Add $1,000 to any used vehicle they list.

Add $1,000 to any used vehicle they list. Went to see used Chevy Impala listed for $12,947, test drove, and then left to visit other dealerships. When we returned ready to purchase (cash in hand) we were informed by Angelo, salesman, that the actual selling price would be $13,947 due to a "non-negotiable fee". Had they simply listed the car for this price or indicated in any way that this fee existed prior to when the checkbook came out, we may have proceeded. However, the deceptive nature in listing a car online (website, CarGurus, and on the lot) as one price up until the point of transaction and then suddenly adding another $1,000 to means I will not be purchasing or recommending this dealership. Despite the salesman's claim, no, this is not a "common practice".

Customer satisfaction with Gateway GMC

Salesman Robert Pope was very professional and was able to answer all of our questions. He showed us all of the features of the GMC we were buying. I would recommend him to anyone buying a vehicle from this dealership

GMC AT4

They did not let us use GM Employee discount but we had to sign it so I am thinking they kept it Tried to get a hold of salesman will not return my calls. No luck with any manager, always tied up

I Do NOT recommend

Nice sales guys but that’s where it stops. The Service Dept, in my opinion, is shady and I do not recommend. now 5 interactions and all bad. I took in a warning light when still under warranty and they couldn’t find a problem. 2000 miles later with the same warning and charged for the repair because it was just past the 36k warranty. They tried to hide notes and told me to sign, they folded the paper so I couldn’t see but wanted me to sign below. The note stated that my car began riding rough while I was on a roadtrip. The fact and what I told the service person was that it was riding rough when I picked it up from them doing maintenance. I corrected their notes before signing. Now, 40k miles and needs to replace the shocks and struts. A 2019 Yukon Denali that has never been off-road should not need replacing. Not covered and they want over $4500 to replace them. Picked up my car, was told the key fob was in the console after they pulled it around. Well as I was driving I got the notification that key not detector. Well, they kept it in their pocket and had to bring it to me after the car shut off I left this review on GoogleMaps too and they replied said to call them to try to help me out. It is assumed that, that was just to let people that read my review and see that they "TRY" to help. Well, the following day when they said to call them, I called. I explained that I was asked to call based on my google maps review. I was then transferred to a non descript voicemail and I left a voicemail and even repeated my phone number twice. 5 Days Later, STILL no call. I believe they just reply to the bad reviews and state that they want to help but have no intention of doing anything In my opinion, avoid this place like the plague

Great experience

After being very unhappy with the dealership we had used in the past, we stopped by Gateway. Marwan took the time to listen and understand what we wanted. We purchased a 2019 Encore and couldn't be happier!

Will never buy there again

When there to do my first oil change ! I asked service to vacuum my front and back seat he said that he could not vacuum the back because customers in the past said that the employees where stealing things from the back! Very poor service will never buy a vehicle there again.
