Great experience at Joe Cooper Chevrolet.
Great experience at Joe Cooper Chevrolet. When I arrived I was met by the sales representative Karlie and she introduced me to Chad.He was very knowledgeable about everything. We went on a test drive where Chad demonstrated all the functions on my new Trax. He really didn't miss anything and answered any questions I had. I met with Hudson and went over all the financing details and gap coverage and I feel absolutely confident vehicle will be just fine. Thanks to all at Joe cooper Chevrolet.

We were very pleased with our experience.
We were very pleased with our experience. Chadrick was our lead salesman and he was respectful and knowledgeable. I even commented to him that I was impressed with his knowledge. He also wasn’t pushy, which I appreciated. We were happy to purchase a vehicle from a Joe Cooper dealership.

We worked with Brandon Lewis when purchasing our Blazer
We worked with Brandon Lewis when purchasing our Blazer EV. He was extremely helpful and patient when answering all of the questions we had about transitioning to a full EV. Once we decided that the vehicle was going to be compatible with our daily routine, Brandon took our deposit and again went above and beyond making sure everything would be ready to go when we arrived from Michigan. 1000 miles and 18 hours worth of driving later, I pulled into Joe Cooper Chevrolet to be greeted by Brandon as soon as I walked in. We took a quick tour of all of the amenities the dealership had to offer and then proceeded to start the paperwork for our new vehicle. While signing paperwork, Brandon was making sure to explain what every signature and initial pertained to, going into more detail whenever I asked. Once completed I sat down with the financing manager who provided me with my final rate, as well as finalizing the required paperwork. We went over and confirmed what was previously discussed with Brandon and before I knew it we were finished and ready to start heading back to Michigan. Overall this was the smoothest dealership experience I have ever had purchasing a vehicle. I never felt pressured to purchase any of the available packages or services, although they were explained in enough detail to allow me to make an informed decision. I really did appreciate the effort put into our transaction by Brandon and the rest of the staff at Joe Cooper Chevrolet. They will be my first call whenever we need to purchase a new vehicle going forward.

Donald, thank you so much for taking the time to write such a detailed and incredible review of your experience with Brandon Lewis and the team at Joe Cooper Chevrolet! We're absolutely thrilled to hear that Brandon was so helpful and patient in answering all your questions about transitioning to an EV, and that he went above and beyond to ensure everything was ready for your arrival after such a long drive from Michigan! We're also delighted that you found the paperwork process smooth and transparent, and that you never felt pressured. It means the world to us that you will call us first for your future vehicle purchases.
They claim to do a certified inspection of the vehicle
They claim to do a certified inspection of the vehicle but they don't fix anything and don't tell you what is broken and they don't even buy you a tank of gas! I guess it is just come in and buy a vehicle and get out of here! (October 2022) An Update (February 2025) on this vehicle: since October 2022 we paid roughly 24000 for it in March of 2024 was the first of 7 times that the vehicle would be in for service including having all the rear end bearings replaced then transmission wabbled so they changed the fluid and while there heard a lifter knocking so they pulled the valve cover and found a cam retaining bolt was broken so they had to replace the entire head on it. Got it back with an oil leak in the timing cover. Not long after that the vacuum pump went out and tore up the cam so all that had to be replaced then was driving down the road and the transmission would kick out of gear and the doors would unlock so they had to rebuild the transmission was about to get it back and they found out the ECM went bad so took a week to replace it. The other day I went to excelerate onto a local Hwy the nose took a dive and the lifters started screaming until the truck got up to speed and the next day the transmission sounded like it had a wave machine sloshing water around in it! The last year only about 3 months that the truck has not in the shop and the shop couldn't even be bother to call and let me know that they had the truck that was dropped off last Wednesday 6 days ago alet alone tell me what was wrong with it! Now they want to only offer $9500 so it cost a little over a 1000 a month for roughly 14 or 15 months of use out of 26

VERY DISCUSTED and DISAPOINTED.
VERY DISCUSTED and DISAPOINTED. I purchased a used Chevy Colorado Saturday afternoon (3 pm) on 18 Jan, 2025. It had 86,700 miles on it. I bought it as is without a dealer warranty. I put $3000 cash down and they found financing for the rest of the purchase price. On the way home to Tecumseh (about 10-12 miles), the engine light came on and stayed on. When I got home, I immediately called Chad (Salesman) and he said he would discuss the issue with his manager and call me back. Chad called me back a little later and told me to bring the truck in Monday morning and they would get it diagnosed to see what was wrong. I brought the truck in at 7:45 am on Monday to the service department and the service manager told me he knew nothing about me bringing in the truck. He told me I would have to wait on the used car sales manager to sort everything out. I waited until 8:45 am that morning and spoke with Jacob (Used car sales manager). He went and talked to the service department, came back and told me it would be later that afternoon before the service department could get the truck in to diagnose. He gave me a loner car to use while my truck was being worked on. All this time, they gave me the impression they would make things right and I would be taken care of. I asked both Chad and Jacob if they could delete the deal we had and pursue another truck. They both told me something could be done. I was told that the Joe Cooper Dodge dealer had a Chey Colorado that would work out and make everyone happy. I even told them if a truck was more expensive, I was ok with that. I called Chad back a few times to find out the status of the Colorado in the shop. He failed to return my call or said he was out on a test drive and would call me back. He never did. Tuesday came around and Chad and Jacob gave me the cold shoulder and runaround. The kept me on the hook all day with the thought that they would fix the truck and pay for the repairs or we would find another truck and make a deal. I called numerous times trying to get something done. Chad and Jacob just kept pulling my puppet strings and dragging things out. Finally, Tuesday afternoon, Jacob called me and informed me that the Bank had already funded the deal and I was struck with the truck and the bill that comes with it to fix the engine light problem. Here is my thought: I bought the truck on a Saturday afternoon. Monday was a holiday so the bank was closed. Tuesday, the bank funded the purchase. Why couldn't the deal be voided on Monday the Holiday and a new deal struck for a different truck. Why couldn't the just be honest and say "look Buddy, you bought the truck as is , you deal with it" They just kept delaying me because they had to wait until the Ban was open, so they could fund the deal. By the way, it cost me an additional $711 dollars to fix the truck before I could take it home. BEWARE AND DON'T PURCHASE ANY VEHICLE FROM THIS DEALER! CHAD IS A xxxx THIEF AND A CHICKEN FOR MAKING JACOB CALL ME . JACOB YOU ARE A WEAK MANAGER FOR NOT PURSUING ANOTHER DEAL OR MAKING THIS ONE RIGHT!

