Rick Hawkins is excellent. Straightforward, opposite of a stereotypical car salesman. Pleasure doing business with these folks. Will Patronize again in the future thanks much.
Ask for Rick
Helped a friend pick out and buy a truck at Red’s Auto & Truck. We worked with Rick Hawkins and he was refreshingly knowledgeable, professional, and polite.
Reds is the Best!
This is now the third vehicle I have bought from them. They is never any pressure to buy and they give great trade in credits toward the new vehicle. They take the time to make sure that you are getting the one you really want. If they don't have it in stock they will find it for you. I wanted a black 3500, it took about three weeks and they found one I love. Thanks
Nice facility
The facility here is awesome- clean and big. They take great care of their cars and everyone was easy to work with. Very easy and honest
I like used car shopping said no one ever!
I like used car shopping said no one ever! After looking at a ton of cars and dealing with a ton of people I ended up at Red's Auto and Truck. Mike the owner and Mike the salesman really went out of their way to answer my questions, tolerate several test drives, and handle my other requests. I found a car I liked and the sales process went smoothly. 3 days after buying the car the battery died. As-Is means just what it says so I was surprised when Red's replaced it free of charge. All in all a very good experience. I will certainly recommend them to others.
Nice enough people, but they sold me a lemon.
Nice enough people, but they sold me a lemon. Full disclosure I paid $40,000 for a 2014 Silverado with 110,000 miles. (Yes, I know I overpaid) I waited a year to write a review, so it’s not emotionally charged, just facts about my experience as a first time buyer. About a week after I bought it, all sorts of issues started to arise including electrical, mechanical, and basic maintenance that was over looked. The warranty I bought covers none of this. When I inquired what could be done they recommended me to a mechanic in Denver and to “Tell em’ Reds sent you” . There was no sort of discount or deal with this mechanic, they just wanted to make sure their name was heard. Nothing was ever resolved with the dealer. Since purchasing the truck in August of 2021 I’ve been repairing it on top of making monthly payments. It feels like a giant paper weight I’m stuck with. Im not one to leave reviews, but Ive decided this one is necessary , based on my experience doing business with Reds. Please, be warned before you buy!
Phillip, As the owner this is the first I am hearing of any issues with the truck you purchased in May of 2021 for $29.963 (not $40,000), I remember helping you on his truck when you came in. You were very satisfied and spent quite a bit of time crawling under it and checking it out. I understand things can pop up on used vehicles especially ones with 104,000 miles so I wanted to do a little research on your issues to see what was going on before responding to your review. However, I have found no declined warranty claims meaning nothing was ever submitted to them for consideration of repair. I also looked at the CARFAX to see what repairs or issues you had or were dealing with and see no services or repairs performed in the year and 5 month since you have had it, not even a oil change. We are not a giant mega Auto plex and as the owner I am always in the office and available to help, you could have just swung in or called me direct and we could have chatted, if I dont know there is an issue I can not help.
Mike, I appreciate your swift response. I am not here to split hairs or go back and forth with you. Solely to express my car buying experience with Reds. If you’d like to go with the pre tax pre warranty sticker price for arguments sake, that’s fine too. I fully understand by buying a used vehicle I assume risk. Yes, I spent some time looking it over before deciding it to be reliable vehicle. I was wrong. I called a few days after getting it back home to report some issues. I talked to a very unenthused Justin, who informed me that the service department was busy and suggested I call a shop in Denver. The shop was not affiliated with Reds and would charge full price. Essentially, I was getting the run around. I decided to end communication with your business because I was getting no where talking in circles, and my needs were just not being met. Fortunately I have the resources and ability to take on the much of the unforeseen labor, repairs and maintenance on my own. That is what I have been doing for the past year, working on a project truck. That’s also why there isn’t a history of oil changes on Carfax. But thanks for looking into that. This review is intended for those looking to buy a reliable used vehicle and don’t have the luxury, time or money to constantly be working on them.
Lexus es 350 with warranty
I bought a Lexus from Mike W. It was a low pressure buying experience. We explored the best options for my credit situation and they let me use my outside financing source. Ultimately I left happy with my purchase. I would recommend Reds solely on their solid options for aftermarket warranties. After reading through the extended warranty that I bought on my vehicle I'm very happy with the coverage level. Thank you to Mike, Mike W, and Justin for staying late for me to make this happen on a Tuesday night after a long Labor Day weekend. The car is smooth and clean. THANKS
Nick, Thank you for your business and 5 star review we appreciate it.
Mike and Stan were very professional and easy to work

Went in and checked out a car I liked, told salesman I would buy after the weekend when I received my new card on Monday in the mail for down payment (lost card, bank sent new one). Sold car out from under me over weekend without even a phone call to let me know someone else was interested so I could try and get in there. Not a good way to earn future business on anything with a new customer. Don't shop here, better options up the road, including salepeople that at least have ethics.
Poor Ethics, Slimey Sales, Bad Prices
