The salesman contacted me within a day of my request.

The salesman contacted me within a day of my request. He was very knowledgeable, extremely personable and great to work with. I went to test drive the car and was greeted with the same respect in person. The was no pressure and I felt very comfortable.

Great sales and service staff.

Great sales and service staff. Grant quickly turned around our used Lexus, did some repairs before the sale he committed to and made the whole buying process very simple. Our used car turned out to be a great buy, represented well by the sales group and ongoing support. Would look at clare auto sales and working with grant in the future.

Very rude staff

They made the buying process very quick and easy. However the car has had endless problems since it left the lot. The staff is VERY rude after the sale is complete. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Disappointing

Unfortunately, the 2010 Ford Expedition I purchased turned out to be a BIG money pit from day one. First off, the dealer would not come down at all on selling price. I was in a real bind for needing a vehicle replacement, as the frame on mine rusted and broke, as well as the sway bar mount. And, even though I was able to do research on that same year and model, and could have gotten a comparable one for less money, with less mileage, I did not have a lot of time to physically search for and test drive many vehicles, as I had to rely on someone to take me, and Clare Auto was referred me by a friend, and was fairly close to where I live. I purchased this SUV mainly because I was told by the salesman over and over that it was owned by an older couple, well cared for, etc. It looked nice, drove nicely, and is loaded to the max with all the bells and whistles. The bells and whistles weren’t nearly as important to me as having a safe, reliable vehicle. I’ve had NUMEROUS, EXPENSIVE issues with the vehicle since the day I purchased it (May/June, 2021), and I continue to have issues with it, issues that could leave me stranded. When I became severely ill with Covid last year, the vehicle wasn’t being driven, and we got a lot of rain. When I got into my vehicle several days later, I discovered a huge amount of water all over passenger seat, floor. Passenger seat ruined. There was mold growing on the seat and floor (not healthy to be breathing in). I cleaned it as best as I could. I have since had to put gorilla tape around the sunroof, and cannot use. Needs a new seal. I’m talking 3-4 inches of water. The reason I know this is because I had a small tote that I keep things in, sitting in my passenger seat, and water collected in that. Without going into all of the other numerous repairs (it is going back into the shop again this week), let’s just say I would give anything to be able to drive my 2006 Chevy Trailblazer again. I regret buying the Expedition every day. I am so sickened by my purchase. And, it has left me in tears. I dread getting into it to drive anywhere. It is so depressing. And, I fear breaking down somewhere all the time. I know it is a gamble buying a used vehicle, but my 2006 Trailblazer, which I bought brand new, didn’t have near the issues the 2010 Ford Expedition does. I do not feel safe driving it, but I know I won’t get much out of it, if I trade it in, so I’m stuck with a big, expensive xxx. It is also costing me loss of income. I usually can pick up some much needed overtime shifts at my workplace, but I’m missing out when I have to take my vehicle in to the shop every month or two. And, obviously I need the extra income to pay for car repairs. I understand that it is 12 years old, but I just can’t get a break from car repairs. Purchasing that SUV was one of the biggest mistakes of my life! I also felt very rushed by the sales associate while “closing the deal”. And, when I asked him questions, he kept saying, “well, you can just check the Carfax.” Not at all pleased with my vehicle, or buying process. Contacted dealer for the first issue, which was the catalytic converter. They replaced the one just before I bought it. But, a few days later, I had to take it to my mechanic, and was told it needed the other replaced. I called the dealership, they would not cover replacement of the other. And, it has been continuously going into the shop ever since the week I purchased it.

Terrible service

Terrible customer service. No effort! False listing that must not be for sale if you don’t want to find a way to she it. Why list it?

Horrible place

Think twice before buying from this place. They will do anything to sell a vehicle. Sold me a vehicle that they told me was not wrecked and it was. Also had a few issues with the car and they told me to bring it in and they would fix it. Well when I picked it up still had the same issues.
