Mislead potential buyer

Emailed them about a truck I was interested in and asked if anything was wrong. The answer I hit was it was a sound good truck Went in to dealership to look at and possibly buy the truck. Nobody seemed to want to help but when someone finally did I enquirer about truck. I was then informed that the odometer didn't work not the speedometer and the truck probably had 100k more on it than what they had posted in advertisement. I asked To speak to salesperson that had emailed me about the "sound" truck and asked why he didn't inform me about milage etc. he got irate and asked me to leave I asked to speak to manager and he stayed "you don't want to speak to him that he wouldn't be as nice as me". Then another salesperson interrupted and forced me outside and asked me to leave property cussing me up and down and then threatening me. All I wanted was answers and I was told truck wasn't for sale and treated like dirt. I've never been cussed out by salesman before line that and repeatedly asked to leave and not come back. Should have read reviews first cause it looks like others have had a similarly experience and asked to leave when asking why they were misled. I would not recommend to anyone going there with the way I was treated and by how quick the salesmen seem to get offended and start cussing out and wanting to kick potential buyers off their lot. I know I'm just one person but my money will never be spent there



It?s always an easy process. The dealership here seems focused on providing you with what you need not necessarily what they want to up sell you in. And that?s why they get my business over and over here.


Bought Used Truck

The Truck I bought was not clean inside, went to have it detailed at their facility and was not clean when picked up? Also, the truck was in two accidents and they didn't bother to tell me, and they said they didn't have to and kicked me off the Piney Flats location. The salesman was very irate when I tried to talk to him, sad way to treat a customer.


Ask to leave building without an oil change!

Went in for an oil change for my wife’s 2015 Buick Enclave and was asked if I wanted a tire rotation which I said no. Then I asked about why they recommended on the phone a transmission fluid change at 30,000 miles. I have hearing aids and have to talk louder than normal to hear myself.The service rep took offense and said I hollered at him which I did not. I then ask for the service manager and he could not explain why they recommended a 30,000 transmission fluid change when the GM maintenance book says 45,000 miles severe service.I asked if GM had sent any updated bulletins to change the requirement and he stated no. I then said y’all are cheating me and other people by not telling the truth.. By then, another rep tried to bully me to leave and pulled my wife’s car back out front and asked me to leave..I told them on my way out that I will never do service on my 3 vehicles with them again because of their disguised cheating. So this crippled ,hearing impaired ,retired Assistant Fire Chief called them on the cheating scheme and was refused service and asked to leave. Way to go Chaparral Buick GMC in Johnson City, Tennessee ,You are very Customer Friendly!

This was suppose to be posted with my previous review message: Took my truck to the body shop on 9/6/2018 to have driver side door repaired. Both hinge pins & bushings needed to be replaced, door lock catch that catches the striker pin needed to be replaced and the outside door handle also. Dropped off truck at 9:00 am and was told it would take less than two hours but they wanted to keep truck till 3:00pm as a precaution and a buffer to work around other projects. Went to pick up truck at 3:15 pm and it looked like they had just started on it with in the past hour also John the repairman advised he damaged my door speaker and he had another he could put back in place of the original, but it was as not as good a quality. Truck finally completed just before 7pm however they had not fixed everything and I did not know this until I got home to find the lock would not lock or unlock with the key. In addition I found one more thing that got damaged, the door threshold trim was reattached with the wrong screw and with one that uses a flat washer which cracked the threshold. So the next day Friday 9/7/2018 I went back and talked with the service advisor (Jesse) but he was rude multiple times and I told him so and I told him I would wait for Tim who originally set up the work order. However I had reservation with him also because he had made mistakes twice with the original estimate. A return date was set for 9/11/2018 and once I left the property I tried to call and make a complaint with GM/Owner but no one was available and I asked for a call, but no return call on Friday, Saturday or even Monday. On Tuesday 9/11/2018 the day of the appointment I called to talk to the GM or Owner once again to make sure the issue would get resolved, but because I expressed that I would contact a lawyer if needed while talking to Ms.Danielle who said she was one of the owners. When I showed up at the shop there was 4-5 service guys which one was the rude service advisor to tell just one of me to leave the property and that I was no longer welcomed there and they were not going to service me or my truck anymore, so they and myself called the police and a report has been filed. I contacted GM customer service to file a complaint and the BBB Bureau which said they had a unsolved complaint from a year ago. Now after telling you all of this I would express caution and advise you to take your business elsewhere. I guess I will be seeing them in court! I'll update the results good or bad.

Here I am being told by the service advisor in the light blue shirt and 3 other service technicians to leave the property and that they were no longer going to service me or my truck including fixing what the did not fix as well as what they broke. So they claim that I frightened the female owner in my phone call, but yet they swarm me on the property, imagine that!

Terrible experience

I recently bought a used truck and had 2 issues they agreed to fix. 1 was fixed the other was not. They got paid the same day I looked at the truck. Now the run around and still not repaired as they agreed to. I don't recommend this dealership.


Buick 100,000 mile repair

Second time I have been there and I was impressed with everything especially the friendlyness of the people there including Jim! So happy we moved here almost 2 years ago!
