Write a reviewOVER $10,000 IN THE HOLE FOR A $4500 TRUCK
I bought my husband an F150 for $4500. Within a month of getting this truck it started stalling out. We are raising 4 grandkids on 1 income. I save my stimulus check and my income tax for the down payment on this truck. So when it started acting up we parked it till we could save up enough to put it in the shop. We still made our payments. Eventually we put it in the shop and paid $2000 for Cadillac converters. As soon as we got the truck back it was still running like crap so we contacted Mark and told him what had happened so far and we thought it had jumped time. The other shop had quoted us $2000 to fix. Mark said that was way to high and he would get his guys to fix it for around $1500. Mark had the truck for 5 MONTHS. He racked up over $3000 in repairs, including replacing abandoned new battery we had just bought as well as a bunch of other crap. Then he tells us his guys can't fix it and he would take it to his "ford" guy and it would cost $700 for the "part" then then labor. We felt we had no choice at this point becaise we were so far in the hole in it already. After 5 months we went to pick up the truck. It was covered in mud and had grease and oil all over the interior. They had ragged it out andput alot of miles on it. We had a huge altercation when we went to pick up the truck. We gave him anouther $400 on the $2200 Mark said we still owed. We ha e no idea where the $700 went. we asked for all reciepts which Mark did not want to give us. Reciepts were....questionalble . He was going through a huge stack of papers when we got there pulling out certain reciepts. ....we sucked it up again and said fine, we will make payments for the repairs. We have driven the truck 3 times since we got it back. It stalls going down the road, sputters while driving, dies at every stop, the oil looks like silver paint. the truck is a piece of crap and i cant even get Mark to call me back. he is holding the title till we pay for the "repairs" he did. DO NOT BUY A VEHICAL FROM MARK AT M/A AFFORDABLE MOTORS. WE ARE OVER $10000 IN THE HOLE FOR A $4500 TRUCK THAT IS COMPLETELY USELESS.

Would recommend this place only to those whom I
Would recommend this place only to those whom I absolutely hate. The woman there would NOT let us test drive until we started the process of sending a buyers order to our bank. My boyfriend is already pre approved before we even started looking. She let us at least look at the vehicle and then she and my boyfriend went into her office to start the paperwork so we could test drive and got upset that I went back to just look at the interior of the vehicle again without her standing there to keep an eye on me. When we finally test drive the vehicle (roughly 2 hours after initially arriving) she barely understood how to work the computer and kept going on and on about how she would not be able to complete the paperwork before 5 pm when the bank would close and kept blaming the bank for her own incompetence. We spent in total roughly 4 hours at this dealership and in the end when we were trying to start the buying process, our bank said she had not sent the CARFAX over for them to approve it and her words were more than unnecessary. Her exact words were “if they want it, they can pay for it their own xxxx self.” As it turns out, according to the CARFAX the vehicle was $3,500 well over its worth. This woman was unprofessional, unqualified, and just unpleasant from the moment we stepped onto the lot.

Money Pit
Bought a 2011 Chevy Cruze in September 2022 from this dealer. This vehicle has been in the shop more than on the road. I paid $7k including TT&L. I have spent about $5k in repairs. After spending almost $1,900 on repairs and the car being in the shop nearly a month, the front passenger tire fell off while driving less than a mile from the repair shop. Apparently, the lugs had rusted off. Oil leak, failed turbo (which damaged other things), busted hose, broken belt, and now rusted lugs. Not safe to drive imo, so it is not parked and unused. This guy should stick to his day job working at the plant.

There for 10 min before someone came to help. The cars look nothing like the pictures Went to look at the Infinity cars and all of them had cracked windshields as well as cracked paint jobs. When I inquired as to a lower price the lady told me if I don't like the price just leave.

2007 Mark LT
Mark provided excellent pricing and shipping. For a 13 year old truck, excellent condition. Price was several thousand under other comparable trucks. Small minor issues disclosed, truck runs great and I am pleased.

Horrible
Bought a truck from here for $7500 cash. Test drove truck in Baytown and ran fine. Got on interstate to head home (I do not live near Baytown) and the truck started acting up. I called and left a voicemail as the office was closing after we finished our deal. Received a call the following day asking about the problem and told them that I would take it to a nearby Ford dealership to get an estimate. Called them to let them know that the estimate was for $10,000 to replace the motor. I was speaking with the owner’s mother. He was sick when I called. Said she would talk to him and let him know and asked if I had someone who could put the motor in if they found one. She then told me to look on this website for one and that it was where they get motors from. Of course, they were salvage motors. I managed to get another estimate for half of what the Ford dealership quoted of course and let them know that. I called and never received a call back. I wasn’t expecting them to pay for all of either of the estimates that I received but at least half would have been nice. I called again with no call back. I finally called one morning to ask about my license plates as I was only a couple days away from the temp tags expiring. Of course, my plates had just arrived the day I called about them. And she said that she would not mail them after she told me the night I bought the truck that she would since I didn’t live nearby. I drove down to get my license plates and the owner was there. He acted like he got aggravated because she wouldn’t mail them (I wouldn’t have wanted to have to look at me face to face either when all of this happened after he said if I had any problems they’d take care of it). He talked and seemed sincere and said that he would mail me $500 in a couple of weeks. $500 was a slap in the face but it would be better than nothing. That was six months ago and I still haven’t seen a check. Even after an email. Bottom line, stay away. They have not honored anything they had said during our deal. And that didn’t include the additional $500 I had to spend to get the 4 wheel drive fixed in the truck (that I had also mentioned in a phone call and got no verbal response on).

I had a great experience with M A Affordable cars.
Very down to earth sales people. The dealer was very easy to work with and stood by his inventory. Offered to resolve any issues with the vehicle that I purchased.
