We were faced with having to make several out- of- town

We were faced with having to make several out- of- town dr. appointments and needed reliable transportation. We also wanted to deal with a local dealership that could keep our car maintained as needed. Carlsbad Ford had the car that we wanted and a very Customer- oriented sales rep, Mr. David Perez that worked with us before, during and after the sale to assure our satisfaction with our purchase decision. We are totally impressed and satisfied with Mr. Perez and Carlsbad Ford.

We were faced with having to make several out- of- town dr. appointments and needed reliable transportation. We also wanted to deal with a local dealership that could keep our car maintained as needed. Carlsbad Ford had the car that we wanted and a very Customer- oriented sales rep, Mr. David Perez that worked with us before, during and after the sale to assure our satisfaction with our purchase decision. My wife had taken in her Super Duty for repairs after a

My wife had taken in her Super Duty for repairs after a recent accident. The service writer was completely lazy in her job at contacting the insurance agency to move forward with repairs. My wife had to stay in constant contact with the insurance agency because the service writer wouldn't accept or return my wife's calls. The service writer always made excuses about the reasons it was taking so long to get anything going on repairs. Once repairs were started, multiple attempts were made for updates about the progress and again why it was taking so long. Again, more excuses/lies. After Carlsbad Ford returned the truck 3 months later, it still wasn't fixed let alone safe to drive. The service manager placed the blame on the aftermarket suspension lift. They stated the alignment was perfect on the rack and drove fine. The alignment however, was so far off, that another service company couldn't make any adjustments due to remaining damage from the wreck. Again, Carlsbad Ford blamed the suspension lift. We ended up contacting the insurance agency and was allowed to take the truck to a repair shop of our choosing. That repair shop found that the front axle was damaged and no longer straight. We ordered a new axle and had it replaced out of our own pocket. After 4 months of my wife being without her truck, it is now completely repaired and has not alignment issues. You would figure that the axle issue is something that a Ford ASE mechanic would be able to diagnose and repair. The sales department is top notch, Well, at least the Salesman we always deal with is. But, the service department is 180 degrees from the sales. This is not the first bad experience we have had with this service department and writer. On the same truck none the less. Lies and horrible communication happen every time we have to take our trucks into be serviced/repaired. They didn't even fix any recalls on the trucks we have bought from this dealership (I still have 3 pending recalls on my truck purchased from there as well). So with taking my wife's truck to another repair shop and parts involved, we are out five grand thanks to Carlsbad Ford. I wish i could leave zero star reviews for the service department because they are defiantly less than 1 star. Point being, do not take your vehicle to Carlsbad Ford to be repaired if you want it repaired correctly and in a timely manner.

The buying process was horrible due to the Ford salesman

The buying process was horrible due to the Ford salesman being asked specifically not to add their ridiculous in-house warranty. They did it anyway on 2 different vehicles. The lifetime oil change agreement that they sold me was worthless if you wanted to get your oil changed in a timely manner. The quality of repairs was less than stellar. I put my Raptor in the shop for transmission issues and they never touched it in 2 months. I took it to Artesia Ford, and it was fixed in 3 weeks. Carlsbad Ford / Chevrolet are the worst that I have ever dealt with, and I have bought a ton of trucks across the country.

New Vehicle purchase

I was impressed with Jamie Hanway he was helpful with the purchase of my new Expedition Timberline, other sales staff not so helpful. I would still highly recommend Carlsbad motors to a family member or friend.

Great Service

After thoroughly checking over my needs and writing up the work order Rueben very assuredly advised me they would begin work as soon as possible and have it ready for me. Rueben had all of my needs listed plus overseeing anything else in their vehicle inspection. The next day he called me advising the vehicle was ready to be picked up and that he personally had seen to it some of the parts required had gotten over-nighted to the dealership so repairs could readily have been made, had Rueben not performed very determined parts ordered promptly, repairs could have been delayed days. In doing so, he made sure the repairs were completed in a timely manner since due to medical problems we required having the vehicle ready for road travel. All work was completed as required and outstanding personification in excellence to my satisfaction I could not have been more pleased than expected. Outstanding job, Carlsbad Ford/Lincoln!!!
