Don't go to Dublin Mazda, avoid it at all costs!

Don't go to Dublin Mazda, avoid it at all costs! They are unprofessional and don't respect their clients. I bought a 2019 Honda civic sport hatchback from Dublin Mazda in November. I had a pre-purchase inspection done on the car but nothing wrong was reported at the time. In December I went to a Honda dealership for accessories. They pointed out that the car is missing its front bumper grille from its splash shield, exposing the internal components. Salesman Keith Morita did not mention the issue at the time of purchase. Photos Keith Morita took of the car prove that the grille was missing at the time of purchase. I notified Keith Morita about the issue. He denied knowing anything about it and said someone from the service department is going to reach out to me. No one did. He did not offer me any solutions and it became very hard to reach him despite calling him numerous times. Dublin Mazda went silent and I was worried about further damage/rusting of internal components. Since I was on the road, I had to get the car fixed at a Honda dealership in early January amid this uncertainty. I then emailed the grille hardware cost and labor charges with receipts (more than $1k) to Keith Morita. Keith Morita told me, the manager will reach out. After trying more than fifteen times for several weeks and receiving false hopes, I was finally able to speak to manager Keith (his name is also Keith). He told me I should not have had the car fixed. Manager Keith also emphatically said Keith Morita had asked me to bring the car to Dublin Mazda and they could have gotten it fixed. This is not true. They could have checked call recordings (they monitor calls) and messages between Keith Morita and me to see that Keith Morita did not offer me any solutions. In the end, manager Keith told me they could do nothing about the issue. I hoped to be treated fairly and transparently for someone buying a car for more than $20k. I have been more than accommodating regarding this issue at every step. But the evasive behavior and gaslighting on Dublin Mazda's part have been very unreasonable. It's very clear that they don't respect their customers. I would recommend other buyers to go somewhere where they will be valued.

Worst! I hope these guys get fired

This is the worst dealership out there in entire bay area for Mazda. In short I wanted to buy a new Mazda and had offers from multiple dealers. Elvis said they can beat and promised me thrice on call. When I went there surprise!!! Not even close. I decide to walk out with my friend as I have better offer from other dealer ( Fremont Mazda ), the sales person ( Ron ) comes back and shows a very good deal. We were happy to proceed and he rushes and gets my credit score run. We step into the finance part and thats were we realize instead of a 60 month he has given us for 63 months. Not only didn't he reduce the cost but working the math we found he is charging us more. Furious we decide to leave as its already 7.15 pm and we wanted a car that day. Store manager comes in talks his usual crap and reduces less than 10 dollars and says thats the best he can do else you can walk out. We were in a very tough situation personally and had to purchase the car. Car is great but this dealership sucksssss. Stay away and don't even enter their lot if you want to buy a car. I repeat beware!!!

Crooks will waste your time and try to force sale

I had a deal in writing with a salesperson that was made over email and telephone. When I had an acceptable deal, we agreed that I would meet them for paperwork and drive off. After an hour, the Elvis comes out and says that the GM is not happy with the deal and wants to add $945 to the cost. I promptly asked for the documents back that had personal financial information and signatures- the GM personally refused to give those back. STAY AWAY from these guys! I should have read the reviews. They are local to me, but there are plenty of Mazda dealers in the Bay Area. This was the worst service that I've experienced in 40 years of being a car enthusiast.

Disappointing

As soon as they found out I had poor credit they practically shoved me out of the door. I called the following Monday when THEY were supposed to call me and the guy who helped us wasn't even working. Another guy told me in a rude manner that nothing could be done. Poor customer service, snobby attitude and no car from them! Better off that way!

Terrible Customer Service - Lack of Respect

Unfortunately this dealership is a joke. They do not care about customers or their time. Setup an appointment for a test drive. Yesterday I talked with a sales rep Keith Akbar who was quick to try to close the sale on the phone. Once I drove 45 minutes to get to Dublin for the test drive today 5/5/2020 he asked me if I wanted to look at other cars. Had to pry out of him why - turns out the manager Ken has been using it for a week and it was dirty. I let Keith know I was coming by almost a day ahead of time to come look at the car. Said it would take an hour to get it ready when they made a point of setting an appointment but didn’t honor their end. Waste of time. Sad that during this time where people don’t have jobs this dealership doesn’t care for anyone's business. Keith seemed more concerned about his Saturday appointment for this vehicle than the appointment he had right in front of him. I would never buy a car from this Dealership.

Never Again!

I took my Mazda CX5 to Dublin Mazda for routine maintenance. The entire service department shut down in the middle of servicing my vehicle to have a party. No one informed me they were going to do this. The service people were too busy to help me when I arrived. They were 3 deep trying to solve a problem! Cranky service personnel should leave their problems at home!

Worst dealer ever! Stay away!

I wish I could give Dublin Mazda negative stars. The salesman named Suman Zachary and his manager Ken Harvey are crooks. They gave out empty promises that they knew they would never keep to lure you into their trap. If you think you are safe if they put their promises in writing like in a contract, you are deadly wrong. They are professional lairs and contract scam specialists. They outsmart you. They cleverly worded the contract so that the contract does not mean what it seems to mean. They intentionally used vague and ambiguous words and the contract can always be interpreted in their favor. They made sure the contract can mean anything they wish and you cannot use it to sue them or claim damages. Only lawyers specialized in business contract can find out the loopholes. Before you sign the contract, they interpret it one way. But after you have signed the contract and have paid, they interpret it the other way. They also cleverly calculated all the numbers to make sure that you will give up claiming damages if you add up legal cost. All they want is your money. However, they don't earn money the right way. They earn your money by giving you lies after lies and empty promises that they know they will never keep. As soon as they get your money out of your pocket, they will deny all responsibilities, regardless they previously gave you verbal promises or written contracts. Don't deal with this crook dealer unless you want to take your own risk. I learned my lesson the hard way. I warn all potential customers to stay away from this crook dealer. They practice dishonest business on daily basis. They will be scrutinized by Mazda and by District Attorney for fraud, and will go out of business soon. When this happens, all prepaid overpriced future service package and oil/filter change will be a total waste of your money. Save your money to buy elsewhere, unless you yourself are a lawyer so there is no legal cost to add up (there is still opportunity cost though.)

Looking For My Fav CC

They did not give the Sport Bars to me that were in the pictures online! I have asked twice with no response and I believe if that’s the way the Car appears online then that is what should be included in the Sale.

Bad Test Drive Experience

The salesman, didn?t seem very interested in taking us on a test drive. The first time we visited, they sent us back saying the AC broke and thus all salesman went home, we came back a few days later to a not so warm welcome. When the salesman pulled the car for test drive, he said it?s runnjng low on gas and thus he cannot take us for long test drive, seemed very uninterested.
