Had an easy time purchasing a 66 mustang! They made sure to keep me updated with every little detail to make the process seamless! Thanks ICC!
I took delivery about 3 weeks ago of a 70 Chevelle SS. The clock, lighter, horn, radio all did not work. To add insult to injury none of the keys worked... the door locks so I can't lock the doors. It's as if they never even looked at the car before delivering it. And I've bought from them in the past. Never again
I went in just to look and found my car I had in high school , these guys are awesome everything was perfect Thanks guys !!!
I recently purchased a 1931 Model A from Ideal Classic Cars and couldn't be happier with the car and the service. I live in Arizona and had never purchased... a car over such a long distance before . Mel guided me thru the process and I would be happy buying another car from Ideal just based on his professionalism.
From the moment they answered the phone they were polite informative and not overly pushy like some car places can be.
I bought a 66 T-Bird from them and was assured by Courtney it was in real good condition. There is a rusted out place on the fender and the under side... is full of rust. There is a hole in the trunk pan. The transmission slips in every gear and the head gasket is leaking oil. I emailed both Courtney and the owner Lombardo with no response from either. I really got burned by this dealership! Stay away from them!
I purchased a 1969 GTO convertible from Ideal Classic Cars after months of searching and literally researching over 200 cars. My short list was 18 cars,... finally narrowed to three. The car from Ideal Classic Cars did not have A/C which was one of my requirements. However, the team at Ideal told me they had used a supplier in the area to install A/C in the past with very good results. I made the purchase from Ideal with the A/C included in the deal; however since their last A/C purchase the company supplying the A/C unit had outsourced the installation to an independent shop. The A/C installation went long and returned a car that had a few loose wires in the dash. Because the A/C installation person had missed several promised dates (took nearly three weeks to do the install), the car was shipped out without the normal extensive final inspection. This was a miss by Ideal, but it was also my responsibility because I arranged the shipping and truck schedule. Because of the problems with the A/C install I received a car that was not 100%. This was my first time purchasing a car online and I was very nervous about it to begin with. I contacted Ideal about the problems and they investigated. In the end I spoke several times to Kim (office manager), Chris (general manager) and Mike (owner). They were incredibly nice and reassuring. In the end Mike did not just correct the problems, but went even further to make sure I was happy with my purchase. I can say today that I am very happy with my purchase. Purchasing a car online requires a lot of trust. After completing my purchase with Ideal Classic Cars I can say I would buy again from them without hesitation if the opportunity presented itself.
