TLDR: Good price. Read review for further details

Started a nationwide search for a new 2016 Genesis sedan. Narrowed it down to a few dealers nationwide based on response and price. A car is a fungible commodity, so treat it as such if you want the best price. Barnes Hyundai was one of the top five on the price front, but proved to be a difficult to get in touch over phone until I got hold of Kaylee Dodson put me in touch with Joe Washington and it went smooth from there. Joe's gain was the loss of the sales folks who handled it previously. If you want to buy from BC Hyundai, Joe is your man. We worked on the price over phone and once Joe's quote fell within my intended price range inclusive of the cost of getting it to Dallas, it was question of figuring out between the top three. Based on the excessive price quoted for shipping, I chose the fly and pick up option. BC being close enough to drive back overnight was my first choice. Flew to Memphis and was picked up at the airport and driven over. Took the car for a test ride and concluded the transaction. Missed a critical step here which ended up causing my pet peeve about the whole transaction, which otherwise was a good one. Picked up the car with a `temporary MS tag and drove back home overnight without a detailed check of the car, as I had a meeting the next day that I had to attend in Dallas. There was miscommunication with the title clerk who left the title sitting on her table for 2 weeks. Joe followed up, got to get a temporary title reissued and overnighted via Fedex. The title was sent a a few days later after contacting the title clerk and finding out that she was waiting for MS taxes to be paid on an out of state registration. A delay that could have been avoided by me picking up the title right away while there. Another item to add to the buying checklist. Pet Peeve: The vehicle prep department needs to do better than pressure wash the car outside, put on tire sealant and call it a day. The exterior wasn't waxed, the radar screen on the front grille still had caked and peeling protection film plus adhesive residue, the interior had water spots, finger prints, hand smudges, plus fine dust, and I had to detail the interior and exterior on my return, to get it to new car shine, Detailing was when I found a paint chip on the hood and the bumper which was there originally (had taken pictures all around on the BC parking lot before leaving). Had I noticed the issue at the time of purchase, I would have asked for a fix or walked out in the absence of one. I would buy again from BC Hyundai if their price was good, with the exception of avoiding the issues mentioned above.

Professional and courteous

We have purchased 5 vehicles from BCH and have been thoroughly satisfied with their friendly service and prfessionalism. We recommend them highly. Great selection of vehicles with fair prices.

Best buying experience I've ever had!!!

My salesman(Steve Owen) was great. He was able to find the car we wanted in a timely manner. After discussing the options we had, with great clarity, we were able to agree on a price. Everyone we had contact with during our visit was very courteous and helpful. We were glad to find this wonderful dealership so close to home.

Best sales lady evet

Martha was very helpful and not pushy. She listened to my wife and she asked questions that I had not thought about this was the best car buying experience I've ever had.

Second car buy

Overall good experience at the dealership. All the staff were friendly and very helpful. Time frame of buying a vehicle needs improvement. Spending 3 or 4 hours in a dealership is very overwhelming. That would be my only complaint. Thanks

AWESOME

Steve is awesome. He treated me with respect and he was very professional. He answered all my questions and addressed all my concerns. I left the dealership feeling very confident that he did all he could do for me as far as price, payment and all concerns. I'm very pleased.
