E and J Motors

I am distrustful by nature and don't normally deal with used car salespeople. But E&J was selling a Tundra for a great price. A few weeks later I noticed an electrical problem. I called Chis and E&J sent out a tow truck. Which was unnecessary since the truck was driveable. They also gave me a loaner car. Their mechanic Eric is an airplane mechanic. He fixed the problem first try. Which I doubted bc the problem was intermittent and very hard to replicate. Superior business. Look for a car here first.

My husband and I had the BEST experience buying a vehicle from Gilbert at E&J Motors in Portland. The entire purchase took less than 2 hours and the service was top notch. Gilbert was so professional and kind. He found us great financing with a local credit union too! E&J had just the vehicle we wanted, at a fair price, and the entire experience was awesome! I whole heartedly recommend you check them out. It wasxa fantastic way to start our Sunday! Their Coffee was gooooood too. Thanks Gilbert.

I bought a mini van from E and J motors 3 weeks ago. The salesman who helped me called me yesterday to tell me they have an extra key for my van and also says I owe them $200 but adds he will show all the receipts to prove it when I come to get the key. I show up the next day to get my key and figure this out. The salesman hands me the key than asks to photo copy my debit card. I ask to see some documentation to prove I owe them $200. The salesman tells this long elaborate story on why I should just trust him. I ask again for the receipts to prove it, this is when the salesman attitude changed. He demanded I give him the key back and he'll charge me for it. I laugh and decline his demand and the salesman raises his voice now calling me an xxxxxxx and he'll send me to collections. At this point I walk out and get into my van and the salesman follows me outside yelling at me, knocks on my window still yelling. His behavior was completely inappropriate and shouldn't be tolerated. What kind of business tells a customer to trust they owe money without any documentation? Not an honest one. I originally had a good experience buying a van for my famliy with the same salesman. I was shocked and appalled by his behavior. I will not be going back to E and J Motors and won't recommend it any body as long as that salesman is employed there. Please beware of their dishonest behavior. I will add that I have reviewed all the documents and receipts they gave me when I bought my van and I am confinement that I paid them in full. I don't owe them any money, this felt like a scam and the fact this salesman might have access to my personal information worries me. Beware.

Terrible customer service. I called to look at a vehicle and wanted to make sure it was still available since I live hour plus away and they said it was there and ready for a test drive. Ended up not being there and had to go to a shady repair shop to pick it up and bring it back for the company. Vehicle was listed as clean and had dents and scratches as well as being rusted to xxxx. Salesman were incredibly ignorant and kept lying to me about everything. One of them tried to tell me that it was clean because aluminum wasn't rusted which I informed them aluminum doesn't rust. I was peeling rust off the vehicle and called them out that it was not the same one in pictures. Salesman were incredibly unprofessional and every other word was f this or f that. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!! Doubt this review will stay up but be warned

I traded in my car for a truck, and Chris and Gilberto made the entire process painless and easy. Plus, it was very quick! I would recommend!

We searched for a specific make and model and found what we were looking for at E and J Motors. Very nice people to work with! Great Service! Great transaction! We bought a nice used car here that we hope to keep around for a long time! Love it!!

It was the greatest car buying experience i have ever been apart of. If you are putting off buying a car cause you cant stand the salesman and the back and forth. Plus being there for hours. I highly recommend giveing the guys at E&J motors a shot.

We had a very pleasant shopping experience with Gilbert. He was very straightforward and didn’t push us or tell us what we “wanted”. We appreciated his openness and honesty, plus the 30-day warranty that came with the vehicle.

After shopping for awhile we were worn out. Some sales people were just flat rude. It was when we spoke to John Kandi on the phone. He was so helpful and entertaining. We had such a great time shopping for an RX 350. Thanks John, Gilbert, and Wayne.

After almost 9 weeks of shopping for an RX400h I finally found one. The sales staff was nice and direct to the point. It was so nice not to have to play the games that I have had to deal with up to this point. Thanks
