A hidden treasure

Mike went above and beyond, to make my car purchase, simple and convenient. He's honest, and he's from, "the old school", so you'll get straight forward answers, like your dad/granddad. :) He has a lot of great cars, and I believe I chose the best one on the lot! I recommend this place to anyone who's looking for a nice car for a good price.

Don’t go to this place! Shady slack service

Tried to buy a used vehicle and both salesman made absolutely no effort to compromise price after multiple multiple issues with vehicle were pointed out. Zero! Really really sad. Make price final without adding to the price when problems weren’t fixed. You don’t have problems and not adjust the price. That’s ridiculous. Who does that? Very very very unprofessional! Clean up this mess and you will sell cars. Someone else got our business the same day. Your loss!! Was a total waste of time!

Ended up with a lemon

I found the exact car with all the features that I wanted at UniWorld. The purchasing process was easy, but the car ended up having issue upon issue within months of the purchase. It’s going on a year since I purchased the car, and I’ve had to spend almost 5k in repairs. The timing belt needed to be changed which I was aware; however, the other repairs were not expected. There is so much rust under this vehicle that nearly everything has gone bad. Ultimately, it falls on me for not taking it to my own mechanic to have it looked over. Originally, I felt like the dealership lied to me, and that it must’ve been wrecked but never reported because of how quickly the vehicle was falling apart. Now, after replacing part after part and seeing the condition, there is no way the dealership did not know the condition of the vehicle. Tie rod, control arms, wheel bearings, rotors, brakes were all rusted. I’m not talking about mild surface rust here. New set of tires due to uneven tire wear because of the wheel bearings, tie rod and control arm. Alignment made no difference until all of these parts were replaced. Now add the timing belt to repairs that had to be completed first due to safety issues and the fact this was the main vehicle for me and my 3 children. Yes, I was offered a warranty. No, I couldn’t afford it. Nor could I afford the car payment on top of the maintenance bill, but I made happen. Luckily, the finance company has worked with me after turning in all my repair bills. As soon as I signed the paperwork when purchasing, the salesman quickly handed me the key and said by the way the key fob doesn’t work. To purchase a new key fob to lock and unlock the doors remotely is another $120. I knew then something was off, but I didn’t go with my gut because this is the car I wanted with the options I wanted. I am still using the original key the dealership handed me because obviously the other repairs took precedent.

Horrible Experience. sold me a piece of garbage

DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS PLACE!!! I recently bought a car from this business, and the entire experience was horrible. The salesman and owner , Amad , promised me that the Mini Cooper I was interested in purchasing was in great shape. Due to Covid 19, the vehicle had to shipped to me. I paid them almost an extra $1000.00 to have the vehicle delivered to me. When the vehicle arrived, it was not in the condition that he promised it was in before I gave them my money, $10,000. When the vehicle arrived the check engine light was on, the driver side window wasn't working, and the brakes needed to be replaced. When I reached out to inform them of the condition of the vehicle Amad the owner said " We're not going to fix anything, you already bought it, good luck" . Those were his exact words. These are absolutely disgusting people that scam people out of their money. I needed a good dependable vehicle for college, and I spent all the money I had to get this vehicle. It sucks that people like this still exist.

Dealer response

First of all, my exact words were "car sold as is, you did not purchase a warranty". Second I checked the car myself fully before it was loaded on the truck and l drove it a day before. This car did not have any check engine light otherwise it would not pass the NC emission inspection. As courtesy l also scanned the car a day before and everything was fine. Window was working fine because like l said a day before l tested everything such AC, sunroof, all windows, radio....act. If brakes needed to be replaced which l really doubt because usually we check any car at our mechanic shop before we put it for sale. Remember this is a used car not a brand new one, things like that are wear & tear they need to be replaced every once in while plus l did not said we replaced them. We sold a lot of cars online that require shipping since COVID 19 and we never had any problem or issues with anyone. Finally car was sold AS IS no warranty meaning we are not responsible for anything after the car leaves our lot either from the customer or truck driver. Note: l was not going to get involve with the shipping issue but since you explained your needs over the phone l felt want to help ( after l got your shipping set up the first time you called back asking to cancel it because you were not happy about the rate even though rate was discussed before. You called back and asked to set it up again promising you would leave a good feedback) BUT THANK YOU FOR YOUR FEED BACK. Good Luck.

2012 Honda Pilot

Ahmad was extremely professional in helping me with buying my car. He explained everything thoroughly and welcomed me back with any service or repairs if ever needed in the future. I highly recommend seeing him if you need a car.
