Came into the dealership took look at a outlander sport.
Came into the dealership took look at a outlander sport. But someone was signing paperwork on it just as I pulled up. They had another outlander I was interested in but was out and being used to pick up another vehicle. Told me it would be back Monday. Told them about my car buying experience with another dealership with the same vehicle with the same amount of miles and trim level and that dealership was asking 1000 more and offered scrap price for my vehicle. Said that was horrible and said if I bought a brand new outlander they would give me 3000. Asked how long that deal was going on. They said until the end of the month. After thinking it over I decided to pull the trigger on the brand new 2025 outlander and that's when the games started. The one they showed me had a paint chip in the door. Brought it to there attention and they could swap the vehicle with a different one. Told them I already had a credit union lined up at 375 a month for 84 months at 6.64% intrest. They told me i had to use mitsubishi financing through them other wise it would loose the 2000 customer cash from mitsubishi even though it doesn't state this anywhere so I let them run my credit. Then they showed me the sale price out the door and it was way way different then the first one they showed me. Said they messed up by putting on there they would give me 4500 for my trade in. Then the car with with out the paint chip which was supposed to be 100 more was a couple hundred more. Even with those adjustments made there was thousands of dollars difference in the the price. Paper would say they were give me 2000 or 3000 for my trade in Then he would never actually subtract it from the sub total . Had another manager claim they gave me the 2000 customer cash twice which was a lie. Asked them why are they playing games or think im stupid. They sent me multiple sale offers doing the same thing over and over again. I eventually had enough and purchased a vehicle at a more honest dealership that didnt treat me like I was stupid who could handle simple math. If you do decide to use them so the math YOURSELF otherwise there is a extremely high chance your getting ripped off.
