Write a reviewStranded teen on the hwy 2x’s in a “decent ride”
I made a mistake and bought a problem car from this guy. Never in my life would I ever recommend anyone to this dealer. I trusted this guy and have now wasted over 14,000 on a car that was worth 9,000. I was scammed by the best. My son was stranded on the highway twice now. We had to get AAA because we never knew when the car would stop and need towed. We had to replace brakes, rotors, speakers, antenna, gas cap, mass air flow, alternator and now on our way to a whole new transmission. Thanks a lot Decent Ride. Thanks for looking out for the teen drivers with your so called dependable cars!!!! Good luck to anyone purchasing from this crook!!!!!

Less than honest sales tactics!
I emailed the dealership on their website late in the night and was surprised to receive a corresponding email the same night. Needless to say, I was impressed. I live in North Carolina and this was late Wednesday night first contact. Spoke with Andrew I assume is the owner. I wanted to know if the vehicle had any issues and if was everything working on the vehicle as equipped. I was told YES, without hesitation. I was told that someone else was looking at the vehicle and was supposed to get back to him. I told him that I would get a cashier's check for the asking amount no negotiating because Andrew said everything was working as it should, even though he was asking the maximum resale price. Friday morning March 10, 2023, I arrive at the Dealership check in hand ready to drive away basically on the faith of Andrew's words. Well, the actual car did not live up to his description to the fullest. Now I understand that I was purchasing a 2005 Jaguar and was not expecting it to look brand new but I was expecting ALL of the equipment to be working as purported by Andrew (I mean I never once made any attempts to negotiate a lower price based on Andrew's words). So that is what has bothered me since I drove back to North Carolina. When I began to explain my discontent while at the dealership, Andrew simply referenced the age of the vehicle and that he did not check every little thing on the vehicle in spite of his earlier claim that everything works as it should. These are the issues: Right front HD head lamp has short and flickers on and off(bulb alone over $130.00 not to mention labor for finding the short) Adjustable peddles do not work $265.00 part only not including labor. The key fob does not work[Andrew said needs a battery, someone already had put a new battery in it] (to replace the fob and recut key from Jag dealer over $800.00). The interior headliner coming down ($650.00 to replace, Andrew, said that it was normal for a car of that age to have a sagging headliner). Hood insulation falling off replacement $250.00. The two front tires are balding out and beyond acceptable tread level $235.00 x 2 = $470.00 and front-end alignment needed $185.00. So as you can see a lot that was not disclosed so I am feeling some type of way about this whole deal. On the drive back the coolant light came on several times and I added fluid I hope its not another major issue. So if I had it to do all over again I would pass. I feel that the vehicle was represented deceitfully and Andrew was less than honest with me just to make a sale. I have been in business for 30 years and honesty is extremely important to customer satisfaction. When the truth is not told then the customer is limited in their decision-making. The car did ride smoothly and comfortably. I just wish that Andrew would have been upfront with me about all of the faulty items and then I could have made an informed decision to buy or pass. Instead, I have to spend an additional $2750.00 at a minimum and hope there are no underlining issues. If I would have not purchased I would have been stranded. So I hope this will help anyone thinking about purchasing a vehicle here.

Awesome Awesome Awesome
Andrew and his staff were AWESOME, from the moment I was on the website, to the moment I walked in the door, very honest, straight forward, no high pressure… I’ve looked for weeks to find the car for me, Andrew and his boys made my experience for enjoyable. Could not ask for a better experience.

Horrible !!!! Never purchase from this place
I bought a 2005 Landrover lr2 here and OMG what a nightmare!!! they did get me approved that was the only good thing. The sunroof doesnt work ZCore wouldn't cover it, when I drove it, it would rev up to 4 rpm's so I had to drive it in sport mode(who wants to shift) Zcore wouldnt cover it. The dealer told me he would get a sealer for my sunroof to keep the rain out, he never did nor call me back. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SALES LOT!!! You will hate your self afterwards...

Very Disappointed
Bought from here 5 years ago, no problem. This time...very unhappy. Don't bother buying the warranty, its useless. Their mechanic is sketchy. Had a heater core leak, took a week to get them to fix it. He never checked the engine or he would have seen that #2/5 coil wire was not OEM and the others were. This one didn't even fit properly and has fried the PCM. Called Trey, said I had to call ZCore (warranty company) who proceeds to tell me PCM isnt covered because the coil wire is what caused it and coil wires aren't covered. What kind of BS is that? Decent Ride should be covering all repairs because their " mechanic" certified this Jeep we spent almost $19K on. Whole thing seems shady to me. We will NOT be coming back for the H3 we were going to buy from you and I am going to make sure everyone knows this situation...and I know a LOT of people. Trey and Aramis were very nice( so I assumed) but thats all the " used car salesman" act, because Trey was not as friendly when I called about the PCM issue. He sud he would tell the owner, he hasn't called me either. They DO NOT stand behind their vehicles, they have a shady mechanic, and they are only nice when you're spending $19K on a vehicle.

Horrible place
Horrible customer service. Just handed the keys and said they would be out to help. Waited for 45 minutes looking at a truck and never came out. The truck was listed at 7000 and it was a 2000 dollar truck because the engine was about to give out, rust all over the truck, and not to mention they didnt even want to know what we had problems with .

Thank you very much for the great business review you left for us, we are so thrilled and always looking forward adding another happy customer to our list, glad Aramis was able to help sending you home with the vehicle you and your family liked, our team appreciate you business and your amazing feedback as well.
World class service
I was at first pretty skeptical about trying this car lot out. One of my buddies recommended it because of one of the salesmen. Tray went above and beyond not to sell me a vehicle, but to help me and my family make the right choice. That day we were truly blessed to be able to drive away in the vehicle that was right for us. Thank you Tray

Not a good place to buy a car
Very poor customer service, I scheduled an appointment to look at one of the vehicles on the lot, I showed up at exactly the time I was supposed to be there, the vehicle was still completely covered in snow, so I had to wade through 1 foot of snow to look at it. The sales guy walked out and said "our appointments are booked by an outside service, and they didn't tell us" HOW IS THIS MY PROBLEM? the vehicle was mis represented in the photos and it poor shape. I read a lot of bad reviews about this car lot when I was looking into them. I now believe everything I read. I would not use them again

Chris, We really welcome all types of feedbacks simply because we learn from them, just to clarify things your appointment was setup throw our Facebook page with a third party service and we didn't have enough time to clear the lot then 100 cars from a 10" of snow , again we express our apologies and hope to make it right next time.
