Roll the dice

I took my wife's car there for a running problem. They looked at it and said they had found the problem. At least thought they had. $538.00 later I picked it up and had the same problem. So if you need a PC ( parts changer ) they can help you but they can not diagnos their way out of a paper bag. They came highly recommended by the people that I asked. But I would not bring my car back there ever again. And I had to return to their shop to get the old part after asking them to put it in the car .

Crooked Wrench

I was a new customer who brought in my car to get a coolant leak fixed. At first everyone seemed very nice. I am told by twisted my car is fixed. about a couple days later I still have the same problem. This being my first time to this shop a red flag went up. Why do I still have the same problem? Well they look through my car and turns out there's a problem with the water pump, alright that's fair. After brining it in for a second time it seemed like everything was fixed.... well it wasn't. Now I'm not happy at all. I'm about 2000$ into this fix and they still haven't fixed the issue. I call them again (my mistake) and they say to bring my car in. After taking a look they pretty much say they don't know where it is and it's gonna take a minimum or 3 hours to find the spot + cost of labor and parts of I decided to continue. At this point I can't believe they just told me they want more money from me for the same problem. I told them I am not going to throw any more money into the car for the same issue; as it's an old car, and he says he understands. I go inside and they try and charge me for an hour to look over the car. I couldn't believe it, I'm brining my car in for the third time for the same problem and they wanna charge me for looking at it. The owner, Jim intervened and charged me 5$ for it. I was done with the place. However, Jim called me the next day asking if there was any way to make things better as he valued the business my family has brought him and Jim wanted to give me my money back. After talking to Jim, he assures me he'll talk to the mechanic who worked on my car and would call me back on Tuesday (it was Friday or Saturday when Jim and I talked) this made me feel really good about twisted ranch and I was very happy Jim decided to contact me. This is where it all ends, it's been about a week since that day Jim was supposed to call me back. At this point it's clear to me he doesn't value me as his customer enough to follow through with his word or even contact them to let me know he has been busy and hasn't had a chance. I just haven't heard a single peep from anyone (besides the email telling me to go rate them to get 25$ worth of work.) I don't need the 25$ but I'm going to make sure to leave a review everywhere. My sister swears by them and maybe if you have history with them they treat you well, BUT IF YOURE GOING IN AS A NEW CUSTOMER I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMENDED AVOIDING TWISTED WRENCH.

Great service, honest.

Great shop, especially if you have a Subaru, Honda or Toyota. Clean, organized shop. Always have clearly and simply explained the issues or problem and provided me with options, including doing nothing. Never felt pressured into making an unnecessary repair. This is absolutely bring my car if their was a problem that need diagnosing. Totally trust them. Clean waiting room with free WiFi. Also provide a shuttle.

Used Car Buying Made Easy.

These guys truly are the best. They made the whole process extremely easy for me. I don't have alot of time during the week with work/school and I sort of did this whole car purchase a little backwards, but Eric has mastered the art of multitasking!! Haha. I was in and out in no time flat. The car is great and overall the experience was a positive one. Thanks Twisted Wrench! You guys kick butt!

Used car shopping during "The Polar Vortex"

When, at the beginning of January, I discovered my daughters (very) old car was not going to pass the required state inspection by end of the month, the writing was clearly on the wall. Her car had to be retired. We had to find a new used car for her to drive back and forth to college. Unfortunately, we had a very limited budget, and very little time to locate a car I felt was safe for her to drive. I knew I would be looking for a "needle in a haystack" while visiting dealerships very cold car lots and being "cajoled" into buying a car I really hadn't had in mind. That's exactly what happened my first week of looking. I then checked out Cars.com, entered my criteria, and a car at The Twisted Wrench was revealed to me that seemed to be exactly on target. Thank goodness Eric (the owner of the business) used this wonderful service to advertise his vehicles for sale. I never would have been aware of it otherwise. As soon as I talked to Eric on the phone he seemed to understand my concerns about shopping for a used car for my college aged daughter, on a limited budget, and all by myself. I felt like was in communication with someone of true integrity. When visiting the garage and test driving the car, I was convinced this was a person I wanted to do business with. The car and it's details were presented in a very, honest, professional manner and Eric made every effort to accommodate our modest budget. We bought the car and I could not be more pleased. I love the peace of mind that comes from not having to question myself about whether I had made a totally sound and informed purchasing decision. The Twisted Wrench, it's owner, it's employees, and their work ethic are absolutely the best.

Great Experience

I've purchased two used cars from Twisted Wrench in the last month and have been very satisfied with the cars and their service. Used car buying is often a stressful situation, but I experienced none of that here. They are confident about the quality of their cars and offer fair prices with sold warranties and services. Polite, ethical and straightforward dealership.

Stress free and respectful pre owned car buying.

All in all an excellent car buying experience. No unnecessary price haggling or weird car buying vibes. Eric had the vehicle washed and ready to go for me when i arrived for the test drive. Post test drive i was left alone to fully check the car out without any silly car sales pressure. A really nice extra on the car i bought were the 4 free oil changes, 12 month/12,000 mile engine & powertrain warranty, and free state inspections as long as I own the car. Good job guys!
