Annie was great as is the car. The others involved are not ethical. They are somewhat dishonest and I say beware. I was initially charged for an additional 9 addons. One of them (are car locator service for $1500), I was told was required if I wanted to purchase the car. I requested refunds for the other 8. They actually refunded 6 but told me I had already used the other 2. One was winshield (glass protection) and the other was paint protection (ceramic coating). The GM, Danielle Ortega said that they cannot refund the 2 items because I used them. This is an outright lie!. Danielle is not to be trusted, she knows they weren't used.. The owner Kevin Hardin is Danielle's boss, he can make this right, but I was told he isn't in that often and all contacts have to go through Danielle. I am going to put this review on yelp too. After reading many of the reviews they don't seem to care too much. Go someplace else!

Road tested a Kia Carnival with Paul in early December
Road tested a Kia Carnival with Paul in early December 2021. We were supposed to get a $25 Amazon Gift Card in the mail as per their promotion. When I asked Paul about that, he said to text him the code, which id on 12/04/2021. Never got the card. After talking to him several times, I spote to one of the sales managers. He said he would put me back into the system??? 05/16/2021 and still no response. Called and talket to one of the GM - Mike Khartabil. He said the card would be coming from corporate. They know nothing about it. They say it is a dealer's promotion. STILL NO CARD!!! This my friends can now be put in the scam column!😥 P.S. Bought a 2019 Kia from Kia of Cerritos with 10K miles on it.

Shame on Kia Irvine for ripping off customers. We will all remember you in the years to come when we need another car and will purchase said vehicle from another manufacturer that didn’t price gouge the consumer. It’s too bad your greed has blurred your vision.

They kept telling me there was nothing wrong a month after warranty expired they said I needed a new engine then we're asking for 7000 to repair once I told them I had extended warranty they said they'd check and I did so supposedly put in a new engine still isn't working right and almost died while on the freeway because they didn't screw in the underneath cover on correctly I found a zip tie

BEWARE!
BEWARE!! I had my 2019 KIA forte towed to the service department on May 31st 2022. Two weeks later they finally gave me a diagnosis of my vehicle needed a whole new motor. Fast forward to June 28th 2022 I got a call saying my car was finally completed of all repairs needed. I got to pick up my car and go to drive away when I realize my front windshield is cracked half way across the windshield. Now the service department is saying there was a small crack in the windshield when it was dropped off and from being in the sun the crack grew. The picture clearly shows a water spot, not a crack!! I can't believe I'm being told this and it's their story they're running with. Even if there was a small crack and they know the sun makes it bigger xxx wouldn't they inform me about this? Instead I'm told by the manager that "KIA uses cheap glass and it happens all the time." Again, them knowing this and not taking the proper precautions for my vehicle in their care I'm basically being told "too bad." I have had nothing but horrible experiences with KIA, last year in August 2021 my transmission went out and now only 9 months later my engine has gone out and needed to be replaced. To top everything off the service department cracks my windshield and doesn't take responsibility and blames KIA for using cheap glass. The manger himself told me KIA vehicles "are ok vehicles for what you pay for them." I clearly understand that now. I'm greatly disappointed in the service overall due to the fact I took care of the loner vehicle like I would my own while they repaired my motor. Unfortunately have to get lawyers involved because I am done with all these problems KIA has given me!!! Below are photos of before and after of my vehicle. Again take your vehicle to them at your own risk. Only reason I didn't name drop the employees names is I don't want to be the reason of anyone being fired.

DON'T BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP ! My son and I came to buy their Kia Niro advertised online for a good price. We did our homework and showed up to today ready to buy. ( he leaves for school tomorrow) When I confirmed the price with the salesman and said we're ready to buy, he said "you have to buy the security system too and it's $1,500". Having bought a couple of cars in my day, I politely said I don't want the "security system" and I'm ready to buy the car, with cash. The salesman pulled the "let me talk to my manager" bit and came back with "you have to buy the security system or it's no deal" We left their lot and took our business to an honest dealer (Kia Garden Grove) Moral of the story: if a dealership is willing to force you into this kind of unconscionable contract, how many other ways are they trying to cheat you ? How many ways are they gouging you that you don't know about ? Car deals are one of the most expensive purchases you will make, and contracts like this should only be entered into with a business you can trust. Advertising a car for a teaser price in order to try to hook you at closing with a bogus security system fee screams dishonesty and deceit. DON'T TRUST IRVINE KIA

Jim Olson Rocks Kia of Irvine!
This was my first visit to the Kia of Irvine facility and I was blown away. Jim Olson, a service manager there, was fantastic. He greeted me the second I pulled into the service area. Took my information and escorted me into the waiting area where I feasted on a non-stop supply of excellent coffee - usually the coffee at dealerships tastes like slop - as well as a tasty array of treats and snacks. There was a television with cable and ports for computers. Jim came into the waiting area a couple times to inform me of updates. My Kia Soul was ready drive away in a remarkably short time. Mr. Olson thanked me for visiting the dealership and personally walked me to my car. He was affable, professional and really seemed to care - rare traits these days. Jim Olson rocks. If your Kia needs servicing of any kind, visit Jim in Irvine.
