Best experiences are had at this dealership. A-1 in sales and service, before, during and after. You’ll be treated like family. Not like just another $ added to their bottom line.

I have purchased my last three vehicles from Champion Buick-GMC. I also have the service department for routine maintenance. My interactions with all staff at the dealership have always been good. Champion Buick-GMC is all about service to its customers.

My wife and I purchased a 2019 Ram 1500 Limited from Champion Buick GMC in Brighton on August 25th. The buying experience itself started off great. Brad and David were friendly, genuine, and truly made us feel taken care of during a time when we really needed a vehicle. For that part of the experience, we were very appreciative. Unfortunately, the issues began after the sale. About five weeks later, the truck overheated. When I opened the hood, I found a basketball-sized nest, chewed plastic, and scratches on the washer tubing. The truck never sat idle—we drove it every day from the moment we purchased it—so this wasn’t damage that happened while the truck was “sitting,” as the dealership later claimed. I also discovered that the washer bottle, which the dealership had replaced before sale (due to leaking), was still leaking from the tubing onto the cooling-fan harness. The bottom mounting bolt wasn’t installed (leaving me vulnerable to future leaks from friction), the hoses weren’t replaced, and the corrosion caused the cooling fan to fail. I was able to get it working temporarily, but the issue returned, and we’re now stuck with an overheating truck that we’re still making payments on. What made the situation more frustrating was the lack of support when we reached out. We ran into Brad on October 25th, and he genuinely tried to help and asked us to bring the vehicle in. But when we did, Michelle decided the dealership wouldn’t touch it and had someone else deliver the message. This was disappointing after being told we would be taken care of. We also later learned the truck was sold with an outstanding recall that had been open long before we ever inquired about it. I’m leaving this review not out of anger, but to help future buyers. The sales experience was pleasant, but the post-sale support and the quality of the pre-purchase inspection left a lot to be desired. If you’re purchasing a used vehicle from here, be extremely thorough, ask questions, and inspect everything carefully.

Welcoming and efficient. Done in timeframe given and freshly washed. Great waiting area and very friendly staff. Even had a chance to visit with our salesman to see what was new for the coming year.

Warranty company forced repairs back to the dealership instead of my mechanic. Dealership did brake job before sale, never greased, they wouldn?t be accountable. Major oil leak at sale. Forced a loaner vehicle instead of a taking me home. I never used the loaner vehicle. What was suppose to be a no more than two week repair turned into a month. Why? Because they literally forgot about me. No communication. I had to call them at 2 weeks and told. Then they couldn?t find the warranty company (they sold it to me), had to prove for the second time the oil leak, ordered parts, no communication for a 26 hour repair. That turned into an another week. I contacted them on the Thursday and told it would be done Friday. Friday came and went and then told Saturday. No contact again. Monday, I?m contacted by rental manager wanting to reapprove the loaner. Um no! Find out why I haven?t gotten my car back! She is the reason I was able to pick up my car on Tuesday. Tuesday AM I drive the car off the lot only to have the engine light come back on immediately. Return to find out there is a ?crack? in the exhaust and it has to be sealed. I have my mechanic reviewing all the info in real time and they not only forgot about me, delayed the repairs, and no communication but they lied about the crack. It had to be disconnected to do the repair. So they have a mechanic working on vehicles that is not trained properly. One of the main reasons they had it another weekend was because they couldn?t get it back together! Add this to the fact I wanted a basic tuneup and oil change (at this point due to the oil leak it?s just a new filter) and they wanted to charge me full price even though a majority of the labor and tear apart was covered under the warranty. I know this because my mechanic was set to do the work and had already walked me thru it in its entirety and gave me a quote. To make things worse, this is my family?s 3rd vehicle purchased at this dealership due to my cousin working there, and she stopped talking to me when I texted her about how disappointed I was when I dropped my vehicle off at the beginning. Hopefully, she doesn?t know how fraudulent her service dept is and can play dumb. Needless to say my mechanic will be doing a once over on all the work down, because all of this scares me drive it.

Great working with Arthur in the service department. He provided accurate cost and completion time estimates. Super friendly and professional. Clean and comfortable waiting area, too.
