I worked with Alex P. at Lux to purchase a 2016 Jaguar XJ. Over the course of a couple visits, we test drove some different vehicles and Alex was very... accommodating during the process, which was very much pressure free. I looked at a couple different dealerships in between our visits to Lux, and the experience at those were much different. We received a very fair deal on our trade in, a very competitive financing rate and an overall great customer service experience. Alex and the rest of the people at Lux were a pleasure to work with and I will highly recommend them to others.
Lux cars Chicago in buffalo grove is a great down to earth car dealership which we had the opportunity to work With Daniel Lopatinsky who was phenomenal... he really Took his time and reviewed the new bmw we ended up purchasing he was on spot with his communication and he called and texted me directly with any updates and information he had he was great. I Recommend Lux and the upscale quality cars they offer there because they have (BMW, Range rovers and Tesla’s) but they particularly Dan was humble and down To earth and played with our children and wasn’t no where near the typical “high end used car sales man”I recommend Daniel Lopatinsky and lux to any future car purchases I plan on sending Dan some of my colleagues and clients alike. It was Dan birthday as well the day we purchased our bmw vehicle 7/11 and he was working so that shows how dedicated he is to his job and really knowing the car business across the board! Lastly the positive energy Daniel showed was one of a kind when I first called he had a game show host type enthusiasm on the phone and kept that energy throughout the buying process!
This place is awesome, Keisy was very helpful, he answered all the questions I had, will come back once I am ready for my next purchase, highly recommend... this place!
Just bought a 2017 Audi Q7 there sales man Elman was fantastic. He gave me all the info i needed over the phone came in within an hr I was approved washed... and cleaned and ready to drove off. I have never had such a smooth transaction. Would buy a vehicle here again!
I found my 2012 SRT8 Yellow Jacket at Lux Cars Chicago. The whole process was done by phone , internet, and UPS. Lux's salesman represented the car fairly,... did the financing , and they were able to get the car delivered to me here in Indiana. I was very pleased with my experience at Lux and would purchase a vehicle from them again.
I bought a car from this dealer on 3/1/2019. They provided a carfax report and it did show an accident. Dealer explained the accident was very minor and... only cosmetic to rear bumper, and said repair was professionally done so there is absolutely no issue at all. (He said as if he new the previous owner) I flew into Chicago to pick up, and check out the car. Just from a quick glance, I could tell the rear C-pillar and quarter panel was repair very poorly. So I pointed that out to the dealer and he kept on saying it was wax residue when it was a clear-coat issue. Deal was good and I came already so I decided to forget about it and pick up. Well, 2.5 months and $500 later, I'm still fighting to fix the 'rear-end clunking noise'. I found the previous owner on forum by accident, and he told me the real story about the accident. He also said he disclosed the facts about the accident to the dealer he traded it into (which was not these guys) and he would never call this 'minor cosmetic' accident. I don't know where I'm buying my next car from, but I know where I am NOT buying from for sure!
I bought a car for here worst experience ever! With in two days the check engine light came on after a week the check engine came back this it it was not... as easy the car would not make it to Lux so I had to take it to the to a dealer to get fix thankfully they did not work on it. After that issue came another issue with the gas gauge was not working took it in to them and it was the worst mistake ever the car came back with scratches on the dash and with finger prints inside the gauge cluster now why do they need to go in the gauge cluster in the first place if there was any issues with the gauge replace the whole thing don’t rig it if it does not work so I called and complained about the issues they said that they would fix it they said they would clean the gauge cluster that they would call me to come in it’s been almost one month and I yet to get a call back to go in cause they are always busy and don’t have time to get to it but maybe it’s a good thing the mechanics there do not know what they are doing I’m better off going to a neighborhood mechanic and have them work on it they will do about the same type of work. So disappointed I truly have buyers remorse for even stepping foot in that place and buy for them and buying a car with so many issues.
In continuation to previous review: You gave me $9,000 for a 2008 Nissan Armada fully loaded btw, and I was HONEST about all the issues. So your bull****... claim on having to spend $2,000 on repairs is basically evened out with under paying my trade in by $3,000. Whereas I paid upwards of $20,000 which includes tax, title and bull**** dealer fee for a 2008 toyota tundra with a cracked exhaust manifold that Elman knew about and verbally promised to repair. My trade in is listed on your site as $15,000 and I had to pay $1,200 to repair a problem that I POINTED OUT and wouldn't have stupidity purchashed UNLESS I was promised it would have been repaired. If anyone in their right minds reads these reviews DO NOT purchase a vehicle from this dealership or Elman. They are the stereotypical sleazy car dealership that clearly doesn't care about who they screw over. They'll be your bestfriend and once those papers are signed it is a big FU afterwards. Buy/trade your vehicle in somewhere they won't screw you over too.
I am writing this review to warn all potential customers - do NOT go there. I bought a car from them and was assured that the engine and transmission will... have 3 months warranty. I drove back to that dealer after 2 months with complaints of transmission issues. They kept the car for 3 weeks, replaced spark plugs and told me that " this is how this engine and transmission work in such a car". I was also told that they took the car to an original dealership to make sure that everything was okay. I called that dealership I was told that the car was never checked by them. Soon after that 3 month warranty for transmission expired, I experienced really bad drive and decided to take it to a different shop. I was told, that the problem had to be there for at least couple months as the transmission looked really bad ( I am not a mechanic so I cannot provided any specifics). I had to pay $5000 for it's repair out of pocket... I have heard bad things about this dealer, but good reviews on cars.com convinced me to go there and take a risk. It was a bad decision, that I truly regret. Please, choose wisely!
