Great Place to Buy a Car
I've looked at several cars here in the last few years and they are always very good, clean well maintained cars. John S is easy to work with, honest and is a no-pressure salesman. I recently bought a 2012 Chevy Malibu and am very happy with the deal I got and with the car. There was a small issue about a week later and they took care of it - no problem. They entire experience was excellent. On the day of delivery he had all the paperwork done before I arrived and I was there less than 10 minutes. I will definitely go back for my next used car.
Fantastic experience all around!
After searching for a car from over 300 miles away, and looking for a relatively rare Audi, I stumbled upon the exact car that I was looking for! The only hitch was that I was far out of state, with a child due any day, and frustrated by financial institutions being hesitant for an out of state purchase. John, thank god for him, helped me through each step of the way. After I had finally found financing that would do what was needed, my child comes! Needless to say, I was unable to immediately go get the car, but we worked out a way to take care of that issue as well! The car is immaculate, and is everything my growing family needed! Thank you John for working so well with us in this crazy time, and for being so straightforward and honest. It was refreshing and truly appreciated more than you know.
Wheels Unlimited/Steffens - worthwhile investment!
For what it's worth, I am in my 50s and have bought about 20 cars over my lifetime. I live in NY have bought cars online/remotely from FL, CA, UT, PA, OH and MA. I'm a particular fan of 1997-2001 Lexus ES 300s so I was very interested when a 2001 Lexus ES 300 showed up on Wheels Unlimited's website. The car listed at Wheels Unlimited had only 54k miles but the price was a bit higher than I wanted to pay (having purchased more than 8 of these cars over the past 15 years, I knew what a good price was and, like every customer, I was hoping to get a better deal than what was listed on the website). Like everyone else, I tried to find customer feedback wherever I could... google, yelp, cars.com, facebook, cargurus, you name it... The fact that the overwhelming customer feedback was so good was both encouraging but also caused concern that the results might have been "scrubbed" or manipulated. The only negative comments I saw were from customers who said that the dealership was asking too much and unwilling to come down on price (no idea how much reduction they were asking, just that they were displeased with the unwillingness of the dealership to accommodate). Almost all of the responses gave high praise to John Steffens and the dealership for reasonableness and ultimate satisfaction in the transaction. Cars were listed responsibly and accurately and the prices were consistent therewith. The asking price for the 2001 Lexus ES 300 that I was interested in was significantly higher than any of the figures I could find from Kelly Blue Book, Edmunds, NADA or any other online valuation tool. From an online perspective, pictures of the car looked immaculate and the overall condition was impeccable but I have had bad deals before. I called John and asked about the car and he told me it was excellent. I believed what he said because everything about him is very professional and honest, but was still a bit apprehensive because the car was more expensive than any of the others I purchased previously. Bottom-line is that although I was apprehensive in buying an older car without seeing it first-hand, I trusted John's description and the way he worked with me to accommodate my flight into Chicago and bus ride to Valparaiso. I've never been more delighted! The car was even better than John described - truly immaculate! John is an excellent salesman and I actually trust him completely. Not only would I do this deal 1000 times out of 1000, I would actually consider commissioning him to purchase other cars for me because he truly cares about the cars he sells and the folks to whom he sells them. The fact that he did not come down on price as much as I would have liked is not a negative, it's just quite reasonable because the cars are so good. I think that they spend time selecting only a few cars that they can represent with good conscience as opposed to flooding the lot and selling a poor product from time to time. The fact that they prescreen their offerings so conscientiously makes me want to buy from them again and again - unfortunately for me, 1997-2001 Lexus ES 300s like the one I got don't come around too often. To whatever extent such customer feedback can help you in your decision, know that I sincerely loved buying this car from John/Wheels Unlimited and am stating that I believe you can trust him/them as well. Makes car buying easy!
Was looking for a fun car and saw Tbird convertible on lot. John, the manager, gave us the background of the car and sent us on a test drive. Not sure at first, but was a pleasurable, non-pressure experience. Returned and bought car. It had a minor issue which was taken care of by their own service department. Pleased with the car and the dealership. We have bought several cars there and have sent our friends.
I am not a person to buy a car from a stand alone car lot, but driving by Wheels Unlimited we noticed a shiny red Camaro convertible that we had been looking for. We stop, and out comes John, tells us about the car, who owned it, and the asking price. He gave us the keys, not knowing us from Adam, take it for a drive. The car was everything he said, and gave us a very fair deal. I had never dealt with a more professional car salesman than John. His friendliness, honesty, and willingness to make it a pleasant experience was truly amazing. Without a doubt if I am looking for a used automobile, John would be the first person I’d call.
Great Buying Experience
Had been shopping for a used Toyota Tundra for a few weeks. The prices were so high on the used models I started shopping for new 2018’s & just happened to see a 2018 at Wheels Unlimited w/ 5,500 miles for a great price. Figured it was too good to be true but drove up the next day to check it out & was thrilled to find the truck was exactly as described in the ad. I dealt with John who is the general manager. He was very friendly, knowledgeable & no pressure. I noticed that all of the vehicles on their lot are very clean & good quality. They will even work with you to find the vehicle you want if they don’t have it. I got a great deal on the truck I wanted & will happily buy from them again in the future. I would highly recommend Wheels Unlimited to anyone.

Putchased car from online ad dealing with John who walked me thru the process. He was very straightforward in honestly describing the car and willingly sent me additional pictures I requested. I flew from Virginia as I trusted John's description of the car. It was exactly as he promised and performed flawlessly on my drive back to Virginia. The entire experience could not have gone better.

My name is Jeff. I had been looking for a 2010-B-5-blue Challenger with an automatic locally for almost a year in NJ when I got fed up and took kind of a leap of faith with Wheels Unlimited. I dealt with the manager John and was assured of the car's condition. I called a local car carrier and arranged pick up and delivery. When the car arrived one week later, it was exactly as John had described it. I couldn't be happier! It was a pleasure dealing with John. I bugged him with phone calls everyday leading up to the delivery day, and he was always pleasant and patient. If you are looking to buy a car and find it at Wheels Unlimited but don't live in the area, have no fear! They are professional, courteous, and the price of my car was reasonable.
