I purchased a used vehicle from this dealership Everything was great at first. The vehicle had a few problems that were repaired under the warranty. Then... about 10 days ago the vehicle had another problem. The mechanics were able to figure out what the problem was. I was told that because of the Christmas holiday the part needed wouldn’t be there until the Thursday after Christmas. That was perfectly fine with me. The vehicle is still at the dealership. I called on Friday and was told that I could pick up the vehicle later in the day. I asked if there was anything else wrong with it and was told “NO”. I never heard anything from them. I stopped by the dealership on Saturday and was told that there was another problem. I was then told a mechanic took the car for the weekend. This upset me greatly. My insurance doesn’t cover someone else who is joy riding. I feel like I am getting the run around. I was so happy first but now I totally regret buying this car at this place
i was was in a hurry on my day off and stopped into a quickie place for an oil change,The $29.99 special went to $49.99 for the "high milage oil which... of coarse they highly recommended,they told me my power steering was "burnt" and badly needed to be replaced,i declined but when i had my van in for a repair at Claycombs i asked them to check it out. They reported that there was nothing wrong with the fluid.Bottom line Claycomb offers fair priced and most important honest service.I will continue to have all 3 of my families cars serviced there.

After purchasing 7 (yes seven) vehicles from claycomb auto sales, I think I can confidently say that this is the best dealership to deal with period. If... you want someone to lie to you about what you can afford, this is not the place. Sewell will be blunt with you, if buying a car from him in your current financial situation is not a smart move, he will tell you. On the flip side Sewell will do just about anything in his power to get you the best deal on a vehicle (reasonably, he is running a business and has to turn a profit to stay open). As far as prices, they are competitive if not, better than area dealers. The difference between his cars and their cars, is that his cars come with a lifetime warranty that covers just about every moving part on the vehicle. If he does not have a vehicle in Stock at the time of your visit, go talk to him and he will do his best to find it.

Pulled in on a Sunday just because we were driving by, did not expect to see anybody but there was Sewell and his dog working on their off day. From there... he had given me exactly what my trade was worth which was far better than other dealers and offered me a fair price on the truck i was going to purchase. So in all honesty there really wasn't any negotiating. As soon as you meet Claycomb you can sense that this guy is out to make an honest living and not to get rich. I felt that he was honest and truthful and works on having returning customers. I had signed the paper work while still needing some things done to the vehicle, would not have done that with other dealers. But he stood by his word and finished the job. I have already recommended him for everyone that has asked my about my new ride. Was the easiest car buying experience i have ever had and the warranty is unbeatable!

The Claycomb Dealership was recommended to us by professional truck drivers. We heard that the owner is an honest man, the prices are fair and the warranty... is unbeatable. We were just looking around and were not in a real hurry to buy a vehicle. We purchased one that day. The owner pulled up comps for us on his computer on the website that we asked for. He gave us a warranty that I paid several thousands of dollars for elsewhere, and it was included in the sticker price. We got financed within a few hours after filling out the application at a very low 2.89% on a used vehicle. The buying process was very easy going and pleasant. We got what we were told we would be getting. Sewell, Don and Lisa make a great team. We will be back when we need another vehicle.

I live one tenth of a mile from a car repair shop but I'd rather travel the 32 miles to have my car serviced at Claycomb Auto Sales. His mechanics are knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. We get a quick appointment and our cars are taken care of promptly. As a owner of a small dealership, Sewell Claycomb gives excellent personal attention to every detail.
