They reached out right away after my online inquiry into the '17 Lexus NX. Unfortunately there was no delivery service and this would be costly from Ft. Meyers to Las Cruces, NM. Nonetheless the rep was very forthright with the car info and felt no hard selling on their end. Always appreciated when your not there in person to make personal contact.

Get car inspected by the actual dealer $200 maybe, but save yourself a ton of headache in the end.

I got approved and made a deal on the phone. Came in test drove the minivan all good. The sale was done before I stepped a foot in the door. I asked for the $399 Dealer fee to be removed, since the dealer didn't handle the deal. I was putting five grand for a down payment and the salesman said no he won't deduct the processing fee. Lost the deal. Plenty of junk sitting on sales lots.....

After waiting over a half an hour past my appointment time, I finally was able to speak to a sales representative. The vehicle I was interested in was advertised as “no accidents” on their car report. After doing my own research CarFax showed two minor accidents. It was obvious when looking at the bumper a collision had occurred. I was still interested in the vehicle but not at the inflated price they were asking. They were $2500 over blue book value. I was told that the vehicle was “certified” (90 days isn’t a warranty worth a few grand) and I should be looking at that price. Still the vehicle was $1000 over that price. They then told me that CarMax doesn’t negotiate. I guess that policy allows them to rip customers off. Do your own research on any vehicle bought from CarMax. Obviously they are happy with overcharging you and not being honest.

Well... The carmax people never even bothered to reply back to my inquiry. So there isn’t much to say or review other then complete lack of service and communication.

Got a great deal on a vehicle I had been looking for for some time. It was below the KBB retail price and is in great shape. The vehicle was moved from FLorida to SC in a weeks time. Very easy transaction. great job CarMax!

Just bought a new car today at Car Max, and actually traded in my car that I previously bought from Car Max 2 years ago. I worked with Nick, who was absolutely wonderful from start to finish! I had talked to him yesterday while getting my car appraised and when we tried to set an appointment for me to come back to look at a car, we realized we worked almost the exact same hours. Nick so kindly offered to stay late so I could come at a time convenient to me. He did everything he could to make my experience as great as it could be, and he truly did an awesome job! He even ended up staying 3 hours after his shift was supposed to end, but he was so cheerful, you never would have known! Anyone looking for a car, definitely see Nick @ Car Max! He's not "just another car salesman" .. he's honest and helpful and gives great customer service!

I had been searching for a car in many dealerships around the area and for one reason or the other it would not work out, at Carmax it was a totally different experience from the moment I walked in. Ricardo Barsesa was an amazing sales Man he helped me find the car I wanted and after that it was the easiest/Fastest process ever! They are Amazing.
