This dealership is not your typical flashy lot with
This dealership is not your typical flashy lot with high-pressure sales tactics and hidden fees. It’s owner-operated, with a small but carefully selected inventory of 15-20 vehicles at any given time. A couple of months ago, we purchased a Kia from them, and their pricing was the most competitive in the market for a low-mileage car. The buying process was smooth and stress-free—there was no pressure to make a decision, and we were able to test drive the car multiple times before making our purchase. One thing that sets them apart is their 30-day warranty, showing that they truly stand behind the vehicles they sell. So far, our car has been running perfectly without any issues. If you’re looking for a great deal on a quality vehicle with a hassle-free experience, I highly recommend this dealership.

I was attracted by the price, like everyone else, but if
I was attracted by the price, like everyone else, but if something seems too good to be true, it probably is. I had every intention of buying the car. I meticulously reviewed the Carfax report the night before and even visited my insurance agent before stepping foot into the dealership. However, the unprofessional conduct of Mr. David left me in utter shock—yet I still wanted the car. I was aware of the reviews and thought they reflected typical salesman tactics used to secure a sale, which I expected. However, they went a step further. Mr. David casually added a $500 fee, claiming it was a charge from WestLake Financing, which he seamlessly incorporated into the car's price. When I confronted him about it, he said he would remove the fee, but if WestLake charged him after all, he would cancel the deal. What?! Would he have refunded me the extra amount he so casually added to the price if WestLake hadn't charged him? Furthermore, as he explained it, the fee would not appear on my receipt as a charge from WestLake—it was simply an increase in the price tag. It didn’t stop there. When I independently called WestLake to inquire about the terms, their helpful agent reviewed the numbers with me. The figures were entirely different from what Mr. David had told me. During his conversation with his WestLake representative, he spoke in his native language, which raised another red flag. The cherry on top was when he stated that, after my down payment, I would need to wait 48 hours to get the car. He later claimed it was for WestLake's approval. I told him about my previous experience with WestLake, accompanying a friend with a worse credit score, a lower down payment, and a more expensive car. My friend's purchase, at a different dealership, was approved instantly. Mr. David defensively claimed that no dealership could process approvals that quickly. I spent the entire day at For Less AutoHaus, from 10 AM to 3 PM. Frustrated, I left and visited the other dealership at 4 PM. There, I test-drove several cars, ran the numbers, finalized the deal with WestLake, and drove the car home by 6:30 PM. Keep your peace, trust the other peoples reviews.

Poor Execution and Follow Through
I called at 14:54, and they stated the car was available. I said, please email the carfax. The CSR stated he would within a few minutes, and I messaged that if all were good, I would deposit the vehicle to secure it. The CSR never emailed me, I called the dealer back at 16:35, and he stated it was sold.

David Shaw is a scam loser
David Shaw is a scammer at best. Stay away. Doesn’t tell you they are wrecked cars. He doesn’t do business with banks or credit unions. The reason why is not upfront and his practices are deceptive.

WARNING: Unprofessional and Deceptive Practices
For Less Autohaus is a used car lot that engaged in unprofessional conduct, deceptive practices, and displayed gender bias. The owner, David Shaw, failed to disclose that a vehicle had been in an accident, and attempted to blame the website for the lack of information. Shaw made a derogatory comment insinuating that male siblings had automotive expertise, despite the presence of a skilled female car mechanic. He also tampered with loan terms, trying to increase the APR without consent. Shaw obstructed the transaction monitor, responded with snarky remarks, and became belligerent, sarcastic, and rude when collecting personal information. The owner acted defensively and responded defiantly to negative reviews. Due to these issues, it is strongly advised to avoid For Less Autohaus for car purchases.

David is rude to customers
David Shaw is very rude and defensive on any verbal exchange you encounter with this man. I can understand about trying to make a sale and to support a business, however i feel this is not the way to go about it. Very rude.

Go somewhere else
So, I knew this was a wrecked car dealer going in, I didn't expect a perfect car. I asked 3 times for the CARFAX over 2 days and never got it. Looked at a 2019 Ford Fiesta, which ran and drove great. When it game time to discuss numbers, they wanted $3k down on a $10k car. It's been on their lot since March and I'm sure that's why. Never have I been to a dealer that asks for 33% down payment. Makes no sense. This was BEFORE checking ANY qualifications of any kind. On top of all that, their office is decrepit and unkempt. Stained walls and car parts on couches in in-use offices.
