerships need to figure it out before their 2020 profits run out and they close their doors for good. Waste of time and effort. Trust me, there are better dealerships out there. Fowler dealerships use to be great before 2020.

Just to follow up my yesterday's appointment to let you...

Just to follow up my yesterday's appointment to let you know that the recall service that I was scheduled to do WAS NOT done and the alignment service that was also scheduled to do made my car even worst than it was before. I waited there for seven hours and nothing was done in my car or was poorly done. I have been a loyal customer since 2018 and the last two times I was there the service has decreased in quality. My situation yesterday was a tremendous disrespect with a customer. The employee who assisted me yesterday was really rude and impolite. I will looking for another dealership to take my business from now on. The employee, I believe his name was Jacob, lied to my face at the end trying to convince me that the recall was a two day job. It was NEVER brought to my attention before, it is not in the appointment email or on the text message I received confirming the appointment. In the email, it even says that the "the client will wait while the service is performed", unless someone expected me to sleep in the dealership, it was never a two day job. So I lost trust and confidence on Fowler VW Norman and I will not go back there and I will make sure that none of my friends make the same mistake that I did.

We bought our atlas at this location. We started smelling...

We bought our atlas at this location. We started smelling coolant, took the vehicle in, they stated they can’t smell or find the problem, take it back in, they smell the coolant, tell me that’s normal, loose coolant so fast we have to keep topping it off, take it back in, they find a bad head gasket after I show them where I see the issue, they replace the head gasket, coolant issue continues, take it back, same run around. Took it to a new dealership and they found the head gasket was again blown, they fix it, run test and there’s still an issue, now we have a new motor. Fowler was the worst dealership I’ve ever dealt with. They kept blaming it on new techs, new service advisors, and new management. Horrible experience.

BUYER BEWARE

Will never be back to this dealership. EVER. Also, don’t ever purchase any extended warranties through this company and ever expect a refund. “Mr Fowler says we cannot cancel it” Purchased a brand new GLI 12/2019, got talked into a windshield, tires and wheel, GAP and enviroshield protection and was told we could cancel the warranty should we ever trade in the vehicle. Lo and behold somebody lied when we bought the vehicle and we are out money. Yes I know we won’t get our full amount but we are only getting a refund on GAP. The reasoning? Because “Mr Fowler says so he makes the rules” The warranties are useless. I tried using it this past summer on the tire warranty when I needed a new tire and got the run around from the warranty company and the dealership. So not only out $134 for the tire out the money for the tire warranty. I will never buy another Volkswagen, ever.

We had the pleasure of working with Cliff for the purchase of our Atlas. He was helpful in anticipation of our arrival and promptly greeted us when we arrived. He was very knowledgeable about the Atlas and did a great job informing us about the car. He was kind and very professional. He has followed up with me multiple times since the purchase to make himself available with any questions and to check in with us. I am very impressed with my dealings with Cliff, and would absolutely recommend requesting him for the purchase of a VW.

Nate was friendly and efficient. We got exactly what we wanted for our trade, which is unheard of. They filled the gas tank before we drove off. There was no pressure and we were treated with respect. I would go back and buy another car from Nate!

Can not match the price from the other dealership

They advertise they can beat any price but not in reality. I found the same Car with same trim $2K cheaper. I couldn’t be happier. Oh and they offered me $5K less on my trade in. Which took them an hour to figure out how much my trade in was worth. When I tried to walk out their manager tried to stop me and offered more money on my trade. You lost a sale buddy.
