Have it checked out by third party before buying!!
I recently bought a Toyota Tundra from these guys. They were easy to deal with in the beginning. They had told me that the vehicle had been gone through by the mechanics. Within a week had to replace tie rod ends, rear main seal, smog pump, and reprogram the alarm, and replace alternator. I am still having issues with this truck and have only had it 70 days. Bad business!!
Hello Josh, we are very sorry to hear you had problems with your Toyota Tundra. Unfortunately, the secondary air injection pump is the single most common problem with Toyota Tundra's and is a manufacturer defect that Toyota issued a Nationwide Warranty extension on. Sadly Toyota did not communicate this warranty extension very well and most customers did not know they could have the issue fixed for free thus leaving thousands of Tundra's with faulty pumps or Valves. We fix every single pump that has an issue that we know about and unfortunately cannot do repairs if we do not know of the issue. It is disappointing to hear your alternator failed because it was working perfectly while in our possession and when you were sold the truck. Mechanical parts do fail in the future and we unfortunately have no way of knowing what parts will fail in the future. We did send you a check after the sale for the cost of the tie rod repair if you recall. We have sold over 300 Toyota Tundra's and Zero of them have ever needed a rear main seal. I suspect you ran into an unscrupulous mechanic who sold you a repair that is incredibly profitable for the shop and it was not actually needed. Had you actually called us to discuss these issues we would have treated you with the upmost level of respect and professionalism and would have taken care of you. However, if you do not call us there is no way for us to read your mind or determine whether you are being taken advantage of by a bad mechanic. We have incredible respect for Toyota Tundra's and while you have had some bad parts in the past we are confident this truck will treat you very well in the future. Best wishes
Epic does not allow independent inspections or a money back guarantee. This is very shady! I'm supposed to take Epic's word that a car is in good shape even though they don't stand behind their cars with any type of limited money back guarantee? If they are so sure about the condition of their cars then they should have no problem with me having an independent inspection done. This dealership is SHADY, I would never buy a car from them.
I am very sorry you had a bad experience with a different car dealership but it DEFINITELY WAS NOT Epic Autos. We always allow independent inspections and are happy to allow any customer to take one of our vehicles for an inspection. It is very easy to confuse dealerships when shopping for used cars all day. If we can help you please don't hesitate to give us a call.
I am overwhelmingly pleased with my experience at Epic Autos. They were incredibly genuine people who pride themselves in service, and quality used cars. There wasn't a single car on the lot that didn't look well taken care of. I purchased a Toyota Rav4, and couldn't be more satisfied with the price, and the education I received on the vehicle.
I just purchased my second vehicle from Travis. Could not be happier with the entire process. I saw the vehicle on the website and made a deal sight unseen. The car is nicer than I expected. I flew to Denver picked the car up and it drove great. This car is perfect. You might see a negative review that someone posing as me wrote on my previous purchase. That review is false. The truck I bought did not have a check engine light on when I bought it. The light came on after 400 about 400 miles. Travis made sure the truck was fixed and I was happy with it or I would not have bought a second vehicle from him.
I am very happy with the service provided. When we encountered a problem, Travis did everything to make it right, and went above and beyond to help us out. He exceeded expectations and did way more than he had to!
Like finding a four-leafed clover
After months not finding any good deals searching sales by owners, I went against my normal policy and started looking at dealer- owned cars. I found a Toyota I liked with Epic Autos, and was pleased to discover it was better than advertised. I made my deal with Travis, who was easy to talk to, and honest about the vehicle. He was also very informed, and VERY helpful with all details in the transaction. Its been a month since I bought this vehicle, and I have not had a moment of buyer's remorse! I love the car, loved the buying process. I'll go there again for my next vehicle
All around easy to deal with, very friendly, and made the buying experience relaxed. Bought a used Lexus for my son's 1st car. Travis answered all of my sons questions and really made him feel comfortable about buying this car.
We will never buy another used car from anyone but from Travis and his team. We were in need of a used car for my college daughter. Not only did they find a car in our price point, but went above and beyond in order to ensure that it met all of our expectations. Just remember when you purchase a car from a traditional OEM dealer, that you are paying more for the 'brick and mortar' and overhead that is associated with such complex's. If you want to get the best deal, buy from Epic.
Land cruiser and GX470
just purchased my second vehicle from Travis. He is a pleasure to do business with and we couldn't be happier with the vehicles we have purchased from Epic.
I have had a check engine light on since the day I bought my pickup From him and received no help in this issue. It's pretty xxxx sad that I buy a pickup and have to spend $400 dollars the next day getting it fixed
