MIs-Leading Retailer

I purchased a jeep from this dealership a while back, and they advertised that everything was in working order. I failed to check the Air Conditioning, and when it came to summer, I found that the A/C did NOT work. I contacted them, and they indicated that they were not responsible, and that the vehicle was "as-is", but that they would cover half of the repair cost. I had it repaired, and they refused to pay, indicating that they would only cover the cost if the work was done at their in-house shop. How was I to trust that they would actually do a proper job if they were the ones who messed the A/C up in the first place? DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM! THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND LEAVE YOU "IN THE COLD" IF YOU CALL THEM ON A PROBLEM WITH THEIR SALES.

Good Experience...Love my truck!

I bought a used Infiniti SUV from Japanese Auto Sales, and unlike the other reviewer I did a little homework before I bought the vehicle. I reviewed the CarFax, shopped around, and became familiar with the model by doing a little online research. The salesperson (Jake) was great to deal with: not a phoney at all, unlike the creepy salesman at the Infiniti dealer who name-dropped "Tim" in conversation (you know, Dahle...as if I should be impressed that his name was on the building!) The truck I bought was not perfect, but it's in great shape for its age and drove better than the other four I test-drove, including the one I almost bought at the Infiniti dealer. I made fixing several defects a condition of my purchase, and when the vehicle was delivered all three issues were taken care of. Even their finance person was personable and easy to deal with. I didn't shop this dealer looking for a car; they happened to have an advertised deal on a really nice vehicle that drew me in. However, they were so low-pressure and easy to deal with that I would definitely deal with them again, and would recommend them to anyone.

Don't fall for their Consignment deal!

These guys offered to sell my Car on Consignment at no cost. I think they just wanted a car for one of their salesman to drive around. The consignment period was 30 days, at the end of the 30 days my car had not sold. When I picked it up it had cups full of soda in each of the cup holders, sticky soda dripped all over the shift console, and candy wrappers on the floor in the front and back seats. They also managed to rack up over 400 miles on it, that's 100 miles per week it was there. Not impressed, actually kind of ticked off about the whole experience!

*** DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE!!****

We had a TERRIBLE experience with this dealership. After seeing their listing of the car we had been looking for on KSL, my husband went to go see it in person. He asked the associate if there were any problems with the car and if the title was clean. The associate told him there had been no problems (accidents, etc.) and it had a clean title. So, my husband put down a deposit of $500 so that we could come back to buy it. The next day, to verify the information we had been given (which we should have done in the first place -- ALWAYS check the carfax FIRST! --) we found out this car had been in an accident and was deemed a TOTAL LOSS VEHICLE. For anyone who doesn't know what that means, basically it was totaled and would cost more to fix than what it was actually worth. After finding this out, we decided to back out of the deal because they had been dishonest about the condition of the car (after all they have the information for the carfax themselves, we got it off their listing on KSL!) We also contacted the DMV and they recommended that we not buy it either (it's a 2004 white nissan murano with tan leather interior). They are refusing to give us our money back, saying that it is non-refundable. So now we are going through the DMV and we probably won't get it back for a while. If I were you, I would not trust these people. They have been very hard to work with and we feel that they were dishonest with us by not fully disclosing the real condition of the car.
