This was the worst experience I have ever had buying a car. I had use them twice in the past an the experience was great. But times have change. I first... worked with someone name Tim Scockdale. This guy was not concerned at all in finding me a new vehicle. He would never call or text me back. I would constantly have to get in contact with him. Being fed up, I call an ask to speak to a manager. Someone name Mike Hudgens stated he was a manger an would handle my case. It’s been over a month an I still have not heard from either one. This was a new vehicle that I was looking for. They stated that they could not fine that vehicle. I decided to search on my own. I founded the vehicle I wanted in one day. Bought new vehicle from Jim Ellis Chevrolet an ended up financing through a different bank than Georgia owns. They cost Georgia Owns a lost as well as Car Finders. Will never consider doing business with this company again.
I picked out a car at a dealer and the rep at Associated helped me understand that this vehicle may be cheap for a reason! She found the GL off lease from... the auction and she certified it for only $600 more than the other one I picked out!!! So instead of picking out something that would have given me headaches, I let her do her thing :) So Glad I did. Doreen was perfect! She even emailed me a choice at 11pm LOL
Guys were very easy to work with, they one person Dean that answered the phone even called me back when they were closed on a Sunday. He beat the deal... from a local dealer by 2k and still dropped it off at my house.
FIRST time and definitely the LAST time using Carfinders! After my credit union approved my loan they recommended them, I usually find my own vehicles... but I further inquired to give them a shot. Started off good with sales person who was in constant communication in locating vehicle I wanted, especially since my own CU referred them for their members. Their driver was late picking up vehicle from selling dealer and delivering to their Norcross office (deeper story behind that). This is where I was not listening to my gut feeling. I was made aware of some imperfections/cosmetics prior to but was told "everything on the vehicle works and ran great in excellent condition for 8 yrs old", once I saw vehicle salesperson had some scratches addressed on it. Test drive time - dead battery?? Left vehicle there so battery could be replaced next day. Vehicle wasn't cleaned inside, wasn't horrible but should have been done anyway. Test drive good, noticed daytime running light out. Was told it would be replaced. Next morning leaving for work engine light on!! Get code scanned by Autozone, 7 codes relating to low voltage. I looked at battery and noticed it seemed smaller for an SUV. They installed wrong (smaller voltage) battery which caused codes!! Contacted salesperson, was then sent to drive to one of their partnered shops in Doraville (20 miles from home), had to instruct them to VERIFY the manufacture battery for vehicle. Resolved and replace at no cost. NEXT, found out A/C not working after having another auto shop inspect. $1,300 to replace. Contacted salesperson, the BEST they (carfinders) could do was negotiate a discount with dealer they bought vehicle from... AT MY COST OF $750!! I asked what happened to the vehicle being "mechanically inspected"?? No proof of inspection, no check list or nothing. BEWARE before signing papers, HAVE VEHICLE FULLY INSPECTED AND DOCUMENTED. Message from their introduction: Some of the biggest benefits of using our service are: - We verify the pricing to make sure you are not over paying for a vehicle. - We do a full mechanical inspection on the vehicles to ensure you are buying a quality vehicle. If a vehicle needs something such as brakes, tires, oil change, etc., we take care of it for you at no additional cost prior to you even seeing the vehicle! - We have every vehicle professionally detailed prior to a delivery at no extra cost to our members!
Honestly the worst car buying experience I have ever had. It was the first time I have used this place and the last. Robert Rudd was the man who sold me... my car and he could not have been more of a rude, demeaning person throughout the process. First off, I was yelled at for not looking him in the eye while we were checking the coolant. Secondly, he would not let me test drive the car and take it to somewhere to get inspected because I thought there was a problem. And lastly, while I was trying to get all paperwork finalized, he refused to acknowledge my questions and concerns because he was too busy car shopping in online auctions at the moment and was more interested in his computer. What an awful salesman and experience. Luckily for me, I bought the car as-is anyways, and there turned out to be no problems at all. Thank you for the knocked-down price for a perfectly good working car all because I was not allowed to get it inspected. What goes around, comes around. I will never be buying from this place again.
Price stayed the same and payments were given right over the phone! Delivered that day and the rate they had was .75% less than my bank :) Ill take it!
If you are going to post a car for sale and it shows up on every used car website then the least you can do is be responsive. Been calling this place since... Saturday 2/18. Left voice mails, sent message thru the website and no response. Have tried to call 3 times today alone. Nothing!!
We talked and the hours of operation are M-F 8:30-5pm, and also closed on bank holidays. When you did leave a voicemail I called you even though we we...re not open. Hours of operation are posted under the dealer profile and displayed on the website. Thanks again
They got my Acura TL for me and delivered it to my house! Dean was great and found the car I wanted and couldn't have been easier to deal with.
They need to look more close on vehicles they bring in. Test them out good and bring to a professional mechanic is advised. Don't. Get ripped offed!
They are partnered with several Atlanta Credit Unions and got us a great rate for financing. They also delivered the car right to our home! Easiest purchase... we've ever made.
