    We purchased a 2019 Pacifica Hybrid from Deery Brothers Chrysler in Iowa City on June 12, 2019. It had 2893 miles on the odometer. We asked why it was... traded in and were told that it wasn’t traded in. We assumed it was a program car or shuttle that had been owned by the dealership. The price was deeply discounted from the price of a new Pacifica Hybrid, so we decided to buy it. When we were signing the sale papers with the finance manager, the last one was the title, and it had a previous owner on it! We asked again about why it was traded. The finance manager called a sales manager, who called in the salesman who had taken it on trade (not the salesman we had dealt with.) He said it had been traded on a non-hybrid because the previous owner really wanted the Stow-and-Go seats and didn’t like the way it was so quiet when running on battery only. We decided to proceed with the purchase. About a week later, an alarm appeared in the display, “service hybrid system.” We made an appointment to have it checked. The Deery technician said that the alarm was related to the cooling system for the hybrid battery. They found no problems beyond low coolant level. They recommended that we return in a couple of weeks for a checkup. This was done on July 19, and no problems were found. In early August we traveled to North Carolina to visit friends. The alarm reappeared both days on the drive. We left the car with Fields Chrysler in Asheville for a couple of days. They consulted Chrysler and were told that the hybrid battery had been replaced at 1091 miles. They did a procedure that Chrysler recommended to fix the problem. Since then the alarm has not reappeared, although the “check engine” light was on for a while during a later trip. Upon returning home, I found out who the former owner was, and called him. He told me they traded the car when the battery failed, and not for the reasons we had been given. On August 9, I visited the dealership with the intent of speaking to the manager. I was told that he was out, and they didn’t know when he would be back. I spoke to a sales manager who heard me out, and, at my request gave me a copy of the paperwork from when the battery was replaced. Later that day, I wrote a letter to Mr. A. J. Perez, the manager of the dealership, telling him of our experience and expressing our displeasure that we had not been told the truth about the history of the car, and our concern about its reliability. It has been more than a month, and I have received no response. Any further mechanical work on this car will be done by an independent mechanic or another dealer. I will not return to Deery, and would never recommend them.

    I purchased a used vehicle from this dealership on 1/29/19. It came with a temp tag that expired in 15 days. The salesman said they would mail me the title... after they received my financing check and it cleared. Well they got the check and it cleared so they promised me last week that they would overnight me the title and my personal check that I wrote. Never received either. We contacted them and they assured us that they would overnight us another temp tag since they still haven't received the title from a different one of their dealerships. Have yet to receive that too. So I bought a $21,000 vehicle that I cannot legally drive (with no title, bill of sale, and an expired temp tag). No excuse for this type of service.

    I have just started to look for a new vehicle. My experience at Deery Brothers was wonderful. Jordan was very helpful and knowledgeable. I am looking forward... to working with him when I am ready to buy.. I will definitely recommend this dealership to my friends and family.

    The only way you get a response from this dealership (and it will be a snarky response at that) is if you leave a negative review of their business practices.... I inquired about several vehicles and never received a response. When I criticized them for it in an online review, lo and behold an unprofessional sales rep named Jeff suddenly rediscovered the Internet and keyboard to refute the review with some nonsense about the vehicle being priced "above my budget". Well, Jeff--seeing as you never bothered to return a single one of my inquiries when I was in the market for a vehicle, I'm going to go ahead and say that you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. Unless you have the power of telepathy, I fail to see how you could have any conceivable idea of whether the vehicle in question was "above my budget". However, JEFF, I don't think I'm going out on a limb when I say that quality, professional, and respectful customer service is well above YOUR pay grade. This is the kind of obnoxious, entitled behavior that Deery is famous for. I like Jeep, but I highly recommend that people interested in buying one go out of their way to avoid doing business with Deery Chrysler Jeep Dodge--I did new up buying one, but not from them. Even though it means a longer drive to find an out of town Chrysler/Jeep dealer for service, it has always been worth the peace of mind to deal with folks who have integrity.

    Salesman was excellent, finance was excellent. Its hard to complain when you show up at 4:30 the car is little bit dirty and needs fuel. But they handled... it all quite well. This was even on a Iowa Hawkeye football weekend! They have some very nice stuff on the lot, and the showroom too!. I loved looking over the selection of Trucks and especially the New Dodge Challengers! No High pressure gimmicks, just honest people making a living doing what they like to do!

    I took the car in for an oil change. I like the no appointment service that they offer on Saturday mornings. The staff is friendly and efficient. They... completed the service within a very reasonable amount of time - even tho they were quite busy. They give you a print out the inspection they did and also explained what is needed in the future. The prices are competitive and fair. The facility is clean and they have a nice lounge to use while you wait. I will definitely return for my next oil change.

    Why go anywhere else? Customer Service is outstanding. The owner is friendly and sincere. Everyone should have a boss like that! The sales department is... ready to help you find the right car/truck that fits your needs and price range. Andy is awesome! The office staff are courteous and prompt. Brian is very helpful! The Service Department is above and beyond. Brad and Devin wll make sure you understand what your vehicle needs and why. They are very courteous and honest ... they will inspect your car for any problems that may need attention now, or could wait for a while. They do a great job detailing also! Makes your car look like new again! I always feel welcome when I visit Deery Brothers. I feel like I am important to them whether or not I am there to make a purchase. Some dealers only know you when you are car shopping and then don't care afterwards. My husband and I have been buying vehicles from them for over 10 years and will continue to do so.     I took my car in to be serviced for a number of problems. The airbag light was constantly on, the engine was overheating, and the headlights occasionally... shut off while driving (yeah, it was getting pretty bad). While explaining my car's issues over the phone, I was given accurate price estimates for each repair. Once the car was brought in, they recommended a number of other tune-ups, so I ended up paying more than I hoped, but that seems to be the nature of car repair. One of the replacement parts had to be over-nighted, so the repairs weren't finished until the second day. They did offer to book a shuttle to take me to and from the dealership, if necessary. Facilities were clean and all the staff were friendly and professional.
