A Great experience
I purchased my 2016 VW GTI from Joe and Sunday after searching for this car for more than 5 years. Not only was the car exactly what I hoped for, the dealership was exceptional; friendly, knowledgeable folks with a passion for the cars they sell. Overall, a great experience!
Shady business practices
Twice had my car serviced and both times there were ridiculous add on charges. First time I had them removed, second time was the last time.
I drove four hours to view this shop after my friend personally referred me to the owner after his purchase. NO SHOW when I got there AVOID!!
I have had an outstanding experience with Joe Verrillo and Verrillo Motor Car. I bought a 1966 Mosgreen Vette a few months ago and it has been everything Joe said it would be. The "buying experience" was top notch. Joe is an honest dealer and, let's face it, you can't say that about all dealers. Verrillo stands behind their cars -- they know their cars inside and out. And they Know Corvettes!!! Look at how many beautiful Corvettes Verrillo has. Why is that? It's because Joe and his team are Corvette "experts" not just Corvette sales people. You might find a Corvette at Verrillo costs more than some other dealer, but there is a reason for that. It's because it's worth more! It's a better car! Nobody asked me to write this review. I live in Florida and may never see Joe Verrillo again. I just wanted your readers to know it's a good place to buy a car (especially a Corvette)
Excellent service at verrillo motor car
I have one word to describe verrillo motor car company and that is concours. I sent a 1973 bloomington gold corvette that was in need of a touch up restoration in addition to a starting issue that developed over the past summer. This is when I decided to have the team at Verrillo motor car do the work. I live 2 hours north of Verrillo's in Plattsburgh New York but knowing several people up here who have purchased cars and had work done they come highly recommended. I am totally pleased I did. Paul and Carol came to pick the car up and transported it back to me. Nicest couple you would want to meet. On the way back from Verrillos they called me to ask if my driveway was clear and how the weather was because it was snowing in the mountains. I spoke with Mrs. Verrillo on the phone and she was super nice. Tom the service manager is the person I mainly dealt with. Tom answered all my questions got right back to me weather by phone or emails very professional and I am sure is a huge asset to the Verrillo team. Tom went up and above to take care or my car and is probably one of the best customer service experiences i have ever had. Tom is not at all pushy and you know the moment you talk to him that he has a passion for cars especially corvettes. He did tell me that their detailing guy had been doing this for 30 years and I can see it. These guys are magic. My car has never driven better or looked this good. Tom is a perfect fit for this business. And it was a pleasure doing business with him. I would like to thank Tom and the rest of the team at Verrillo motor car for a great experience. This is not your typical car dealer. I am very impressed and the rates are reasonable as well. I would not hesitate buying, restoring or consigning with this fine establishment. I wish all businesses were run as well as Verrillos

1963 C2 Corvette
I bought a car from Verrillo Motor Cars in February of 2022 and am very pleased with the whole experience. Everything was as it should be from the moment I walked in the showroom door until the car was delivered to me. It is the first time I have owned a C2 corvette, and I would buy from Joe again.
Terrific Experiences with Verrillo Motor Cars, Inc
I've done 5 deals with Joe; '72 BB Stingray Convertible, '63 SB Sting Ray Convertible, '67 SB Sting Ray Convertible, '71 LT1 Stingray Coupe and Joe sold my '21 Convertible. Joe and Sunday, as well as their entire team have always worked hard to ensure that I was well taken care of. A few of the issues that I've had with a couple of the cars became non-events, as Joe took care of them, even after I'd taken delivery. All five of these transactions have been within the last two years. I've owned 15 Corvettes and dealt with a number of organizations to purchase cars, parts, documents, etc. I enjoy working with Joe and Sunday and their team members. They've taken the time to get to know me from 2,000 miles away and they work to provide me with what I need and want. Thank you.

UNRELIABLE CAR TRADER.
On 30/10 I saw on the website a 1981 Corvette bicolor for the price of $29,999 plus $499 service and reconditioning fee. I sent an email with questions and on 31/10 I got answers, but some questions were not confirmed. On 1/11 and 2/11 I sent other emails. Although I didn’t get a response to the emails, I made an offer on 3/11 of $29,000 including the $499 service and reconditioning fee. The same day Joe wrote me that if I am prepared to pay $29,000 today, he wanted to sell the car. He had now also send a link to a video of the car I had asked for several times. Unfortunately not with running engine that I asked for. I replied that I want to buy the car and that he has to send a sales contract. I also wrote that I am abroad and can’t pay now but want to make a deposit. Joe didn’t reply after this. On 4/11 I sent 2 more emails, but got no response. On 5/11 I called the company and asked for Joe. I was told that Joe has been home since 3/11 due to his sick dog. Because his dog is sick, he can’t answer emails? What a bad excuse is that. Later I received an email from Joe with his phone number. I called him and he said he forgot to tell me that the heating core needed to be replaced. Now I suddenly had to pay $29,000 plus $499 service and reconditioning fee and this is including a new heating core but without replacement. With replacement the car would cost $29,999 plus $499 service and reconditioning fee. I told him this is not fair business because he agreed to my offer already and I told him that I am not interested anymore. On 6/11 I sent Joe an email about this incorrect behavior. In a response to the email he apologized and offered the car now for $29,499 including replacement of the heating core. He also wrote that they have been in the corvette business for 42 years & run our business honest & the highest integrity. He has written and told me this many times. The same goes for the good reviews he referred often. It’s all sales pitch. Joe called me on 8/11 and he also made another video with running engine. Although I really didn’t want to do business anymore, I agreed by email on 10/11 to the price of $29,499. Because he has not kept to the agreements before and I didn’t trust him anymore, I wanted to have mentioned in the contract that the car is 100% original, matching numbers, a one owner car, original paint, etc. He has also previously promised a complete service and a 100% good car and I asked for an invoice with all work performed on the car and all replaced parts. If he agreed to these conditions we would have a deal I wrote him. Joe hasn’t responded to this email. On 19/11 I wrote Joe that I understand that he does not want to sell the car to me because I didn’t get a contract. His answer was that my long list of expectations was a bit much. I’d love to sell you the car & earn your business. Your list is a lot. All the best. That’s how he handled things. If he doesn’t want to include his promises and confirmations in the contract, then things are not right. This is the way Joe does business. NOT honest, NOT highest integrity, UNRELIABLE, NOT fulfilling agreements and NOT answering all emails and questions. I am very disappointed in you Joe. This is my first experience with an American car dealer and a very bad one. Is this the American way of doing business? You are the person who doesn’t make America great again. You should be ashamed to do business like this. I wouldn’t be surprised if he responds to this review with incorrect facts.
