Buying a vehicle here is risky. This dealership engages in unfair practices while selling mandatory expensive add-ons such as their Kahu vehicle tracking... system. To date my truck still has problems that are unresolved that I will now have to go to a different dealer to get help with. The truck itself is fine it's just what these clowns installed that doesn't work right. I would not trust these guys to change the oil. Also, good luck trying to effectively communicate with the GM.
On a state wide search for a specific Jeep in a specific color and set up, I found it nearly 300 miles away from me at this Mac Haik in Houston. With this... new way to buy online I assumed it would bypass the whole BS of dealing with a salesman and the long waits with that good old back and fourth that one would normally experience at the Steelership. Not at all. Not online at all! Not only do you still have to deal with BS but they claim they are too busy because the dealer is full. So I’m on the phone ready to purchase, what difference does it make if I am in the dealer in person or over the phone? For them you on the phone have no turn and they think you just gonna sit by the phone all day waiting for them. I got rid of the 1st rude and disrespectful salesman and then requested another one. It started well, I explained and he said he would get it done and have the vehicle ready for me to pick it up in a couple of days. What ? I haven’t seen a single number, and I want to get this done now! So after some back and fourth of him trying to again, set me aside to help someone there, he said he would get the numbers. Surprisingly he called back within 10 minutes but the numbers were off. Almost $3k off. Then going over the numbers he throws in some package with this and that yadda yadda, só I said no thanks. I don’t want that package. He had the audacity to tell me it’s mandatory! Haha make me laugh. Does this salesman live in China? Mandatory? I don’t have to buy anything I don’t want to buy. He said it’s in the fine print. I asked him to direct me to this fine print, no where to be found on their website. In other words, a scam!! They have the price of the vehicle, the rebates and fine print about rebates and stuff. O thing mentioning anything about a mandatory BS package with a bunch of stuff I don’t want. I asked to speak with a manager, but he wouldn’t transfer me. He said he would ask the manager, I don’t believe for one second he did. He picked up the phone said the manager said no and wished me a nice day and hung up the phone. What a bunch of unprofessional xxxxxx.
Watch out for the fees!! I made an online inquiry to confirm availability and set up appointment to come and purchase a jeep. I asked about rebates... and financing then asked what fees other than true TTL would i be surprised with by finance manager. line went quiet... then I was told of $2900 cost for wheel locks, nitrogen in tires, security tracker, and tinted windows.... all non negotiable..... don't be fooled by their misleading online prices!!!
I previously wrote a bad review based on the experiences I had a this location. But I have to say, they have done absolutely everything to make up for... my bad experiences! I understand mistakes happen and today I am pleased to say Brian Cole and his team have been amazing. He is very understanding and has a great heart. I am beyond thankful for the way he handled my truck’s service and everything he did to make my experience better. Thank you!
Thank you so much for trusting us and allowing us to make it up to you. We're glad to hear that Brian has been taking care of this matter. We apprecia...te your feedback!
While the purchasing of our 2019 Ram 2500 limited truck went smooth, everything after has been a disaster. Purchased an aftermarket alarm and floor mats... from the dealership and it took a week to get my truck back. It was only supposed to take a day. The aftermarket guy, Aladdin kept telling me they were working on it and working "feeverishly" to get it done, only to call me 5 days later to tell me he was having trouble securing the parts. We received an alternative and it was ready the day after that discussion. when I went to pick up the truck, my floor mats were locked up and no one could get to them. I had to drive back to the dealership the following day to pick them up. Now I notice a small cut in the roof lining by the sunroof that I know we didn't do and the best they can say is they will go half. I can't get their finance guy Sultan to contact me either to provide the information on the extended warranty, service contract, and windshield guarantee I purchased as well. It's sad. As much money as I spent on the truck, they no longer care because they have their money. I highly suggest looking elsewhere if you can!!!
Sandra - We truly care about our customers and I'm sorry that this hasn't been the impression we've made. I'd like to see what I can do to help addres...s the issues you've mentioned here. I'm going to look for your contact information, but please consider giving me a call so we can talk this through. Thank you, Will LaGrange - General Manager - 713-538-2700
Purchased used car through Employee Car buying program. Waiting over two months for the title to find out they sold me a stolen car and did not disclose... it, this is devastating which makes my original disappointment about their promise to call and fix a ding on the car the week after purchase NEVER did seem minor. Unethical, do not stand by good service and they will do anything to get a sale including lie -no follow through - report them.
