They have great customer service!!! Most of all I love my new car!!! Great company to do business with!!
I called this dealer and asked if my mechanic could inspect the car and was told it wasn't their policy to allow that. Incredible! I suppose there are... enough suckers around to buy their cars without the proper 3rd party inspection.
"1/4 truth is a whole lie". Yes, he did call the dealership and yes...I told him of the company police ..... that's only 1/4th of the truth.....The fa...cts are: he was told it is our company policy not to take any vehicles to an outside mechanic. He could take it for a test drive and if further interested have his mechanic come to our location. HOWEVER, he was also told that we welcome and are delighted to have the best mechanic he knows come to our location. This has been our policy for more than 32 years. Interesting fact that some of our best customers are in fact the mechanics that have come here to inspect cars for other customers. More interesting, at the time of his call one of those mechanics was here doing another transaction...We welcome 3rd party inspections and encourage them for 1st time buyers and especially folks from out of town. We warranty in writing everything we sell and this car would be no exception. Also, how could he rate the buying process....he didn't even look at the car, much less buy it..... We are very concerned about our customers and their confidence in our dealership. While we feel like feedback is a gift, this is unfortunate, untrue and unfair. Thank you for your consideration.
Called to look at a vehicle posed for sale. Rob advised that he was out of town so I made an appointment to see the vehicle first thing the morning after... his return. He indicated that he would drive over an meet us at said time from their "corporate office". Upon arrival, he steered us down an alley to show us another vehicle he wanted us to see first. Once we finished looking at this vehicle, we explained that we wanted to see the vehicle we had made the appointment to see. He then advised that said vehicle was sold??? He didn't tell me this before I drove over with CA$H in hand. Typical used car salesman experience!! TOTAL WASTE OF TIME, GAS AND EFFORT!!
This is and was a complete lack of communication between me and my team. The customer is always right....and in this case...he was especially right. ... We did have an appointment for the next day. The car was sold by one of our team the night before...I didn't know it until I arrived to the office. I apologized and explained to the best of my ability. He is right an should be upset...that is no way to treat good people of good intent. We have made several changes because of this experience and have removed the person responsible for the problem. We can't fix the past, but thanks to the gentleman's feedback...we can change the future. We would like to send the gentleman a card to help express our sincere apology....unfortunately, I don't have the contact information.. Thanks for your considerations.
I wanted a vehicle that maximized the MPG along with quality. I decided to purchase a Prius or Insight. Ron assisted me with questions about the two vehicle... choices. My decision was the Prius with the help of Ron. Toyota rates very high on my list of quality vehicles. I have been extremely happy with the Prius. In the 2 1/2 months of ownership, I am getting between 42-48 mpg and the vehicle runs smooth. Ron was great!!!
Quality with as many MPG as I could get was what I was looking for. Ron at R&D Sales assisted me with the purchase of my Toyota Prius. It's been two months... and the vehicle runs great and the MPG has been between 42-48. Ron was great with providing information about my vehicle before my purchase. I would definitely work with Ron when I am ready to purchase my next vehicle.
I bought a used prius in this car dealership and the process was so smooth. No haggling and the owner ( Rob ) was very straight forward. Whatever the flows... of the used car was the dealer showed it to me.No non sense dealership. Got the car for a great price too.. below kelly blue book.
I was shopping around for a good used truck and I found one at R&D sales. Mr.Rob took the time to show me the vehicle and took me on a 30 minute test drive(stop... and go and highway) and explained to me about the features and warranties. I was so happy to find the truck I want for my business. It was within my budget. I recommend this dealer 100%. It is family owned, very honest, reasonable prices, and reliable vehicle. He truly can get you what you are looking for with no hassle.
I have known the guys at R&D for 20 years and have always found them to be fair and professional. Over the years I have bought two different Lexus from... them and both cars were outstanding. Talk to Rob for a no fuss deal.
I just called Rob at R&D sales asking if he would provide a CarFax report, and the told me "you can go buy one, they're fairly inexpensive." This car was... at the top of my list, but I place a much higher value on customer service. My thinking is if CarFax reports are so inexpensive, then why don't you provide them for potential customers?
I went to see Rob at R&D Sales about a Toyota Prius recently. The car he had was absolutely beautiful. It was exactly what I had been looking for for months... now. It was just a bit above my price-range but I was willing to stretch my budget because I was absolutely in love with this car. The test drive went smoothly, and then we went inside to talk to the guy about buying it, and that's when it went down hill. Of course, Rob felt it necessary to fill my family in on the fact that another couple had just looked at the car hours earlier and would be approaching their bank within the next couple days about buying. (This was the SECOND most annoying run-on sentence of his that night. Seriously he just kept going, giving us details about the people.) And then he requested a $500 deposit to hold the car for us !!! Where on Earth do they require a $500 deposit ?? So then my family and I stepped out of the office to talk about it for a second, and of course, the $500 deposit was NOT happening, however we were very sold on the car. Our plan was to go to the bank tomorrow (we had cash for this car as a result of totaling a previous car) and bring him a cashier's check that morning. When we went back inside to speak with him, he asked what we thought about the car, and we truthfully said that we like it all except the $500 deposit. I suppose this comment was not what he wanted to hear, and he raised his voice at us and said something along the lines of Well, why don't you just pass on the car since you can't afford it and you don't want to commit to it anyway ! The guy lost his temper with us and was trying to scare us into buying ! Luckily this wasn't our first rodeo ! And I was always taught, when a child throws a temper tantrum, you should never give in. So we said Okay, no sale. And we left. I strongly suggest that no one visits Rob at R&D Sales without someone who is willing to bully back with this guy. He is incredibly pushy and mischievous. What I am most disappointed about is the fact that THE CAR WAS ABSOLUTELY PERFECT AND WE WERE MOMENTS AWAY FROM LEAVING AND PURCHASING THE CAR !
This is extremely unfortunate! No one should be treated like this, no matter what.
