Took back car after their mistake.... kept $5k deposit! Purchased a used car in April 2024 and instructed the dealership that the person that was buying the vehicle did not have a drivers license and was purcashing and financing the vehicle for another person that did have a DL. We took the car home after paperwork that was completed with a $5k deposit and they would forward the documentation, sales tax, and registration to our home state of Florida. After a few weeks of staying in Georgia, we moved back to Florida for business. The dealership put all the sales paperwork, documentation in the person''s name that did not have the DL in Florida. We could not register the car without the dealership changing the paperwork to the driver with a DL. Nissan of Athens sent two gentlemen down to pickup the car in Bradenton, FL so they could take back the car. They kept our deposit of $5k and the first month's car payment from Santander Bank ($599.00) which the payment was returned to the dealer. They have avoided our phone calls because of their mistake selling a car to an unliicensed purchaser and now we have to obtain an attorney in Georgia to get our monies back. The manager we dealt with is the stero-typical used car saleman(Eddie), same xx...different location. Use caution when purchasing here!

Wonderful experience at Nissan of Athens. Kyle was very professional and patient with my questions. He was also very knowledgeable and put me at ease with the car buying experience. Leonard in the finance department was also very professional and friendly. I highly recommend Nissan of Athens.

Great experience with Zack Mooney with initial purchase. We love our 2023 Nissan Rouge. Made appointment for 5000 service for sept 3rd. Only our second time at the dealership…..we turned into driveway as we saw sign on building “ service reception”. All doors were locked …no one in sight. Drove down the hill and went to that door. Locked. Fortunately a man came out and ask if we were looking for Nissan service and directed us to the location. . This was frustrating. Not good signage. Need to remove the old signage on other building

The sales team was fantastic more than helpful and friendly, specifically my salesman Demetrius. Overall I was having a great experience until the finance phase. When I got to the finance phase, the finance director typed my name in wrong into the paperwork then blamed me for it many times. Then he tried to pressure me into a warrant many times, even though I already turned it down. Then asked my pregnant wife a very inappropriate question. Then was quite judgmental of how my wife and I are frugal with our money and was quite vulgar in his speech. Overall our salesman Demetrius was fantastic and I would absolutely recommend him and work with him again.
