Best car buying experience I ever had

Picked up used Jeep Wrangler today from Sal, and I am literally writing this review an hour later. What a great experience. If you want a no pressure, honest, nice guy, this is the place for you. He worked with me on the price, had no issue holding it for me while I got the financing sorted and delivered a car I am thrilled to own. His inventory is pristine, no junk here, like I saw at many other local dealers. Thank you for a great experience, I will be back when the wife is ready to trade up!

Best car buying experience I ever had

BMW 650i Purchase Experience

A few words on my previous car buying experiences: I have purchased dozens of cars in my lifetime, ordering new cars, buying new cars off the lot, buying the occasional used car. My brother runs a large dealership down in Florida, and I?ve been around car dealers my whole life. I?ve even purchased from what should be the highest customer service shops around, like Miller Motorcars. Not once have I ever received the level of service, lack of hassle and positive experience I did from Sal at Center Motorsports. I saw a BMW 650i Convertible on Center?s website and went by to see it? told Sal I was looking at a similar car elsewhere. I explained my purchase criteria, and Sal helped me identify the differences between his and the other car- and then encouraged me go to review the other car- zero hassle, zero sales pitch, no effort to lock me in while I was there. I saw the other car again, decided I preferred Center?s. I called Sal and we agreed on a price. I offered to send him a deposit immediately ? he turned me down ? said he would hold it for me on my word. It took a few days more than I thought to close (I used a third party lender that had some issues) and he never tried to speed me up, and refused again to take a deposit. We closed the deal a few days later. I work an hour away so it was a hassle to get to Center to pickup the car. I didn?t ask, Sal just offered to have the car delivered to my house. I took him up on it- I?ve NEVER had a dealer offer to deliver a car. It got me my car days earlier than I would have been able to pick it up. No charge, I didn?t have to ask, he just offered. Simply outstanding. Not a huge thing, but telling, is that every other dealer I talked to charged `dealer fees? of $299, $399, $599, something, for the privilege of selling you their car. I think this is totally wrong- everybody has to make their margin, but they should just embed the fees in the price- it?s nothing but a mechanism to get people to agree to a price, think that?s all they will pay ? and then when they go to close, get an extra $300-$500 from them. Just like the sellers on AMZN who hope you?ll buy their product because it has the lowest price- but then they tack on $$$ in S&H and hope you either won?t notice or will feel too committed to the transaction to back out. At Center, dealer fees were a big fat $0. In case it?s not clear I recommend Sal and Center Motorsports unequivocally.

BMW M3 BnG Alvin

Wow! We found our new, (to us,) car while still in Florida. As soon as we got back up north for the summer, we called on the cars.com ad, speaking with Sal, The car was still for sale. We went over to the showroom to see the car, there meeting Sal and Tom. These gentlemen are the nicest "car guys" we've ever come across. Honest, open, friendly, knowledgeable. All good. The car, a 1998 M3 (read HOT,) BMW convertible has only 40,000 miles from new! It looks?and as a short test drive proved?drives like new. We committed to the car on the spot. The transaction went smoothy. I have been buying, selling, trading, restoring, "flipping" and up to my ears in cars for over 50 years; and never had an experience this calm, orderly, seamless and hassle free. There was no feeling of trepidation about the car, and certainly none about the two sellers. Excellent, excellent, excellent. We've had the car a short while, and love it. Sal and Tom basically "undersold" the car, which we love, because it is so much MORE than they told in the ad, or when we first spoke with them?the car continuing to please and surprise us with its condition and performance. Two people have shown enough interest that we're sure we could sell it and make money. But we love it and plan to just drive it!

Refreshing Experience

Car guys selling honest cars - a good combination. If you are expecting dealer games and high pressure tactics, then look elsewhere. Sal and Tom are two personable guys with a passion for selling good cars and making you feel comfortable. An asset to the community and the car business.

Sales experience was good enough to review

Bought an '03 Honda S2000 from Tom Para here. Was one of the best used car experiences. Not only was the vehicle in exceptional condition, Tom is one of the best sales guys that I have experienced. Was most impressed by his knowledge of my vehicle and general expertise in the auto industry. Would definitely by another sports car here.

Easiest, most pleasant, buying experience. Really.

I've been shopping for a pre-owned Saab convertible and they had one that fit my qualifications and price range. I emailed them on Sunday and got a call from Tom on Monday morning. Very polite, honest and completely un-used car-salesmen-like. The process was very trusting, old-fashioned, and sealed on a handshake. Very good people and I'd be more then happy to recommend them to anyone looking for a high end used car. You won't be disappointed, I assure you.

Honest dealership

Tom and Sal are stand up guys. I am in the process of purchasing a vehicle from them, and it has been the most comfortable and painless car buying experience that I have ever been involved in. In an industry where honesty is rare, these guys are the exception. A+++

Nice Cars

Overall a very good experience. I do think they sell high used cars. I think that their pre sale service could be better documented. It was not clear what they had done to service prior to purchase other then cosmetics.

Great Experience

I never thought I would say Great Experience about buying a used car, but I can say it about Sal and Tom at Center Motorsports. First, the car was at a great price, it was exactly as described in excellent condition and with all the options as described in their ad. Just as important, is how Sal and Tom treated me throughout the entire process. I called from Baltimore and told them I would be traveling over 200 miles to see the vehicle. They were more than helpful over the phone. When I got there they were nice, great people to talk to and very honest. I've dealt with a lot of car dealers over the years and Sal and Tom at Center Motorsports are the best!
