The worst car purchase of my life, horrible experience! I bought a car from this place and it has been a nightmare since the beginning. I was promised... stuff and was never done. They (Pete) added a worthless extended warranty without my Authorization which i found out after i got the paperwork . I definitely not recommend this place, their business is just wrong, they should be ashamed!
The service was terrible the buying process took way to long and once I was in possession of the car for 2 weeks they tell me to bring the car back due... to loan not going through and on the way back someone crashed in to the car and became undeliverable so they picked it up and never gave me a dime back
One of the best car buying experiences and there have been many. FAST! Awesome deal. I dealt with Scott and he was very good to work with. I recommend... that if you are in the market, give them a shot. You'll save thousands!
Went to pick up car they had moved to new facility their equipment (conputers, etc) wasn’t working. It was a long long process. Had a tire on an almost... flat pointed that out to them and the tinting job is not good at all. Request a spare kit never got those. After hours of being there we never mention the low tire nor the tinting just left. There were only enough gas in car to drive 15 miles and of course the gas light came on and the symbol for low tires came on. Had to return for a part for the car and the keys they had order I was told did not work but they would get another key and fed ex it to me. Never did receive that. I’m just going to say they were overwhelm with the present move.
I was greeted by a red/multicolored shoulder length haired salesman named Mandie. Her greeting was rather odd, and lacked professionalism to say the least.... Her words to me when I entered V Dubs Only was, "Whats up dog?". Not only was this greeting the opposite of professional, but for her to use this type of language towards me is uncalled for when I saw her greet other potential buyers in a more professional manner. Once I ask to speak to the manager and go about inquiring specific information to finish my visit, I simply say "you have a good day", she then says in a loud obnoxious tone "you have a good day homie". The owner then proceeds to tell me that she speaks like that to everyone and that she means no harm. Due to Mandie's lack of professionalism, and demeaning attitude not only will I not be purchasing a vehicle from them or conducting any future business with them, but I would not recommend anyone doing business at this establishment if these type of mannerisms on the part of sales managers are allowed by superiors.
I went to look at an Audi Q5. Joe was nice and showed me the vehicle - he is the only reason that I didn't give one star for customer service. The car... had low miles and the exterior was in good shape, but significant mechanical parts were either missing (rear cargo shelf) or in disrepair (panoramic sunshade and gas door lock). Just these items alone are worth about $1,500 in added retail costs. When I talked to a female salesperson about a reasonable offer, she was rude and acted like Vdubs had the best Q5 in the whole world - its funny because the car is still for sale 45 days later at the same ridiculous price!
I recently purchased a Passat, so far so good. I did like them, Joe was helpful. I didn't give 5 stars because I just felt that the process took too long... to say that I wasn't financing and I was paying cash.
I have been trying to purchase a vehicle I found online for a week. When I came in (after telling the sales rep that I was coming in), the vehicle was... getting "detailed" and I made arrangements to be there today to view and purchase the vehicle, but have been ignored all day! All of my calls and messages have been ignored. I am a serious buyer! You should not treat buyers this way!
I bought a car from them in good faith. I asked for two repairs to be made. One was fixed, the other is somewhat fixed. When it was ready (almost a week... late) it did not have a spare key, the fuel door did not work, and the interior lights did not work. Those repairs I paid for at the local V.W. house. I decided to fix it ourselves since the previous repairs were not great, and they told me the car passed inspection but clearly was not road worthy. When I went to pick up the plates and keys, there was a dispute over my level of satisfaction. I was very annoyed at the way my wife was treated when the car was picked up, and there unwillingness to follow through with a promise they made to her. After I left, Joe called my wife at work to "confront" her. Very unprofessional. We have a good running car, that I paid a reasonable price for, but the experience of doing business with them was dreadful.
To all our readers/potential customers: this review is in regards to "not satisfied." "Not satisfied" purchased a 2010 Volkswagen New Beetle from VDu...bs Only on 03/13/15. We delivered the vehicle in "almost a week", in order for us to accommodate an issue we had with the ignition cylinder (as stated on the "WE OWE" DOCUMENT that was SIGNED), and had to be SHIPPED FROM GERMANY (which takes 7-10 business days)- customer WAS AWARE of this. Weeks after the vehicle has been delivered, "not satisfied" states that both the "interior lights" and "fuel door" did not work. Customer DID NOT GET IN CONTACT with VDubs Only to make them cognizant of these issues post purchase. As I mentioned (via phone), VDubs Only WOULD HAVE fixed these issues at VDubs Only Plano (service center) AT NO CHARGE. As I, the sales manager, told "not satisfied"'s wife, her response was as follows: "But it's 2 hours away from where we live." AGAIN, VDubs Only would have accommodate "not satisfied"'s needs accordingly, if we were well aware of the situation. "Not satisfied" clearly states that they "HAVE A GOOD RUNNING CAR" at a "REASONABLE PRICE". We pride ourselves in giving customer's GREAT DEALS on vehicles with (ONLY) CLEAN TITLES. With all this being said, VDubs Only is upset that we cannot satisfy "not satisfied" and his wife. We are doing everything we can to meet and exceed EVERY CUSTOMER'S STANDARD of satisfaction before, during, and after time of purchase (in addition to getting a CLEAN, RUNNING VEHICLE at a GREAT PRICE); and ultimately, we want to make car-buying an unstressed, safe and harmonious experience for EVERYONE who steps foot here, at VDubs Only. -Joe, VDubs Only, Sales Manager
Joe was very quick to respond to my inquiry, as well as to follow up. The vehicle was not as "ready to go" as described, but they were very prompt at making... it right and taking care of a few minor fixes. The truck I bought was exactly as described and Vdubs was very accommodating in expediting the title process. As long as the buyer is knowledgeable and informed about the vehicle he/she wants, I see no reason not to purchase a vehicle from Vdubs. I drove 8 hrs from out-of-state, to pick up my vehicle, and would do it again.