This is shocking to read and not at all how I run my business. I certainly need to look into what happened here, but without your name I won't be able... to. Please give me a call at your earliest convenience. Thank you, Will LaGrange - General Manager - 713-538-2700
This dealership is extremely unethical and unorganized. I was lied to and I got my car back in pieces. The service drive told me a major part was broken... when it was fine and the sales department ran my credit over a dozen times without telling me the price of the vehicle and lied to me for three hours and then blamed me. I had my car towed to the dealership after it overheated, meaning I could not drive it out of the dealership. I was told upon having a diagnostic performed that the thermostat had blown and that the radiator also had cracked due to the pressure in my engine. I was told service, parts, additional fluid, and an additional routine check would run me $2,000. I dropped the car off and was told there were no loaner vehicles and that I could go to Enterprise, which would've cost me around $450 for two days. I promptly refused and Ubered home. After speaking with a service manager at the dealership I was finally offered a loaner vehicle, so I could get to work. Then, after being told that I would know what was wrong with my car that same day, since I dropped the car off before 9am, I called after work and still did not know what was wrong with my car. When they finally told me that it was my thermostat and radiator, I asked them to worked out pricing and tell me what was absolutely necessary, they still came back saying that it would cost me around $1500. In the meantime I tried to work with the sales department to look at getting into a new vehicle, since mine is getting older and has higher miles. I was then again lied to by the salesperson, who tried to con me into purchasing a new vehicle that I didn't even want! After asking for the price of a vehicle multiple times, that he was trying to get me into and I didn't even want, but was trying to get an idea of the price range, he sent me home in that vehicle and proceeded to run my credit over a dozen times! He went over my set monthly payment amount by almost $200 and then when he said he could get it down took got $15 taken off. I never wanted the car he put me in, and because he gave me that one, I lost the loaner for my car. After the sales manager started to argue with me and not fix anything or admit that his salesman had been manipulative and the pure definition of a used car salesman, I had to have my car towed away from the service drive to finally be rid of the dealership. When I fixed the thermostat myself, I found there was NOTHING wrong with the radiator. This dealership tried to charge me to replace a part that was perfectly fine and for a replacement job that cost me $50 to buy and 10 minutes to install. This dealership is despicable and I have already told as many people as I can I will never EVER have anything to do with them again and I will tell everyone I can they should avoid it like the plague.
Caitlin, We would never intentionally mislead our guests so this is very concerning to read. I can assure you that I will look into what happened here... so I can take the appropriate actions. If you are willing to discuss this with me further, please consider giving me a call. Thank you, Will LaGrange - General Manager - 713-538-2700
I have not had previous exposure to this dealership until recently. I have to say this place is a Comedy show. I can fully understand why this is such... a low rated dealership on this site and others. Last month I brought my vehicle in for a knocking noise in what seemed to be Transmission issues. The car is still on factory warranty. A week just to look at it. Another week to diagnose it. It turned out to be a bad motor mount. Another week to order a mount and get it in. Are you kidding me?? A week for a dealership to get their hands on 1 motor mount for a new model Charger. In total 20 something calendar days for a 1 hour repair. Fast forward to the week of April 8th. I dropped off the car for front end noise and a check engine light. 4 days to look at it, 2 more days to replace a small hose that was creating a vacuum leak..or so I was told. The noise in the front end was a missing bracket. I was called last Thursday and told the Service Manager was determining whether it was going to be covered because trim in the front below the car had appeared to be replaced and they suspected the car was in an accident. It has never been in an accident of any sort and there had not been any repairs from an accident. . Nonetheless if this was the determination ok and that is not a huge deal for me but what is a big deal is the total lack of communication and turtle like response and perception that they do not care. Fast forward another week, finally definitively I was informed that they will not cover this issue on warranty, but only informed me after I tracked them down after phone calls went unanswered. Were they ever going to inform me?? I would recommend to my friends and family to avoid this this dealership. This operation has no empathy for their customers. I was in the market for a new truck but this place will not be considered. If you don't believe my assessment please give them it a shot yourself. The one bright spot was David Silverstein, the Service Writer from the first visit, the guy was apologetic and offered me a loaner after the car was in the shop for about 10 days. He has good intentions and tries to take care of customers but he needs the support from this operation. I was contacted today after leaving this review and the Service Manager appeared to be only interested in this post and their reputation. If this dealership cared more about service instead of negative posts there may be no negative posts. He closed with what I interpreted to be a vailed threat to "Turn it over to Chrysler". I inferred from that he meant the Legal Department. Wow!!
I would like to apologize for your frustrating experience, we have much higher standards for our customers than this. I can assure you that I would ne...ver condone my team threatening our guests. I'm going to look into what happened here and then give you a call. Thank you for your feedback - Shaun Rackley - General Manager - 713-538-2700
From beginning to the end my sales advisor was awesome! Great friendly staff and nice clean environment. Purchased a Ram 2500 and runs great. I would refer... my fam and friends for sure.
Andrew - It makes our day to hear that from start to finish you had a successful purchasing experience! We are thrilled that you're enjoying your RAM ...2500. Thanks so much for the kind review and for referring Mac Haik Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram to your friends, we truly appreciate it.
I was looking to buy a used challenger and found one from here through cargurus. I was watching it for awhile before the price dropped from roughly 29k... to 23k. This seemed too good to be true, so I called in to make sure. It turns out the price was a "mistake", but they would still work with me and get the payments close to where they would have been. The next day I'm told the monthly payments would be almost double and the car should have been 32k, despite being listed at 29k for months. I of course said no. A couple days later I looked back at their site and the car is now listed at 28k. I cannot believe how much I was lied to.
It's our priority to deliver honest and transparent service so this is very disappointing to read. If you're willing, I'd like to learn more about you...r experience so I can address these issues myself. Please consider giving me a call. Thank you, Javier Munoz - General Sales Manager -
