Just don’t…

Never leave better than you went in here… more was wrong or incomplete with our Kia after we left each time from service. They even crashed our car into their door so had to stay another few days to get fixed. Never washed our car or offered rides while we waited and the manager was a xxxxx about making us pay full price for the service and parts that weren’t a fix

Worst dealership in Fargo

Worst experience ever, brought my vehicle in to get lifter repairs done under a warranty contract that I had.. first after an hour diagnose, was told by the service writer and the tech personally not to bother repairing... they all do it... told them it was a new motor and I want it done... so they called warranty got it covered for all the lifter, not just the passenger side that had the issues.. doing both sides they say... well after the repair and on the test drive, they valves cames apart on the drives side head and shaved and ruined my lifter, broke a spring, lost both keepers to the valve... sent metal shaving thru my motor, thru my oil pump, all on a test drive... I called and was told by the service writer what happened, looking into a new motor or seeing if it can be fixed... then was told by the service manager that my vehicle never left the shop, broke apart when he started the engine. Well being a mechanic myself I asked if they found all the pieces that broke and were missing, they said they found a keeper and part of a spring, asked if they were going to pull they oil pan to clean out the metal shavings, was told no.. had to have a meeting with both managers to get the oil pan off and cleaned if they repaired the vehicle. Well because I had a new motor installed the part they ordered was different and needed me to call and get them the correct part.. that warranty company after I told what happened said that they would just replace the engine due to warranty ending in 5 months and that the engine has metal shavings in it now that I would run into issues and probably would happen after the warranty was up so have them install the motor and we will send a free replacement under warranty. Well they would not install the motor for free to get them out of their issue, insisted on that warranty company to pay for that install as well.... so after 2 months of not having my vehicle I get it back.. check engine light on withing a day, after checking it out the wiring harness for the transmission and oxygen sensors melting on my exhaust manifold, not enough oil put in it, not even on the dipstick and the dipstick tube not even bolted to the engine, just dangling free.... joe was a ruid, no compassion for what I had to go thru, what I found after getting my vehicle back and having to argue back and forth took money off the repair.. so few months later exhaust manifolds leaking, open the hood and finding nuts falling off the exhaust, call them up and said come on in, we will tighten them up, I told them after the gasket is blown out needs to be replaced, said they wouldn't not do it, so I replaced them myself, while doing the manifolds I find that the starter was loose ready to fall off.. so few months after that start hearing a whistling noise coming from the engine transmission area.. called and talked to Joe the store manager personally and told him what was going on, still have a warranty, I do not know if it is something they did wrong or if something new is going on and he said he would look into it and call me back... never did, so took it to another shop, said it was the transmission making the noise, it wasn't its the motor... but when he took the transmission out, he was missing bell housing bolts, starter bolt was missing and when I tightened the starter back down i just tightened the bolts that were there... so after learning that and talking to my warranty company and finding out that lunde sent in and got paid on the lifter replacement that failed and ruined my engine and also got paid for installing the new motor as well.. and best part is no one at the dealership will let you get a hold of the owner to talk.. both Managers Scott and Joe are the worst people I have ever encountered at a dealership, from working at a dealership and being the person who handles these situations, this post should have not been posted but after they won't own up to their mechanics mistakes.

Needed new vehicle

We had never owned a KIA vehicle previously but in January 2021 we purchased a "new to us" 2018 Sportage. This dealership and KIA had been recommended to us by friends and family. We loved the Sportage, had everything on it and loved the way it drove. Unfortunately, only about 5 weeks after having it I was T-bined when someone ran a red light. When I realized what had happened I cried not only for myself at first but for our vehicle. But, I walked away from the accident. Some of these reflections are hindsight as you don't realize it at the time. I was shaken up, yes, but safe. I felt very safe and protected. The driver's side curtain airbag deployed and saved me from hitting the window. My seat belt and shoulder harness were very tight and the headrest protected my head. The next days were busy filled with insurance/ reports and all that goes into something like this. But we had great help from the KIA finance staff, we had put gap insurance on and they and the company assisted with everything. We knew we wanted another KIA Sportage and had also contacted our sales person, Matt to start looking for us. This past week we drove off the lot in our beautiful new 2021 Sportage. It has all the great features of the one we lost and more, it comes with a feeling of safety for us driving it and being passengers. So grateful to be working with this dealership!

100/10 experience!

I went to Lunde looking for a new car and Caleb took really good care of me and was super helpful. Everyone was super nice and greeted me warmly. The communication was awesome and I would definitely recommend anyone looking for a new car to go to Lunde and asks for Caleb :)

Best dealership we've dealt with, hands down!

We just bought our third new vehicle at Kia of Fargo. It's like the Cheers bar of car dealerships. Everyone knows us by name, we chat about our lives and families and buying the car seems incidental. Mike, Kelsey, Joe and Ethan teamed up to get things done for us amidst a packed sales floor. It is always an easy, enjoyable experience. The service department has been fabulous in the rare occasions (3 in 8 years between 3 cars) we've had a problem, and also for routine service. There are no adequate words to express my satisfaction.

KIA of Fargo

Service was great with a female changing the oil and working with customers in a very courteous manner. Helpful and spoke in easy to understand language without the use of technical jargon that laymen find hard to understand at times. I would recommend this place of business!

Nice car, good deal, best experience!

My wife and I have purchased numerous vehicles from dealerships over the years and this is by far our best experience. Mustafa Akhtar was knowledgeable, thorough, engaging and genuine. We truly felt that Mustafa and the entire Lunde staff had our best interests in mind. Lunde knows the secret of business; customer satisfaction.

Horrible service department

Horrible customer service. Wrote a long Google review about my and my wife experience. This company would do anything to charge their customer for something the customer didn’t agree too.
