NEVER AGAIN

I GOT A 2013 KIA OPTIMA AND THE CAR IS A VERY NICE CAR BUT TWO WEEKS AFTER I GOT THE CAR IT STARTED SHAKING LIKE IT WAS ABOUT TO CUT OFF AND MY SON TOOK IT BACK FOR HIM TO BE TOLD THAT NOTHING WAS WRONG WITH THE CAR. NOW HERE WE ARE 8 MONTHS INTO THE CAR AND I HAD TO REPLACE A STARTER AND NOW IT NEEDS A ENGINE. WHEN THE STARTER WAS REPLACED I WAS TOLD BY THE MACHANIC THAT THERE WAS A WIRE THAT WAS NOT ATTACHED. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS GREAT BUT THEIR CARS ARE NOT WORTH THE HEADACHE. PLEASE DO YOUR HOMEWORK BEFORE GOING THERE. AND WILL BE FILING A COMPLAINT WITH THE BBB

Great team

I traveled over 500 miles to get the right car for our family. Mo and his team were great and were ready to complete the transaction when I got there so I could be on my way quickly! Great experience.

Mr. & Mrs. Terry Halsey - 2014 Cadillac Repair

Prior to bringing the car for repairs, we mentioned the car was purchased 2 months ago and is still under warranty. I explained the issues with the car and was told to bring it in the next morning to be checked out. Our daughter dropped off the car for us and at the end of the day she was told she needed to leave it over night. They started working on the car, but still incomplete. There was still no discussion of money owed..or even a phone call to me nor my wife. Our daughter asked Joe (sales office) what the cost would be and his response was "the mechanic has worked it out and there is no charge". However, upon pickup of the vehicle, there was a charge for an oil change. We did not request nor need an oil change. When my daughter refused to pay for the oil change. They told her "well you have to pay for all the service repairs then". What kind of service repair shop is this? Either its covered under the warranty or its not. Its not a guessing game. And if its not covered, why didn't we get a phone call to discuss the costs involved prior to fixing anything? Or someone should have mentioned that it was not covered from the very beginning. Talk about bad business practices. We could have saved our family the major inconvenience and had it fixed in the Poconos where we live. I am very disappointed with the service and how things were handled. Feel free to contact me, we would love to speak with someone about this issue.

Amazing employees and owner

My full review is on their website so I'll keep this short and sweet. Amazing owner and employees that treat you like family and go above and beyond for you. I'm beyond happy with my purchase and how everything was handled. Beautiful cars in impeccable condition, great prices, great selection and I'll say it again AMAZING owner and employees. I dealt with 3 specific people mainly...the owner Moe, the sales guy Alex and the finance guy Joe and all were beyond great. But i also spoke with every employee at every level there over the course of a couple weeks and theyre all extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. One of the best things about them is they don't pressure you at all or try to sell you something you dont want. They do everything in their power to get you exactly what you want at a great price and in your budget. Great prices, beautiful cars, honest, helpful and caring staff....what more could you ask for when purchasing your new car. Thank you so much Mayfair Auto Imports!!

Impressed!

In previous times, I went to another dealership and they were dishonest and I ended up with a car that had major issues. Needless to say, I was very apprehensive of Mayfair in fear of dealing with the same issue. However, my perception of this place was completely wrong! It felt like a real dealership and I felt like they were not trying to snow me over. What I saw on CarGurus is exactly what I saw when I arrived to Mayfair Imports. I was highly impressed! The car was in tip top shape and even prettier than what I viewed on the internet. Having said that, I purchased the 2014 Mercedes E350 4matic. Peter and Mr. Will really took care of me. They were most helpful, honest, and very nice to me. The next time I purchase a car, I definitely purchase another vehicle from Mayfair Imports again. To future consumers; if you are in the market for a decent used newer car with lower milage, Mayfair is definitely somewhere that you consider! I highly recommend this place! I promise that you will not be disappointed.

Best used car dealership I ever stepped into!

Was looking around true car for a good used car. Stumbled across Mayfair Imports in the Mayfair section of Philadelphia located on Frankford Ave. Was Leary about car dealerships as they are usually pushy and just tell you what you want to hear to make a sale. Well not here at Mayfair Imports. Online I saw a vehicle I was considering and they responded promptly and got me right in to check it out. From the moment I walked on their lot they were warm and welcoming. Not pushy one bit. They were all friendly and inviting made me feel at ease and completely comfortable. I felt right at home. They were knowledgeable in their field and so professional. They went above and beyond in customer service. Will greeted me with open arms and was so kind and patient in helping me set up my on star. Joe did my paperwork efficiently and effectively with no problems. Pete got me financed in no time with such professionalism and courtesy. Angela the receptionist was so kind and helpful. Everyone made me feel like family. I felt right at home. I recommend everyone who is in the market for an exceptional used car to check them out! They have a variety of exceptional used cars detailed to perfection at a reasonable rate! I'd give them more than 5 stars if I could! Thankyou Mayfair Imports for going above and beyond in customer service satisfaction! You guys rock!!!!

Professional, personable and efficient.

Got a price quote through TrueCar and received a follow-up call from Sony. Confirmed the car was available for a test drive and drove about 80 minutes to get to them. They're not your fancy dealership and that was a bit of a concern as we've purchased/leased from dealers only. That concern flew out the door as soon as we pulled in to their parking lot. The car we discussed about was waiting (it was clean and ready to go) for us to test drive. Sony greeted us at the door and set us up for the test drive. We toured the lot (small but filled with quality vehicles) and liked two other cars. We were set up to test drive both with minimal wait and fuss. After the test drives we met with Mo (the owner) and the numbers guy. The prices were pretty competitive so there wasn't room for much negotiation. They gave us a slightly lower value for our trade-in compared to the other dealers we had visited but the car we got was in excellent shape. Throughout the process everyone was polite, friendly and efficient (we were on the clock and they made the start to finish happen within 2.5 hours!). A few things to highlight here- --they provide a complimentary 6 month/6,000 mile warranty with their vehicles. The warranty is through a third party, comes with a $100 deductible and covers mostly the same items that would be covered in a certified car from a dealer. -- they're a small operation so there is little room for negotiation. However as their prices are lower than most dealers for the quality of the car they provide it works out. -- they offer financing but we didn't need to use that option so not sure how competitive the rates/options are. -- lastly their lot selection knows they understand their target demographics. For a lot with about 50-75 cars in it we were able to find 3-4 which were in our price range and comparable. We've shopped around considerably and this wasn't the case at the dealerships. So the experience was 5 stars- will follow-up this review once they've dealt with our registration and title process to see if post-buying experience is as spectacular. FOLLOW-UP- Car works fine. The registration and plates came in a couple of weeks as promised. Also adding here that the car came as is- so no mats and only one smart key- that's a cost of over $300 that I will need to add from my pocket. Small costs but please factor in before signing the dotted line.

Awesome staff

This place was great. I emailed the dealer to make sure the car was still available and they responded within 30 minutes. The staff is courteous and the whole process took about an hour and a half. Fastest car purchase I ever did and I will buy from them again. Thanks to Joe and Will.
