Excellent Experience From Start to Finish!

This is the first time I can honestly say that the purchase of car was a great experience. From the initial phone call from Melissa to the sit-down with the Salesman, Christian Russell to the financing piece with Rob and Lucas, the overall experience went extremely well. I especially appreciated the transparency with the cost of the vehicle and our trade-in value. Every one of the staff my wife and I met were friendly, courteous and professional. Highly recommend Hyundai on Perryville.

Go Elsewhere

Unacceptable service department. 5 to 6 weeks for an engine repair. They won't give you a loaner and will chastise you if you didn't buy your car there which is non of their business. Rude is an understatement. Sales manager told me you have to drop off the car to get in the 5 to 6 week que for a warranty repair. I told him twice I would have the car there on a specific day and then says I showed up without an appointment. So dishonest. Save yourself the headache as they have a monopoly on the Hyundai market in Rockford so they can treat you any way they like. Is that what the customer deserves? Their service department thinks so.

Marcia, You called ahead and we explained the process and that we don't have any loaner vehicles available at the moment, you came in anyway. The back log is due to a corporate issue, not the dealership's issue. Have you contacted the Hyundai dealership where you purchased your vehicles? Maybe they have a loaner vehicle available for you? Perryville Bait 'n Switch Victim

Like to pay double for your repairs? Then Hyundai on Perryville is the right place. I moved to Rockford two years ago from Elgin. I receive coupons regularly from the Elgin dealership at significantly lower prices but Perryville won't honor them. For major repairs (timing belt, carbon canister) the price difference has been $200 to $400 dollars less at Elgin!! Well worth the drive. In addition, Perryville Hyundai uses the "bait and switch" scheme on their customers. On Monday they took down my warranty info and called to confirm my warranty coverage. I was told my out-of-pocket for the $800 repair is $100 (same job quoted in Elgin without warranty is $400). The part was ordered, service scheduled on Thursday same week. Thursday morning I'm told there is a price switch and my repair (with warranty) is now $400 - FOUR TIMES MY QUOTED PRICE!! If I don't get the work done with them I'm charged a re-stock fee + labor of a few hundred dollars. GOT CHA! You have to pay to take your car elsewhere or pay four times the quoted price if they do the work. Don't waste your breathe on the Service Manager, there is no responsibility taken for misquoting your job. After all they have your car held hostage! You have to pay the price increase or pay to get it back with no service completed. Win/win for the dealership and lose/lose for you! If you still want service a Perryville Hyundai, get your quotes in writing and throw a few hundred dollars in the trash - same thing.

Helpful and Knowledgable

Top Notch Experience!!!

We had a wonderful experience in purchasing our new 2017 Santa Fe Sport. From the test drive to the closing process and financing we were very pleased with the knowledge and effort of everyone. Our sales associate Jim Scheidt was awesome at explaining the SUVs many advantages and safety features. No pressure and a lot of patience. The deal was excellent as well with the effort given in finding the car outside of the dealership. We were sold, needless to say. Kudos to everyone at Hyundai of Rockford, IL

I couldn't have asked for better service!

I'd like to thank Dillon, Tom, Edgar, and the rest of the staff for the great experience they provided me. I needed a car on a very short notice and Dillon was not only able to not only find me a great car that I love but was also able to work with my less than stellar financial situation and get me a great deal. The finance manager Edgar even showed me credit cards I'd be eligible for to help me build my credit.

Our new Truck!!

We'd been looking around for a little while, when we were told to check online. Our search brought us to Hyundai on Perryville. We were there a few minutes when Brad Fewerda came over to talk to us. We took a test drive, and went back inside to talk. Unfortunately we didn't have a lot of time that day, Brad was understanding, no pressure, no hard sell. So we found out when he'd be in and went back to talk. Brad worked with us. We're very happy with our new truck. Very friendly, honest dealership. If your looking for a truck, car, SUV, go see Brad at Hyundai on Perryville.
