Courtesy car sucks
My only issue is that while doing repairs to my car, I was loaned a car of lesser value and was unhappy with the model. I was told I had a strict traveling range and had to have special approval to visit my ill parent, a little over 100 miles away. (Approval after my insistence that i was going whether they approved or not). I was then given “approval” for one day, and this was literally written on the paperwork. Where i was going and what date i planned it. The car i was given was not cleaned to my standards. I drive a vehicle with upgraded options and was given a car not similar. I did not anticipate them keeping my car at time of service and I do have errands that need to be taken care of. I was not planning a road trip for pleasure and found the restrictions to be ridiculous. When i had courtesy cars from Cadillac dealership this was not an issue and they gave me a beautiful car to use while mine was being repaired. I expect the same service from GMC. As far as actual customer service— they were great. The mechanic did sit in my ivory leather vehicle and get console and passenger chairs dirty with grease. The customer service agent had them clean it before giving back to me. I feel some things need tweaking with their courtesy car program. Such as telling a grown adult they can’t travel out of the county for next week. That’s not realistic for everyone. I felt burdened to watch the miles and I work a good distance from my home anyway.
Because I was there on a Monday morning without an appointment, I had to wait longer than expected. I was finally given a ride to my net destination which was much appreciated.
Ready to purchase
I went online and found two cars I was interested in taking a look at. Received a call back and set up an appointment to drive all the way out to see them. It was only a few hours later. At the point They were supposed to hold the cars for me to take a look. I received a call about 45 minutes prior to my appointment which i was just about to head that way because of the distance and was notified that the car i was interested in was just sold. Not sure what the meaning of hold on the car was but that’s not the meaning i have for sold. The second car i was interested in wasn’t even there and although i was told that it would be brought to that location when i set up the time, it was koy. The salesman i spoke with had an I don’t care attitude but said he would give me a call the next day when the car arrived. I never received the call! Guess they weren’t interested in my business.
Had an oil change did not reset my oil life on my Dash did not put a sticker in the window did not reset my tire sensors worried if they even done the oil change
Will never go back...
Salesman & management were difficult to work with and the process took way too long... ended up walking out.
Great teamwork there. Very courteous staff. Mr. Holland kept us informed of progress and asked before any extra work was done.
