The buying process was typically the back and forth xx

The buying process was typically the back and forth xx that I despise, but Jovanny was quite likable. Did not make a deal on the day we were there (the 'big guy' was not in that day and someone else was making decisions and I didn't like where they were) 3-4 days later we finally agreed on a price. Then we arrived (from 2 1/2 hours away) the paperwork took 3 HOURS to complete. REALLY? If I were GM, the customer would be out of there in an hour with time left in the day to spend with another customer. Oh, well, they had good inventory and we ended up with a 'decent' deal...after buying over 25 new cars in my 77 years, this was a 'so-so' experience with the ping-pong games car dealers play attempting to squeeze that extra $500 from the buyer's wallet. Oh, well, it is what it is and we love our Aviator so far...and we did not get it from the Lincoln dealer MUCH closer to me (where we have bought 3 vehicles in last 8 years) that attempted to screw us on a Ranger Raptor last year with $10k over MSRP!!....I drove an extra two hours to not buy from him again...(WHAT? you make home deliveries? The only dealer that did that for us was a GMC dealer in Paris, TX last year....LOL) Tommy Davis

Overall it was a nice dealership with a great selection

Overall it was a nice dealership with a great selection of what we were wanting (2025 Aviator). After the back and forth action (I am 77 and know what my trade-in is worth - AND just DESPISE the buying process of a new car and have most of my life) the sales guy was very good, but the transaction was delayed for several days until the 'big guy' could make the decision on a deal. Also, when we DID make the deal (finally, over the phone) we showed up and the paperwork process was 3 hours...THREE HOURS!!! Oh well, we love our Aviator so far....

The only reason for the 4 star: Transport company for

The only reason for the 4 star: Transport company for remote purchases is a fly by night uninsured joke with no DOT placard and a junked out trailer unsuitable for heavy transport… it’s two hillbillies managed by a father and son team off dishonest Indian call center reps. I’ll spare further details here, but plan on randomly taking a day off work to meet them, when they call you half an hour from your house on a different day than agreed…and then they don’t show up until 8pm. Everything with the dealer directly: Michelle in sales, Brandon (pre owned mgr), Dean (store mgr) was absolutely top notch and made for an otherwise seamless process. I highly recommend purchasing from David McDavid, but I would strongly advise picking the vehicle up in person unless you work from home and have an infinitely flexible schedule 👍
