Luckily i was able to sniff him out before he could get me. I went to buy a truck there for $5,200. Looked it over and thought the brakes looked worn. He said, "they are brand new, but i'll do it for $4,700". Ok i said and then took it for a ride and overheated almost immediately. Told him i didnt want it because it was overheating. He got mad and said it wasn't overheating. When the engine is smoking, the car is overheating. I just got home and looking through cars.com and see it on there for $4,500. So within an hour the car went from $5,200 on cars.com to $4,500. hmmmm. take your chances here

I searched high and low over the internet for a decent truck within my budget and came across a 2001 Ford Ranger at Checkered Flag Auto Sales. Chris was great to deal with.

Checkered Auto: "We fixed the problem you were having with the car." Us: "Are you sure you didn't just turn off the codes like you did the first time around?" Checkered Auto: "Oh no...we wouldn't do that to you." So, let's see if they make good on their promise to fix the problem we bought the car with. All reviews (and there will be many) are pending until we see the outcome. So far, it's not looking too good.

I was looking for a first car for my son o Cars.com and found a 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder for sale at Checkered Flag. We went to take a look. Chris and Bob were friendly but not pushy; they answered our questions about the car and let us examine the car alone. We were also allowed to take a good test drive. We looked at some other cars, but then decided to come back for the Spyder. I called to check the car was still for sale and made an appointment. The buying process was quick and efficient and they had cleaned and prepared the car ready for our arrival. All in all, everything was much easier and more relaxed than I expected. I would happily recommend Checkered Flag to a friend.
