On Feb 7 2024 I went to Huston's in Avon Park Fla to have my AC worked on and repaired... I was not happy with what they charged me and here it is the end of May 2025 and I'm even more mad now after going to my Chevy dealer here in Ohio to have my oil and fuel filter changed...While I was the I asked the service manger to give me an estimate on the same repairs that was done at Huston and I about fell on the floor when he showed me the estimate-it was over $700 cheaper for the same work and the same parts... It was a Chevy 2500 Duramax truck... I had absolutely no issues with the service person, the technician or the cashier at Huston... After reading what the Tech wrote on my receipt ( I am a mechanically inclined person) he did everything that I would have expected him to do... Like I said I have no problems with any of the people or the work that was done, my AC is back working again.... I understand work at a dealer is more expensive but to charge $2033 to replace a AC compressor and my serpentine belt and check the system out to make sure it was working properly was very excessive... From the time I dropped it off till the time the young lady called and said it was ready to pickup,they only had my truck 3hrs 40mins (they billed me for 5 1/2 book hrs at $167=$919 so bout 2 hrs at $167=$334 profit) and they even washed it and vacuumed it out... I thought that was nice as it needed both... Again my beef was the cost of the work, did they jack up the price because I was from outta state plus a senior citizen... ugh ugh ... And another thing they charged $75 for shop supplies, I didn't realize a couple of shop rags and a couple dabs of hand cleaner were that expensive nowadays-what a rip off.... The serpentine belt was from NAPA, I called NAPA and gave them the number off the sleeve and my price was $44-Hustons charge was $93... I don't have a problem with anyone making a buck but I hate it when they have to take advantage of people...I'd really like to know the justification for the difference in your price of $2033 vers my dealers price of $1300 for all the same stuff... I told everybody in the resort I've been staying at the last 4 winters about my dealings with Huston's (and there are a lot of GM owners) and I don't think there is no way in heck I'll ever do business with you again, I'll use an independent next time....

Can’t be Trusted.
These people can’t be trusted and will waste your time. I Reached out to Huston Chevrolet to purchase a 2020 Silverado. Went through the process through them and they tried to hit me with an outrageous rate. They then proceeded to tell me to go get my own financing which I did. We scheduled a time to have the truck delivered, I sent them the copies of my BANK DRAFT. They then totally ignored me for the rest of the day after calling numerous times trying to make sure we were still good for the delivery today 9/9. As I took the morning off of work to accommodate this. I then find out yesterday they sold the vehicle. AFTER THEY GOT PROOF OF FUNDS. The incompetence of this dealership is unreal. They are nothing near honest or someone you can trust, they need to update the slogan. Thanks for wasting my time Huston Chevrolet. I’ll make sure this review goes to every outlet it can so people see who you truly are. Anyone looking for proof of what I’m saying feel free to message me I have screen shots time stamps and proof of all information stated. I wouldn’t deal with the dealership but should you choose to continue definitely don’t work with Dean in sales or Chaz in finance, as they still to this point can’t even be honest.

New truck purchase
Very good experience with Huston Chevrolet. Drove 2.5 hours to make purchase which was negotiated over the phone. No hassle deal and was in and out in less than an hour thanks to Wallace, my salesman. I would definitely do business with them again.
