disappointing "Christian"
We visited this dealership by word of mouth through friends at church and I remain greatly disappointed. After raising four children pretty much by myself, I frequently found “professionals” who attempted to pull the wool over my eyes and deliver less than quality service. I am not saying that was the issue at this dealership, but now I always look for what is SAID to be IN the contracted terms. I asked for some wiggle room in the price of the car my daughter desired since the Carfax revealed it was purchased at auction. At first my request was ignored. When I persisted, I was offered a discount of $200.00. I researched the internet several hours and found that other retail dealers and Edmonds.com had the same car with similar features for usually $500-$800 below the asking price at JGC. When I questioned the very small discount, my salesman said we could go $1000 higher instead. I should have run then but I knew my daughter wanted the car. I work two jobs and she works second shift, and we really needed a second car fast. The next day I said I would buy if the price was reduced an additional $300, which was agreed upon. When it came time to sign the paperwork, an additional $350 was charged to me as a documenting fee. I questioned this billing and learned that by law the dealer may charge an additional fee of up to roughly $450 just to send the transfer to PennDOT. It is a negotiable item, not a law, and it takes all of ten minutes to transfer the registration to PennDOT. The dealership owner later stated they charge the fee because the profit margins are shrinking. However, after performing my online research and noting the plethora of large and small dealers in the business, I’m not sure I can believe that statement. My daughter, who was seated with me, was the victim of two accidents and two total vehicle losses within the previous 20 days. She was becoming increasingly stressed as she witnessed me question the contract and what we both perceived as defensive body language from the staff. I caved and stopped asking questions for her sake. I was told there was a three-month warranty on the car and six-month warranty on the engine. I had to ask for written details regarding the warranty. They issued an IOU for the engine warranty and telephoned two days later (after sale) to state there would be no written warranty on the engine. My daughter noticed the dealer’s folder for our car was marked “No Goodwill,” which I now understand to mean that if the car goes kaput one day after expiry of the warranty, the dealer will do nothing. And since the “warranty” was written up for three months OR only 3,000 miles, my daughter is basically without recourse from this dealer. I work with contracts for a living, and I did not expect such a hard pushback to get fair-market terms in writing. They did however offer us lots of baked PIE, literally. If you are the kind of person that takes a businessperson at their word, Christian or not, and simply agrees with what is presented, you may think these guys are fantastic. I walked in with that expectation and left feeling victimized. I hope you have a better car purchase…and buyer beware.

They use the Bible but don't follow it
I had a five prior to this but since than things have taken a turn. As I'm reading a lot of the complaints it's all the same. My husband bought me a 2017 Pacifica. Online it was listed as a 8 seater. After we submitted an application we get there and it wasn't. First lie. We get the warranty was told it was a great company and all. Well we run into transmission issues contact warranty company. Left a message then several emails. Nothing from them. So my husband took it to his work they call same thing no call back nothing. So I left a review on Facebook. The GM contacts me I gave him the details including the codes. First it's the company doesn't have any record of emails n calls. Than it's o you didn't have a good number. It was excuse after excuse. My van that I use to take our children is unsafI had a five prior to this but since than things have taken a turn. As I'm reading a lot of the complaints it's all the same. I don't trust dealerships n was hoping they would be different. Sadly they weren't. Its looks like most of the vehicles they have ,have transmission n engine issues. Go elswhere.. e n unreliable. They sold me a LEMON!!!!!!!
Ladies, please bring a skilled mechanic, boyfriend, husband so you're NOT taken advantage like I was! I was sold a lemon! John sold me a 2013 Chevy spark for $10,000. Kelly blue book day of Purchase was $6,000 (mileage was close to 100,000 miles). Yes! I'm a LOSER for knowingly overpaying for the car, but was Desperate to get out of my rental. So I purchase this xxxxx and just 1 week later, car starts to fall apart...needed new battery, 4 new tires, new wheel, spare tire, radiator. Brakes, oil change, new key, repairs to the transmission, engine light stays on, car stalls every 4 days and we still haven't figured out the problem is AND left me stranded on 6 different occasions (I have RECEIPTS FOR ALL REPAIRS). I never called AAA so much in my LIFE (6 Xs within 2 month period). This dealership got me good!!!! They got me REAL GOOD! I don't like being taken advantage of, I work really hard for my Money to be throwing it away on $5,000 in car repairs and maintenance AFTER paying a $4,500 inflated price! $15,500 total is what I paid for a 2013 Chevy spark with close to $100,000 miles. I'll N E V E R forgive this car dealership!

I thought I was buying a car from someone that I knew since she was 3 years old Elizabeth but I ended up going in and buying a $20,000 car but I financed 23,000 after putting 3500 down because in the end me thinking I knew her she said oh just sign this the show that I didn't coerce you into anything and I got to thinking about that when I got home and I started looking at my contract and guess what she definitely coerced me into over 4,000 worth of stuff I didn't know, and I'm so upset over it, so I paid 26 grand for a 20 thousand dollar car, but I'm not done showing everyone

2nd car purchase from them
I was looking around for about 3 weeks for a vehicle and just decided to stop in because I bought a vehicle from them a few years back. Instantly found the vehicle I wanted and they got started on getting me a great price. Cesar went above and beyond in getting me a great rate on financing. He was fantastic in general. If you’re looking for a used vehicle and just don’t know where to start, ask for Cesar and tell him corey told you to stop in and he will literally do anything he can for you. I will definitely be back for another vehicle.

Best dealer I've been to ever
I will not buy a car anywhere else but John's Great Cars. The experience was top notch from the time I first contact John's Great Cars until the time I waved goodbye and drove off in my new Toyota Highlander. Jim was my sales guy who was trustworthy, hardworking, and had my best interests in mind (I wanted to buy the Highlander right away but he told me to wait a few days until we are certain in had the towing package that was needed to tow safely). What kind of salesman would do that? An honest one who care about future business, not sure making a sale for the day. As for the rest of the staff...they worked together seamlessly and worked more like a family than just employees. You can tell they all like each other. Jim even has his mechanic update/detail a few things on the Highlander before I bought it without me even asking. As far as price, I didn't even want to negotiate. The vehicle was priced more than fair from the start and with the impeccable service...why would I try to talk them down? They earned and I couldn't be happier. Sincerely, thank you everybody.
