Horrible Cars

Purchased a vehicle from here with 95k miles on it, the car has had several issues since purchased. Seized brakes/ rotor problems, AC compressor went out (which I had to pay for out of pocket 1800+), heat still does not work in my vehicle (which they claim they replaced the heater core), there’s a gurgling sound behind my dashboard that they referred me to this shop that does not fix the issue (I’ve been there twice) and the issue still remains when I leave. Mind you I only put 2,000 miles on it....

Help!

The sales men must not want to make a sell. They wouldn't even talk to us. Too busy sitting behind their computers to even bother.

Good experience

No pressure sales approach. They would not negotiate on the price but the vehicle was priced fairly. Very easy to work with and efficient in all aspects of the sale. They even sent me the Carfax report by mail after the sale so I could review the service record.

Unhappy Shopper

Horrible experience. They didn't open on time about 20 minutes late. I was ready to buy when I was greeted with a bad attitude. I told him interest in the Nissan max but that I wanted my mechanic to take a look. He allowed me to test drive. My mechanic raised some concerns. I offered to pay a little less and told him I was really interested. He told me they don't lower the price at all and wouldn't even counter offer. The sales rep just didn't seem like he wanted me there from the beginning especially with covid19, a time when they sale less cars and see less people. I walked off disappointed that he didn't even try to make me believe he wanted to sale me the car. Horrible customer service.

Never answer the phone

They never answer the phone and don’t call back I’ve submitted an app online and still haven’t heard anything! How can u have a business and not answer the phone

Great dealer Ford F150 XLT

Everybody was great to work with . I might the owner and had a small problem . He fixed the truck I used a spare car while they fixed it and they did a great job with no hassle. I have never bought from the middle man . I was so happy with working with them.

I haven’t made a purchase yet, but will be shortly hopefully. But when i went by to see the car the customer service was great.

Northbrook Auto is Great.

I tell you the truth these guys are legit. If you don't want to get ripped off, if you want a quality car and want to deal with people who actually keep their word in this day and age, Northbrook Auto is the place for you. I recently purchased a Ford Xscape 2008 from Northbrook after my Ford Taurus was totaled( which I also brought from NBA) When I decided on the Ford Escape, I asked if I could have it looked at by my mechanic they didn't bat a eye they answered yes (I am a woman who knows nothing about car's but how to drive them.) I Loved that; first because it let me know they had nothing to hide and secondly because they fixed want was found to be in disrepair at cost. (I have to mention that I had gone to another local used car dealership and asked for the same privilege and they declined to allow me to have a mechanic look the car over.) They didnt fixed ever little thing but the important things. I could go on and on about but I'll just end with Northbrook Auto is a Quality Used Car dealership.