I was warned… I should have listened.
I was warned… I should have listened. I’m new to the area, and several people cautioned me against taking my truck to Joe Cooper in Shawnee for service. Bottom line: I paid $800 for a repair. They did not fix it. They kept putting me off to make it right, claiming they were too busy to get me in. I could not wait any longer and asked for a refund. They refused. They said I have to pay even though they did not fix it. Beware, Joe Cooper has a policy of no refunds with the credit card companies, so you cannot even dispute the charge with your credit card. Do not go to Joe Cooper in Shawnee for service. You will regret it.

I had an oil change and needed to buy a part (glovebox) for my vehicle. Setting up the appointment for the car to be serviced was easy and the person I spoke with on the phone was very courteous. I had originally ordered a glovebox from a local OKC dealership. But I called Joe Cooper and they were able to get it for half the price of the other dealership!

2023 Chevy Traverse with 16,000 miles needed the Evap
2023 Chevy Traverse with 16,000 miles needed the Evap Cannister replaced. The vehicle was under warranty but after they inspected it, I had to pay for it because they said there was a hole in it and therefor it was a road hazard and not under warranty. I kept the part to get a second opinion and if it differs, I'm going to small claims court.

where to start here bare with me bc this is gonna be a very long review! in October of 2023 I had been saving up for my dream car a H3 Hummer I found one on Facebook marketplace at Joe cooper of Shawnee. I went and test drove it and noticed a slight knock, I also asked about the tire pressure sensor that was on. I was really assured that the knock was bc they had just done an oil change and it would smooth out. waited for my title and ended up having to pay late fees bc they didn't do it in a timely matter and refused to give me another temporary tag. i had put every penny in my savings towards this car that I had dreamed of! I noticed the transmission slipping in December.By Jan my car was back at the dealership. I begged for a loaner car for three months and was constantly told that I was on the list and if one became available they would let me know. By the end of Feb, first of March I was beyond upset! they kept putring me off blaming it on the warranty company. i finally went into the dealership upset and they said they would have my car ready by that Thursday, Thursday rolls around it's still not done.Friday I went back in and was told there was a "oil leak" on the pan and it had already been approved by my warranty company. but they didn't wanna keep my car any longer than what they already had and they would put me on the list for a loaner and call me as soon as it was available. by July I still hadn't heard from them, my car was overheating and had no power they told me I was never put on the waiting list. I was beyond mad! I called Daryl Barett and told him every thing that was wrong including them slicing my underglow lights, he re assured me that he would make it right, he said he would get a hold of Jeremy Woods, the GM of that location. jeremy than called me and I explained everything including his employees leaving tools in my exhaust manifold that they said the bolts were broken off in. no response the next day the lady in the office called me and told me to come get the loaner so they could work on my Hummer. They sent me a text of what was wrong with my Hummer and everything said pre approved. Derek and I have Gone rounds and i had asked to NOT deal with him at all. Thirty days in I'm told NOTHING is approved again I fought with them after numerous lies and not returned calls I finally got a hold of Daryl Barret again and this time he had a major attitude with me. Jeremy woods called me and told me I needed to come sign another agreement I went back in and even though Jeremy knew nothing about the oil leak and he would call me back and never did the girl said that my hummer was in the shop being repaired. Another month goes by and again Derek messaged me being very obnoxious saying I needed to return the loaner and they weren't fixing anything other than the transmission dip stick I said what about my lights, what about the manifold, what about the secondary air pump valve they told me none of that was covered by my warranty, and they don't touch under glow! Again I called Jeremy and Darryl again no answer and no call back, you would think that when I'm spending 13 Grand on a car from you you would go to the ball for me and make things happen for you the valve is covered but they didn't wanna work on it! Jeremy said they fixed multiple things and didn't charge me I said what the transmission dip stick that's it!!!! I returned the loaner and was told by Jacob that I needed to get into my hummer and leave and where was the equinox. I showed him, when I got there the vehicle they knew was overheating was left running when I dropped off my hummer it had a full tank when I picked it up it was on empty! Hope they enjoyed running my gas out I hope taking advan of a single mom on disability with Parkinson's makes your heart happy! I'm glad you can afford to sit with your kids and have food to eat! HUGE DISSAPOITMENT do NOT BUY A CAR FROM THEM THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT THE MONEY IN THERE POCKETS
