We had a great purchase experience, thanks to exceptional

We had a great purchase experience, thanks to exceptional service from our sales representative, Tommy Lane, who was able to find us the vehicle with the colors and features we wanted and get it to their dealership from another dealership the same day. He also took almost an hour after his shift was supposed to end to go over all the vehicle features before we went home with the vehicle, which was greatly appreciated. Edward Brown also did a great job during the sales paperwork process of fully explaining every document and walked us through the various financing and warranty options without pressuring us into any specific route.

Reluctant to use service again.

Reluctant to use service again. Had a problem, service wanted more for part, (7 thousand), than car was worth. Refused to use aftermarket or salvage yard parts. Found a dealer that set part up with car computer system for thousands less. By the way, I installed the part myself. They get the bulk of my business now.

Two instances where they didn't honor sale pricing listed

Two instances where they didn't honor sale pricing listed online or TV. Last time, they gave a discount; however, only if we use their banks. I felt the whole time they were sneaky about how they were putting together deals. I don't recommend going there.

Unfair sales policies, misleading advertising

I found this dealer on the Hyundai website and on Kelly's Blue Book. I was impressed that in February, they were not charging a "market adjustment" price add on, and the customer reviews were positive. I was all set on the car I wanted, an Ioniq 5 SEL AWD in Teal, which they had on the lot. I went through the process, filled out a quick form on KBB to have the dealer contact me. I was ready to buy, did not need a test drive, and wanted to lock in the price, and was willing to do so on the phone with a credit card. I was ready to drive the 200 miles if necessary to complete the transaction in person. I also let them know that I would not be trading in a vehicle, since Carvana had made me an offer I just couldn't match with any dealership. After a few unreturned phone calls and a couple of hang-ups, I finally got a sales "manager" on the phone who told me he would not sell the car to me. His reasons were the following - since I was not local he would not benefit from the service revenue, since I was paying cash, he would not benefit from the kickback from the financing company, and he was afraid that I would flip the car as soon as I bought it, given the tight market. I informed him that we were a retired couple and didn't need/want financing, and the notion that I would flip a car to someone who would not be able to take advantage of state and federal incentives being offered to original buyers just made no sense. Besides, even if I were to flip the car what business was it of his? Anyway, later that day, I visited a Hyundai dealer in College Park MD that wanted my money and was more than happy to sell me the car, so we bought it from them - without the nonsense. Very unfortunate experience. I've never had any salesperson flatly reject a $55K offer, with a cashier's check to back it up.

Car Shopping

I came here knowing what I was looking for but not sure how I could make it work. Bob Kutz was super friendly and very patient through the entire process even while having to run back n forth to get answers to the 100 questions the entire time and I got to drive off with the exact car I wanted! Very happy with my experience.

Great dealership. Shopping for a new Palisade and they were actually hard to find locally. Took them a week but they found exactly the car we were looking for. Price was better than all the other dealers. Austin was great to work with and very responsive to questions about all the "high tech" features on this ride.
